Pros: Loved that my room overlooked PCH. Loved that the motel was across the street from a live music venue/bar, and close to convince stores. I also melted into the comfy bed.

A flat-screen TV with cable is featured in all guest rooms at Rest Haven Motel. Each simply furnished room comes with a small refrigerator. Rest Haven Motel Santa Monica is 8 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. Third Street Promenade is less than one mile away.

Cons: This place is a filthy nightmare, desk clerk looked like a method head. the ceiling leaked the floors were stained the linens were stained there was obviously an infestation of cockroaches and ants this place should be condemned it is unfit for anyone much less a paying hotel guests the worst hotel I have ever seen and I stayed in hotels in Cambodia

Pros: I liked the sign prohibiting prostitution.
Cons: Except for fresh sheets and towels, the room had not been cleaned recently. The door handle and door were grimy and the tile floor was dirty. Upholstered chair was stained and leather ottoman was dirty. Sometimes simple unadorned rooms and simple motels like this can be fine, when they are clean and don't smell awful. My impression is these people just aren't trying.
