7,1 Good
Pros: Convenient access to ski slopes and rentals. Onsite restaurant for quick snack or drink. Plenty of parking out front. Quiet and relatively peaceful.
Cons: No elevator up the stairs. Restaurant closes early. Hard to find at night, poorly lit. Rooms are very cramped. The outlets are not really compatible with even European standards.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a little gem and the family who run it are friendly and spend time with their guests... there's a sociable bar and I only wish I had made the time to try the lunch when I'd skiied past as they are so close to the bottom lift in Borgata
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice, warm room, Very good buffet breakfast giving you energy for snowboarding/skiing. Owners were nice, friendly and helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, they speak English and gave us a lot of useful info on how to go out and about. Ski passes available for purchase from the hotel. Hotel is located within a 2-minute walk from the lifts to the mountains. Nice and cosy bar/lounge area in the hotel.
Cons: Too few restaurants nearby to go out. Hotel is located on the main street, so it was loud at night when people were passing by and in the morning when the snow was being cleared. No hot food served for breakfast. We requested a queen doubled bed, but were put in a room with two adjacent single beds.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I arrived very late and hadn't eaten and restaurants in the village were closed. The owner made me a plate of food, which was fantastic.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Frederica at the reception was particularly welcoming, helpful and nothing was too much trouble including making my daughters 7th birthday a little bit special. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The inclusive breakfast food was great with an option to buy additional items off the menu. The staff all spoke English and were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We had to wait a long time most days for drinks (coffee/tea) and they often ran out of cutlery and dishes/plates on the breakfast service. It was very noisy outside our room with a fire door slamming all the time which people used to get outside. None of the floors are carpeted which made if very noisy. Lots of children running about the corridors unsupervised in the evening.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with very attentive staff.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: I cannot really way that was anything that I didn’t like.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very Welcoming staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are wonderful at Shackleton. It’s great to visit an independent hotel that has all the qualities of global chain balanced with a family run business.
Cons: Beds are super comfy. Breakfast and restaurant food are superb coupled with a panoramic setting and fantastic service. The restaurant is one of the best in Sestriere. The added bonus of a pool and sauna on your door step after a short walk from the slopes. The hotel has a ski hire and locker 5m from the chair lift. I would highly recommend using this competitive ski hire outlet. Great location with parking. We will definitely return to this hotel.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Best location in sestriere. Friendly and helpful stuff. Nice but basic spa facilities. Ski storage. Overall best property I have tried in sestriere in the last 3 years
Cons: Very basic breakfast- most of it is just sweet stuff.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant staff all spoke English
Cons: Food beutifully presented, but low on taste.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Staff was very nice and friendly but they seemed very understaffed which meant that service was limited during breakfast.
Cons: Turkish steem bath stank a lot like mold, first whirlpool was broken/cold and then filled with water that also did not smell so nice Matras was very hard, plastic layered molton which made it very sweaty. Also the heating was permanently turned on very high in the room, not possible to turn it lower. Because the room was adjacent to the street it was not really a good option to open the windows. Coffee at breakfast was not hot, just a bit warm. Same for the eggs and bacon. However, the cappuccino ordered with the staff was very nice
4,6 Okay
Pros: Nice location in the centre of Sestriere, seconds away from the ski lift, all shops and restaurants
Cons: Since we arrived we were given wrong breakfast and spa timings. On top ofbthat out room didn’t have proper heating as corridor was warmer then the room. After complaining to front desk we were given another room but had to switch around noon (everybody is skiing from the morning), the room’s heating system was in better shape but you could feel the breeze from the windows at all times, heating is turned on only during specific time of the day and nobody at the hotel knows when! Before I booked I called and I was assured that there is wi-fi in all rooms, I stayed 7nights and it never worked when I asked to speak with manager he only apologised and said that is Italy and did not provide any solution, I was really upset as my internet bill was skyrocketing. Breakfast is decent but get reafy to be ignored by wait staff and wait for your espresso for 20 or sometimes even 30minutes. Bartender at so promoted bar doesn’t know the coctail, I order Negroni on two different occasions and both times was served without gin (classic coctail- 1/3 gin, 1/3 campari, 1/3 dark vermouth). Apart from location the hotel does not have anything to offer

