Pros: I loved that the central part of the hotel was a restored 19th century mansion; it gave the place a lovely ambiance. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast offered--a full Bahian experience!

Pros: A dear friend recommended this hotel - it is a beautifully remodeled building reminiscent of traditional colonial homes. The tile work throughout is amazing. It has two small, charming patios, a lovely reception area, and a delightful breakfast room. We stayed in a two-level apartment with handsome wooden stairs and furniture that was quite comfortable. The staff were absolutely marvelous.

Pros: The whole place is very well taken care of, the veranda is beautiful, room and bathroom clean, the air conditioning is quiet. All the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast has a big variety and everything tasted so good. For me the location was perfect because the neighborhood is safer than more touristy parts of the city. The beach is only a short walk away, there are shops in the area and everything else can easily be reached by Uber.

Pros: Welcoming snacks were a lovely little touch, staff were nice and wanted to go out of the way to help where they could. Outside seating area was lovely too, its centrally located but away from the hustle and bustle.
Cons: The check in took rather a long time. Also when checking out the guy didn't have change and then eventually short changed me, couldn't be bothered with the hassle but was also complicated due to language barrier.

Pros: Staff was excellent for service and presentation.
Cons: The only disappointing part of the stay was the air conditioner in the room. They need to change out the thermostat for one which allows the fan to be in auto mode. The fan was always on and even at low setting, this made sleeping completely uncomfortable with air drafts. The bathroom also had no exhaust fan which lead to moist and moldy smelling/looking bathroom

Cons: The surrounding neighborhood is not the typical touristy area. Locals informed me it’s a rough neighborhood after dark and best not to stay out or wander the streets late at night.
