Casa do Amarelindo - Salvador - Building

9,5 Excellent (553 reviews)
R2 095+
Overview Reviews

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nice, clean and the staff friendly and helfull. The hotel has some reception staff able to speak english and spanish. My room was in the 3rt floor (number IX) had a confortable bed, with good quality of pillows. Tv and wifi are both available in all rooms. Good room service and a nice restaurant in the first floor. The hotel is located in a historical part of the city. If you prefer a beach hotel, you can stay in the modern part of the city and visit the old town in a half day tour. Churches and oldbulding are really nice and look like a small old Lisbon. The Salvador´s old town is safe enough taking the normal precautions. In many streets are police officers protecting tourists. You can take some private tours but is cheaper if you join to a "colective tour" with some of the many agencies located around the San Francisco Church and main square. I went to Guarajuba beach with "Cassi turismo". The bus was a modern and clean one and the service was cheap and basic but you have 2 or 3 hours alone to enjoy a beach day.
Cons: In my opinion the breakfast could be better. is enough to start the day but the coffe was served in a small thermo and was almost cold, and the bread was too soft. It could be far better if breakfast included free toasts and scrambled eggs for each guest.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautifully renovated with spacious rooms and a wonderful outlook over the bay.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast difficult as one guy serving all tables in rotation. Two glasses of juice not necessary. A lot of bread and cakes. A small buffet would be so much better where you could help yourself to food you wanted e.g. more fruit less carbs. Location amazing, couldn’t be better! Great staff, friendly, helpful, charming.
Cons: Breakfast (see above)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the heart of the historic centre. Staff are extremely helpful from restaurant bookings, buying theatre tickets, arranging trips , general advice etc and speaking excellent English. Lovely roof top bar and swimming pool area with fabulous views. Despite being at the front of the hotel no noise/music from the street outside was heard.
Cons: Wish I’d booked a room at the back of the hotel with a view over the bay!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Unsurpassable location in a pedestrianised [except for airport transfer] street. A short walking distance from all of the main city centre sights. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Great rooftop top with a pool and stunning views. And a massive set breakfast that will keep you going all day---if you want to leave room for lunch or supper do not have all of the breakfast. A very happening bar [on some nights--Tuesday in my case] across the street!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed for seven nights during Copa America and highly recommend Casa do Amerilindo. The area of Pelourinho is small but the hotel is in a very safe location. The room and decor was very nice and the bathroom has a wonderful rain shower. The location was perfectly situated on a main Street with performers appearing right outside the hotel. (The rooms are sound proofed so you won't be disturbed by any noise if you want to sleep in). Beautiful views of the bay but it rained daily so I didn't take any meals on the terrace. However, the best part of my visit was the staff. Luis the front desk receptionist is a lovely man who was incredibly helpful, genuine and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. Adam offered lots of tips on getting around and always greeted guests with a smile. Both Luis and Adam speak impeccable English and Spanish. The dining room staff was very professional and the dinner options are quite good.
Cons: I loved everything but I wish breakfast had more variety.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent room with views. Beautiful decoration. Polite staff.
Cons: The service could be much better. It would be nice if they could recognize and understand some needs of customer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing - friendly, helpful, and engaging. Can't beat the location, just a block from the main square. The food and service in the restaurant are also great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We made a last minute booking as our plans changed and we found ourselves in Salvador for an extra night. The location was great, in a lovely part of the city. The staff were so kind and our room and the hotel facilities exceeded expectations. The restaurant was also great, we really enjoyed our dinner and the breakfast. We loved our stay here!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel. Best location and great restaurant. Didn’t want to leave.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The chef, the terrace, entire staff from kitchen, and wait staff, front desk, everyone with a nice vibe and smile. Loved it.
Cons: I would have Lille’s an extra outlet for charging our devices. Had to unplug the bedside lamp.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful old building with lots of character. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Faint plumbing smell in room (Guinė). Not a lot of soundproofing (phone calls to the reception woke me up), which is of course expected in this type of building.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property in excellent location. Rooms were stunning and the place has a great feel to it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Arrived to the hotel at 10am and they allowed early check in free of charge. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Had a very early flight the next morning and they prepared a breakfast for me before meeting my Uber driver. Would definitely recommend and stay with them again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Beautiful building and room, fantastic location, wonderful staff and brilliant breakfast. Aircon and wifi both excellent and steps away from everything in the old town. bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and tasty great vAriety
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is an absolutely stellar hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The historic hotel environment is like a museum. The whole hotel is filled with gorgeous antiques. The restaurant is utterly beautiful and the food incredibly special.
Cons: Everything was simply perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were a real asset to the hotel. The decor and restoration of a couple of old houses was done sensitively and tastefully. Our room Madagascar was magnificent. It was on the main square. I suggest if you want a quiet room you got to the back of the building although the street music does stop at 10pm.
Cons: The bar prices were high. The laundry was too expensive. The bread could be fresher, and breakfast became boring after a few days. Our bathroom needed some attention and could have been cleaner.