Cons: Night portier does't speeks English.
5,7 Okay
Pros: The accomadation was surprisingly standard, despite the reviews I had read. We were all quite satisfied with everything.
Cons: It is a bit off the town center and the lifts. A pity there is no Wi-fi in the rooms.
7,3 Good
Pros: location, view, staff, market, laundry, Wi-fi connection
Cons: garage is very dark and tight parking spots (need better lighting system), access to master thru other bedroom and no windows in that bedroom
Hotel Savoy Edelweiss & Spa - Sestriere - Building

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Comfortable bed. Room was clean
Cons: Hotel room was a little dated
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff is super friendly and responsive. I got always the answers to my questions fast and promptly. The location is quite good, near to the village center. Also they have good collaboration with some of the ski rental places (discount of rental and deposit of skis). Small spa is good for relaxing after skiing.
Cons: The room was outdated. Bed was really uncomfortable as well as pillows. The bathroom did smell quite bad (mold/sewage). However our room was probably not the best in the hotel, so you might be more lucky with the room facilities. Breakfast is also slightly boring (especially if you're planning to stay several days). No facilities to dry the skiing boots and only small room to deposit the skis.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is excellent - within walking distance of ski lifts and close to cafes and restaurants. As the hotel has made arrangements with a ski hire/ locker place - Rosanna - it made the entire ski experience very pleasant. There is no need to trudge around with your skis and boots in the morning and evening. In fact, as you ski into the ski hire - there is often someone to greet you to help you out away your skis and boots. It is also very close to the communal pool/ spa place - if looking other than the spa offered at the hotel. The staff at the hotel are so very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much for them. They helped organised our transfer from the airport and helped make dinner bookings when asked. Breakfast was the standard fair - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, yoghurt and fruit salads. Enough to keep you going until lunch time. We had one dinner at the hotel - which we thought was quite good - with enough vegetarian options. The size of the hotel was also something we really liked - not too big that it becomes impersonal.
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location as very central. They have very little on site parking, but a massive parking area is just 2 mins walk from the hotel. Loads of discounts and perks are offered with partner restaurants and shops, and the hotel was able to recommend two amazing restaurants for noth our dinners, both offering 10 percent off. The beds were small but comfortable. The spa is rather small but very welcome after a long day on the slopes. You are within walking distance to everything really from here.
Cons: The hotel itself is a bit dated in some areas. But the bathrooms for example had been refurbed recently. We had an awful smell coming from the bathroom, that the following morning was dealt with promptly. Breakfast was very average (my Italian partner's comments)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Host was extremely nice and helpful!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice stuff, kindness
Cons: All was good
7,5 Good
Pros: The owner "Renzo" was a really nice person. He helped us a lot to get to know the city and everyone knew him in the town. If you tell the restaurants in vicinity that you are a guest at this hotel, you will receive 10 percent discount on the meal. If you want to know something I suggest you to just ask Renzo, he will help you as much as he can.
Cons: - The hotel doesn't have any bidet, it was my first time in Italy I couldn't find a bidet in a hotel - The room didn't have any fridge, it's not a big problem while Renzo can keep everything for you, but I like to have my own fridge at the room
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The quality of the food at dinner was good the pasta dishes were very good.
Cons: The sound proofing between the rooms was nonexistent. The bed was uncomfortable. The distance from the pistes was to far a ten minute walk however lockers were available near the piste to store ski equipment. Thee were no on site spa facilities.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location that was a 5 min walk to the main square, and 10 mins downhill to the main lift. Regular bus back from ski area that takes 3 mins (or a 15 min uphill walk). The manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit dated but fine

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely wonderful experience! This hotel is amazing for any ski lovers! Incredible location. Peaceful. Great view. Great service. The ride in snowmobile is also a great bonus.
7,9 Good
Pros: You use this hotel for thrills not frills. You go for the location. The dining room is fabulous, the food is wholesome and plentiful. Rooms are comfortable if a little warm. The location and access to the hill for that first run in the morning are what makes it.
Cons: The hotel is isolated. The hotel could make more of that with greater effort to help the guests connect with each other in their mountain top retreat. A more social dinner organisation, perhaps with a big table dinner once or twice in a week, when the skidoo guests are not there, would be one way to achieve this.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nice location, but onso isolated. You’re completely isolated. Ok for two days, but surely not for longer.
Cons: Hot water is a big problem, especially in the evening, when you want to take a shower after a day of skiing !! The kitchen uses most of the heated water, so no warm water left for the guests... Also the heating in the rooms was below average. Our room could not be heated above 18 degrees, quite cold I’d say. The boss is a stressless nice man though...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location is like a fairytale. You have to realize that once you ski down the only way to come back is by skilift or snowscooter. Massimo and his staff are very friendly .
Cons: Nothing

