Pros: Very beautiful hotel. Room was very spacious and gorgeous, and small kitchenette was still very useful with full set of plates, glasses, and utensils. Their ocean-front mineral pools are simply great with its view. We didn't have a chance to take any massage service this time, but their Spa facility was nice and beautiful as well. We also enjoyed the food and drinks a lot at their pub.
Definitely recommended for nice relaxing stays in more adult/mature atmosphere.

Pros: Stunning view from my ocean front room. So often they are just slithers of ocean view but this was panoramic and was a lovely treat to sit on the balcony with breakfast. Would highly recommend paying extra for these rooms. Service was excellent - I got a complementary pick up from Downtown Victoria for check-in which was very handy. Rooms - very well equipped and feel luxurious. Little kitchen with microwave and cafeteria was a great addition and came in very handy. Bathroom with big bath and stand alone shower was gorgeous as well. Hotel - really nicely done, lovely lobby and communal areas. Use of pools at night is a lovely extra and when I was there it was nice and quiet so had plenty of space. Location - short walk from the bay and marina with stunning views. Very quiet and peaceful with lovely shops and restaurants. Sat and watched a muma and baby seal in the marina for a fair while!

Cons: At Mineral pools, the large pool could be warmer in winter season as it gets freezing to get out of the pool... In the meantime, hot tubs were nice and hot, but due to their small sizes, they can instantly get occupied with group of people, which makes other guests hesitant to join and stay in the less-warm pool for a long time.
Also it'd be nice if how-to-order drinks at the pool was informed more clearly. When we saw other guests enjoying their drinks, we really wanted to order some for ourselves as well. But we didn't know how, so we just waited for the server to come to the pool. Finally in the morning of the last day, we found out there was a inter-phone with drink/food menu located near the gate, which was too late for us :(
For the nature of the hotel's very adult/mature atmosphere, I personally felt it'd be kinda nice to actually make it Adult Only. Of course it's also nice to see cute little children enjoying their stays as well, but when I see them jumping into the pool (right in front of No Diving signs, and parents never stop them) or hear them screaming (calling mom), it's a lil turn-down for us. But it's very personal preference, so we do respect hotel's policy.
Otherwise, we loved the hotel and definitely come back for next time!

Cons: Just a small thing of check out - I booked a taxi through the reception which arrived almost 15 minutes late to take me to the airport. The reception staff said this was typical of the taxi company, so they should either stop using them, or warn guests so they can book for an earlier slot. I had a flight to catch back to the UK and this started the journey off badly!

Pros: The hotel is beautiful with super friendly staff. It seems a walk away from the museum and parliament building, but the location is only a 10-15 walk away with great views back over the water.
Cons: The only criticism I have is that the bar should be open past midnight on Saturdays. My sister and I returned from a show to the bar at 11:45pm to be told (very nicely) that last orders had been already called... It was a real shame because the bar was still busy with great music and people were arriving after us to the same message. We couldn't even get a soft drink so went to our room, which killed our vibe a little.

Pros: The swimming pool and the view
Cons: The smell of the room! I think it was a spray used on the furniture like a febreeze type thing. Overpowering and extremely uncomfortable to be in that space. Hotel rooms should be scent free people are allergic to these products. Very unhealthy. Also loud music with techno bass beat vibrating the building from 6 pm until after midnight then loud speaking voices on balcony very little sleep.

Cons: Tea/coffee supplies were not refilled each day. It was difficult to work out were the pool was located - not a lot of information on it was supplied by the resort. It was a nice area but was actually located away from the main resort building, attached to another building on the property. This made it a little awkward to navigate to. Pros: Suites are expansive and surprisingly well fitted out with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The area is quiet and beautiful, and a brief drive from downtown Langford and Victoria.
Cons: It's clear after a few hours at the property that you're a guest of the neighbourhood, not the hotel. The fitness suite and pool is shared with the rest of the local community, and isn't hotel-specific. Unless you're a golfer, you'll probably never use most of the features in the resort fee. Staff in the on-site restaurants are overstretched, tired and error-prone as a result — a Friday night had two waitresses and one bartender, and all service ground to a halt because of an empty keg. For the size and scale of the hotel, it's woefully understaffed.