Definitely worth it for a night or two of luxury! There are some nice restaurants in Itapua that aren't too far away. Close to SSA airport.

Pros: The boutique hotel feel, fantastic location, cleanliness, breakfast and security with rooms having a safe.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast. Perfect location. Welcoming and very friendly staff.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great property, a lovely aesthetic which really captures the essence of Salvador. Staff were on hand to help us with any requirements, going above and beyond what was necessary to make sure that we had a safe stay and got to our next destination in the best way possible. Breakfast was outstanding, a plethora of choices abounded from the kitchen - we highly recommend the french toast, mango and cakes!
Cons: Checking in late at night (1am) was slightly uncomfortable, we had to wait for approx 10 minutes for a member of staff to let us in. Although not the longest period of time, it being Salvador and on a main square, you do feel vulnerable being exposed with all of your belongings.
7,5 Good
Pros: Delicious breakfast. Especially enjoyed the passionfruit, and custard filled cakes!
Cons: Needed a bit more information re what was on in town while we were there. We should have asked more questions abour this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of Salvador.. Just few steps to pelourinho... Very friendly and clean.. We where with children and everything was fine! Breakfast is good!
Cons: Nothing...
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The receptionists can speak English and even Italian (not so common in Brasil). They proposed us a tour to Praia do Forte, with an independent local guide who speaks 5 languages (English, French, Italian, German and Spanish), that we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast was very good The hotel has a spa, we tried a a relaxing massage which was well executed.
Cons: We were not told about the presence of common areas (equipped with sofas and pool table)

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful great sized rooms with great decor Interesting quirky hotel
Cons: Although the location is good for seeing the historic part of Salvador during the day it does seem to get a bit dangerous round there at night so be careful (as with most places in Salvador)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was always excellent, with a variety of different options and jucies each morning, the room is very pleasant with a view onto the main square, and the breakfast staff was lovely
Cons: I wish we had been warned to be extra cautious in the streets next to and behind the hotel, nearly got assaulted on one occasion

7,9 Good
Pros: Staff kindess
Cons: Bit old structure
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast is regional and with good variety. The staff is friendly.
Cons: The check-in is too bureaucratic. I'd prefer fill my data by my own, instead of answer questions. The hotel is nice, but need a modernization. The things seems a bit run down. The bed could be king size, the double bed it's just too small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything in the hotel is perfect. I liked the view that one could have from his window and the big variety of foods for breakfast the most. The space for eating breakfast was great and also the space near the swimming pool. We didn't even have time to explore all the facilities!
7,5 Good
Pros: Great breakfast!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern clean hotel with huge heated pool outside and good gym and spacious rooms with view over city Totally delicious breakfast Good value Not in old centre but easy to get there by taxi or Uber and a welcome relax during our trip in Brazil
Cons: Loved it all
5,4 Okay
Pros: The view from the balcony (13th floor) was really nice! Nice welcome with some local cookies at arrival. Room had a nice, if somewhat dated, design. Possibility to store luggage due to early arrival before the room was ready. Good breakfast with plenty of options.
Cons: Neither the A/C nor the safety box was working. Due to the temperature and humidity sleep was really bad. The english instruction for the safety box was not alligned with how the safe actually seemed to work - not possible to set new code. The non working safety box meant we needed to carry with us all the valuables each time leaving the room. Plenty of road works ongoing in vicinity of hotel - so add a few minutes on planned transportation times if arriving/departing by car.