Pros: This is a great apartment. Cosy, comfy, clean and well equipped. Host is amazing. So lovely. Our Italian is non-existent and she helped us book restaurants and taxis :) The apartment has a ski locker and is only about 200m from a bubble providing access to the whole Milky Way area. It's a short walk (about 10 mins) up the hill to the main town for restaurants and bars in the evening, but the kitchen is also well equipped if you want to eat in.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a very nice, spacious and cosy appartment situated in the quiet area, but at the same time very close to the lifts and city center. The kitchen very well equipped, private balcony with spactacular view of the mountains and ski slopes. A private car park available :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: For a ski resort in summer Sestriere was excellent. The winter sports infra structure was not too intrusive. There was easy access to walks direct from our apartment. Excellent centre for both road and mountain biking.

Pros: The food was excellent and staff very friendly and accommodating particularly the dining room team.
Cons: Dining room downstairs was cold as was the Bar and Reception area.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, close to village and skilifts. Very friendly staff.
6,3 Good
Pros: 1. Excellent location 2. Price 3. Rooms view. 4. Sebastian ( factotum guy) very friendly and helpful.
Cons: 1. Breaks fast is inadequate and poor for a 4*. Especially for a ski destination the breakfast shall be the best offering. 2. Receptionist staff is ok, but not very smiling. 3. We checked out one day earlier and they did not even asked why....
8,3 Excellent
Pros: location, atmosphere, food
Cons: spa was not for kids
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, breakfast and especially the coffee bar were exceptional. Nice evening entertainment and very cool hanging fireplace. Cozy lobby and clean rooms.
Cons: There is a nearby nightclub/disco. We normally use our "white noise" apps to drown out normal hotel noise, but the bass from the nearby disco penetrated our white noise and all 4 of us were unable to sleep through it. Disco hours were until 2:30 or 3 am, so this was our only challenge. Otherwise, the staff, facilities and food were all great.

4,2 Okay
Pros: Nothing!
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Honestly, nothing about the hotel
Cons: The hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right across the slopes, with the option to ski in Sestriere or take the cable car to go towards SanSicario and Sauze. With 6-day ski pass, you can also go and ski to Montgenevre in France (we managed to do via ski in a day!). We stayed in a double room apartment, lots of great space and views of the mountains. The staff’s kindness was amazing, right from check-in, Caterina in particular was very helpful to us as we arrived later in the evening. We loved the food, we opted for half board option and we enjoyed a great selection of food every night. The starter, mains and desserts were so good. Also you had pizza available every night for any fussy eater. Special mention to the maitre d’ at the restaurant, the chef and overall all the staff, very attentive and kind with the guests and very efficient in keeping the tables clean. You can rent skis on site and there are ski rooms just below your room. We had an amazing one-week holiday at the Villaggio Olimpico. We took advantage of the various facilities, including a game room with pool table, fussball tables and table tennis. We read some negative reviews, which slightly concerned before arriving. Instead, our experience was overall very positive. We had a lovely family holiday at this resort and we will most likely come back. We highly recommend as great ski holiday!
Cons: We stayed in block D, not far away from reception. As other reviews mentioned, the corridor to reception is quite cold, that is the only thing that we would suggest to improve.
7,0 Good
Pros: Apartment was good size
Cons: Although we were self-catering and had a small kitchen not easy to cook a meal. 2 Hobs and microwave/grill Room was not cleaned during stay or rubbish removed
5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is good value for money and is well located - just by the apres and also by the gondola
Cons: The staff were inredibly rude, the food options were not great. Breakfast really bland and beige - not a lot of healthier choices. Staff had a few gos at us for no reason.
7,0 Good
Pros: The weather.
Cons: The fact that inside the flat the division between the rooms ( walls ) didn’t reach the ceiling so any noise ( a young child waking at night ) woke up the whole flat.
