The location was great as within a short walking distance to several restaurants and some shops. The price for Sewards is good and the mattresses were excellent. Very good water pressure and immediately hot as well. The FREE Seward town shuttle brings you to just a couple of hundred yards away from it. Free WIFI.
Nobody explained to us how this establishment works, its like a B&B. We thought we are walking into stranger's living room of some sorts, not having been made aware of the fact that this is the common area for all guests. Breakfast only starts at 7 am (without exceptions...). Also the coffee. This is included in the price. Since we asked for a twin room, we got a bedroom with an upstairs, BUT: the ladder to upstairs is flat pasted on the wall.... which neither one of us wanted to do at 56 and 70 yrs. old! So we shared the downstairs King Bed. I personally cannot see children climb these stairs either (in my opinion), as the foot hold is only approx. 2,5" wide and you have your face pasted on the wall so to speak