Pros: Gym was great Breakfast was great Room excellent size Checkin easy Location great Quiet area
Cons: Pool although it may looks great on photos. Really it’s just paddling pool, far too small for a hotel of this size.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I like the nice design of the hotel, decoration of bedroom not depressing for once! Very nice staff and very clean. They changed sheets everyday and towels are pretty new and soft. Very large shower and good air conditioning.
Cons: Breakfast is boaring, only one lift seems to work and is dark so little hard to see the numbers. Tv channels can’t be change to English language, no one ! That’s annoying considering that is a tourist and business hotel. Location not very interesting but we found a very good supermarket with lots of European products that we never seen in previous days in Salvador .

Pros: Breakfast was the only good thing. there was a good variety of fruit, salty and sweet things. the lady responsible was nice and sweet.
Cons: the hotel is old and not well maintained. we were near a room that was under refurbish and there was a horrible smell of paint all around. it is true that it is in front of the beach but the area did not look safe to move around
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant . I'm laying in bed watching the surf before partaking of the superb breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and right on the beach in the Barra neighborhood. Within easy walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants, the mall and a supermarket. We had a spectacular view of the beach and the lighthouse from our balcony. Breakfast each morning had a ton of options and was delicious. Staff really went above and beyond for customer service - one of our bags never made it to our destination and was stuck in the São Paulo airport, and staff helped us call the airlines multiple times to figure out the situation. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pros: The staff were great, the situation very good, beautiful views from the room. Huge spread for breakfast
Cons: Only one small thig, the breakfast was great the the "hot dishes" were cold
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The Barra beach in front of the hotel is great and the ladies who prepare the breakfast are really kind.
Cons: I asked by e-mail a calm room in front of the beach and when I arrived they gave me a horrible and noisy room with a small view to the sea. I had to pay more to have a better room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, location, the staff is awesome, all of them.
Cons: The toilet not flush property and also the toilet paper need to place inside the trash instead inside the toilet.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect and the rooms are nice and with a good view.
Cons: The only thing that I didn't like was that was no hot water in the bathroom. I don't know if it's like this always or there was some problems, but nobody explained us anything about It.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and comfy rooms with a beautiful view of the historic center, breakfast was good, staff helpful, we felt secure, would stay here again
Cons: The seating area for breakfast was a bit too small for all the guests (we probably went to eat all at the same time)
6,3 Good
Pros: At first a friendly impression and the staff did its best to get our room ready when we arrived at 11:20. Beautiful view, clean pool and good terrace. Decent breakfast.
Cons: Our room was too far from reception so we didn’t have wifi in the room. Had a problem with our shower, then had no water at all from the tab. We were offered another room but with one bed, so slept in one room and showered in the other. Air conditioning was too loud so had to sleep with the window open (which was also a bit loud...) Disappointing experiencing since we had such a great experience in Salvador the night before, for just a couple of €’s extra...
7,9 Good
Pros: It’s a cozy Inn located only few hundred meters down the road from where it’s all happening. The bed rooms are functional. Breakfast is good and a big bonus is the onsite parking.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Claudio at reception has a real passion for the city and a profound knowledge of its surroundings and happenings.
Cons: Getting in and out of pelourinho from the pousada is very close, but not so safe.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Really beautiful view from many of the rooms with shared balcony. Safe place and nice pool area.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were phenomenal, especially Claudio who gave us a detailed colour coded map of area with tips on sights, museums, places to eat and safety. He recommended a brilliant churriscaria. We were able to avail of the facilities, pool and shower after check out. The caipirinhas served by the pool were super too. Claudio went above and beyond his role of manager and helped us resolve an issue we had with a flight. He is a consummate professional who truly cares about his guest's experience at the hotel and Brazil.
Cons: The rooms were basic but good value for money.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great for the price. Well located withing walking distance from Salvador shopping. Good internet.
Cons: Sometimes the elevator does not read the card. Shower too close to the door. Those are minor things though.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed is comfortable and the room is big
Cons: It was not clean, it’s far away from downtown, the breakfast is not good and they don’t even give a free bottle of water
5,8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was pretty good. And the bedroom is cozy and spacious.
Cons: There was a party on the rooftop bar, open to the general public (non-guests), that really bothered the guests. There was shouting and loud noises, atendees had unrestricted access to the hotel floors and the common areas were really dirty during and after the party. We were only informed about the event when I was not allowed to enter the swimming pool (also on the rooftop).
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, just 5 min walk to a huge shopping mall where you could find everything. Service from hotel staff was excellent, always very friendly and provided great recommendations for tours of the city and surroundings. The sky lounge at the rooftop is an amazing place to have a drink or relax with a wonderful view of the city. Room very comfortable and spacious.
Cons: Wifi signal in the room was not always the best, you had to move a lot within the room to find a good spot to get signal. Desk in my room was a bit old and damaged, but very small details, my stay overall was very pleasant.
7,9 Good
Pros: Breakfast is great! Bed is comfortable and nice, room is spacious. Hotel is easily reached from everywhere, we used Uber all the time. Very close to a big shopping mall (walking distance) that has shops, supermarket and restaurants.
Cons: Water in the shower does not drain properly so there is always water on the floor (room in 22nd floor). I have reported this on the first day but it seems there is nothing they can do other than mop it during daily cleaning of the room. The last couple of days, toilet has also same draining problems. Key cards were not working a couple of times while staying there.

