Summary of reviews

Guests say
Most guests appreciated the hotel's central location, friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable beds, often highlighting good value for the price. However, there were frequent complaints about the breakfast quality, lack of air conditioning, noise, parking difficulties, and safety concerns in the surrounding area. Cleanliness and amenities received mixed feedback, with some guests noting issues like unpleasant smells and outdated rooms, while others found the rooms clean and the wifi reliable. Overall, the hotel is considered a good value for its location, but improvements are needed in breakfast, parking, and neighborhood safety.

Pros (+) The coffee, beds, and showers were all nice.
Cons (-) There was no A/C as described. The vent made super weird noises. The Ceiling fan turns off ever half an hour at night which was incredibly obnoxious. Also did not feel incredibly secure - and the tv randomly turned on one morning while I was still sleeping.

Cons (-) Parking is $35/night, which is about ⅓ of the cost of the room. Be aware of this if driving.

Pros (+) Great price for downtown, and 19 minute walk through Union Square.