Pros: The staff
Cons: The aminities

5,8 Okay
Pros: nice and cozy place. Helpful staff
Cons: Room had no balcony as promised. Extremely noisy all night during weekend as nightclub close by. Had to change hotel as they could not offer better room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location Very nice staff Beautifully renovated colonial house
Cons: Too much light in the room in the morning! This makes it difficult to sleep
7,5 Good
Pros: The gent at the front desk was very nice - extremely cool, calm and super-helpful. He also made a phonecall for me, to translate in portugues. The breakfast was real good. The renovated colonial house is very charming.
Cons: I don’t know the other rooms, but mine was real bad: No sight out the window. Just a wall and the neighbour’s air condition, which ran all through the night, very noisy. The AC in my room did not really work and was shot off after a while. I usually don‘t need AC. But with the neighbour‘s AC it was impossible to let the window open. At 6 am started the kitchen‘s noise at the other side. I recommend: Don‘t take room 348 in the ground floor!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the coolest neighborhood of Salvador - Rio Vermelho. Best bars and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. Rooms are comfortably set in a beautiful old house refurbished with a new pavilion. Breakfast is great and staff is very kind. Second time here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salvador.
Cons: They do miss a swimming pool to relax after long walks in downtown Salvador over Bahia's sun and heat.
6,7 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good, and the service was good too
Cons: The bed was hard as a rock, and the pillows were as thin as paper. The AC was older than myself, and we had to leave it on the whole day to keep the room cold at night.
7,9 Good
Pros: The room was big and comfortable . After our complain the manager granted 1 night discount on one room.
Cons: The room had a safe but we had to ask for the lock as at check in they din't provide it. We booked 2 rooms and when we came back in the evening one of the rooms hadn't been cleaned and the beds were not made, while in the other one all towels were missing. We complained and reported it immediately at reception. They apologized and said something but couldn't understand it as they spoke only portuguese. The next day at check out we were asked to pay the whole amount of the reservation, it seemed that the receptionist dindn't know what had happened. We complained again and asked for a discount, which was ganted

Pros: The location was great, staff on the whole were friendly and went out of their way to help me with restaurant recommendations.
Cons: Didn’t get the welcome drink, I had to ask them to switch the twin room into a double room. I’m sure that I paid for the room already but they insisted I had to pay. The breakfast wasn’t too good. Not many non meat options, not much variety.

Pros: Overall the hotel is good. Staff is helpfull and pleasant. Beautiful inside garden/lounge. Nice views and good location.
Cons: Cleanliness of staff could be better. If you stay at the top floor becareful if you wish to sleep in the morning. Pool machinery at the roof top very noisy.

7,9 Good
Pros: Location, Beds, the view. Friendly staff (that speak English).
Cons: The toilet seat in the public bathroom was broken.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our time at Zank Hotel. It is a very beautiful hotel, quiet and relaxed atmosphere and very kind and friendly staff!! We stayed four nights in this hotel, the rooms are clean and original, each room having a different decoration - we had a great view on the beach (which I completely recommend to go to as situated 3 minutes walk from the hotel and a very quiet beach). The hotel also offers massages - I totally recommend the AYURVEDIC massage, amazing! Also, they offered a sailing boat trip, which we really enjoyed doing one full day with the family to visit some islands around Salvador - I also recommend taking this trip, even though it seems a little expensive at first it is very much worth it!! Great time, great place and great staff! Thank you!
Cons: I would maybe say that the wait during lunch or diner can be long - but then it is Bahia and we were still getting used to the fact that it is how it is there :)
4,2 Okay
Cons: Very noisy room and not well maintained

Cons: Everything went great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything about This hotel, very clean, nice staffs very friends.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant breakfast. Loads of choice and Marcelo was excellent! Full of personality and very patient. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Shower was powerful and always hot. Location was great. Close to beaches and nice safe walk to lighthouse. Sauna/steam room was great but wasnt working all the time.n
Cons: Language barrier was hard at times as very few staff had any English. Marcelo was by far the best and made a fab omelette too! We were given a welcome drink voucher but we charged for the drinks upon check out. I'm putting this down to language barrier as no one could explain why we were being charged. We ordered room service one evening and it took over an hour and a half to arrive. We regretted not just going down stairs to get it ourselves. Fridge in room was quite noisy but we just plugged that out.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and the breakfast were good and the lobby was very good (spacious and well maintained). They had a viewing room for the World Cup games. The view of the beach was good.
Cons: When I booked, the booking said Wifi was available everywhere and free. When I got there it wasn't free in the rooms (only in the lobby) but I was told that since I used Booking.com (via Kayak), it would be free. I had to go every night and have them give me access to wifi in the room (instead of providing it for my 5 days in one shot). They tried to charge me for it at the end of the stay but I didn't pay for it writing a note explaining that my booking confirmation stated it was for free. The location was not too safe at night.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful and delicious. The beddings were comfortable and smelled good.
Cons: The TV is a little bit small than what I expected.
6,7 Good
Pros: The hotel was in an incredible location- close to beaches, an amazing view, and close to nice healthy restaurants, shops and salons. Location was quiet and private at the same time. Perfect for a getaway from the busy night life and tourism in Salvador without feeling too secluded.
Cons: Facilities need a serious upgrade to continue its status as a higher end hotel. Water should be provided complementary and 24/7 in the lobby and gym. It is a shame myself and another guest were shamed by some of the serving staff for filling our water bottles up at breakfast when that was the only time we could obtain potable drinking water without paying some outrageous fee. Air conditioning also broke and hotel staff handled the situation amazing but in the second room we were placed into, there was little differences in temperature control.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: very big room ; very good shower ; very broad variety at breakfast
6,3 Good
Cons: Gym outdated and broken equipment. Understaffed for number of guests. Services could be better for a 4 star hotel.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is great!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: - Great restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and diner as a buffet, with large choice of fruits, meat/fish, starters and drinks! - Great bar with relatively good coffee - Reasonable pool, not that crowded - Cleaning ladies very accomodating! - Personnel allowed me to stay in my room after check out to work before my late-night flight
Cons: - Very few personnel who speaks English... Use Google Translate!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to colonial center in a relaxed and safe location
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Smart hotel with gorgeous rooms
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff and hotel. The breakfast is amazing!! Interior design and home decoration, home design decor and decorating, are really exceptional and time seems to be stopped here. It feels like there's a spiritual touch in the room and it has no value. I highly recommend and will go back there :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Just a short walk from the historic city centre, this is a real boutique hotel find. It’s tiny and cozy, staff are very charming. Breakfast is fantastic! The old city is tired but beautiful, very vibrant with lots of music and dancing (at the weekend at least), bars and restaurants to hang out in. Apparently it is not that safe at night but during the day and weekend evenings it was fine for us with teenagers and sticking together
Cons: Naughty Aram recommended a bit of a duff restaurant so lesson learned - just use the so called internet...! Still I don’t blame them and definitely this place is a find
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Amazing building and atmosphere, loved the bar and the cozy chairs outside.
Cons: Breakfast choices (esp to order) not very impressive. Room smaller than pictured.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: The hotel could fix the bathroom doors to ensure full privacy.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is perfect in the heart of the old city The place is very atmospheric with a lovely central courtyard and pool, and the rooms are gorgeous but dark. Front desk staff so helpful to make the stay good and enjoyable
Cons: We arrived late at night to find that we didn't have the room for 3 we had booked but only for 2 and couldnt add a bed. The desk staff were very helpful and luckily found us the last room available but it seems they never got my booking emails via booking.com Place is meant to be shabby chic but is a bit more shabby than chic in some parts Dining room staff poor and breakfast OK but nothing special No filtered dri king water facility
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beautiful peaceful historic building. Fabulous location. Wonderful helpful staff . Would highly recommend it. In the cultural part of Salvador .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property is simply lovely - character filled and a delight to be in. The staff were wonderful. The pool was great. There were monkeys that came and visited for breakfast each morning. The location is also great - 5 min walk into main square (steep walk).
Cons: It’s a huge old building and they can’t keep all of it in impeccable condition. The breakfast is not good. The spa is not really a spa but you are not there for that!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Historical location and building
Cons: Some aspects of the rooms need upgrading

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing about this place was good...
Cons: The towels stank.. the room service was horrible.. the room smell bad. The bed was the worst, they put two single beds together and called it a queen, but it kept splitting apart.. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE.....
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: old furniture very dirty without manitnace
Cons: the view the location
9,0 Excellent
Pros: the beach area was a lot of fun. the hotel is located in a safe area. the people and staff are very nice. great place to stay with kids.
Cons: the wifi is not good.
6,3 Good
Pros: Water front location with access and near major tourist attractions
Cons: The hotel is old and it showed. Poor lightning in room and hallways. Two of the 3 elevators were broken and had to walk the 12 flights. Arcane water facets in bathroom needed instructions to practically operate. TV language was set to Portuguese that included the subtitle. Requested desk to send someone to correct to English subtitles but no one showed. Breakfast buffet selection was boring at best. Would not repeat a stay unless absolutely nothing else was available
7,1 Good
Pros: Best location in Salvador...
Cons: The stuff are not prepared to work in a amazing place like this. Besides, what they say that are included when we book, they tray to charge after and say that was a misunderstanding.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The hotel is a little bit old
3,5 Mediocre
Pros: I did not like
Cons: the elevator was broken, the hangers and the air cooled too.
5,4 Okay
Pros: We arrived at the time of the carnival and therefore the entire street was secured by the police and felt safe. The descent to the sea by an indoor cable car and the bathing area is very nice. The beachfront restaurant is also very good.
Cons: The fact that despite the high price must pay for internet in the rooms. The double bed is made up of two single beds and therefore not comfortable for a couple's sleep. The safe is broken. The air conditioner was old and did not work well, so we managed to change rooms, and that was after a day and a half wait
5,8 Okay
Pros: The hotel has everything going for it except cleanliness.
Cons: Extremely dirty. The pool had plastic bags in it. Nothing appeared to have been cleaned in a long time. If it were clean this would be a great place to stay. It’s a great pity.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great view!
Cons: It needs an update.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Nothing other than location.
Cons: It was like walking in to the 60's as nothing has been replaced or maintained properly. Rooms and common areas not clean. Expect more for the amount you pay.
