Situated in the heart of Rosslare Harbour, Clifford House B & B features landscaped gardens overlooking the sea and free on-site parking. The ferry port is just a 2-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is provided in each room at Clifford House, as well as an en suite bathroom and a TV. Tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and a hairdryer are also included. All rooms are located on the ground floor. Tea or coffee with homemade cake and biscuits are provided on arrival. Guests can also relax in the reading lounge or TV room which overlook the sea. An extensive breakfast menu is on offer each morning, with full Irish options, homemade brown bread and pancakes included. Homemade jams, marmalades and fish are also available. The beach can be reached in a 2-minute walk and a scenic cliff-top walk adjacent to the property will take you to local cafés, pubs, restaurants and shops. Wexford town centre is just under a 20-minute drive away.

Pros: Great location for catching the ferry from Rosslare to Pembroke. Spacious family room with 2 double beds and a single bed with en-suite. Family room is separate from main house which is great! Very quiet and TV in room. Have the use of 2 lounges as well which was lovely. Tea and coffee and biscuits left in the room which was a lovely touch! Thank Breakfast was delicious and freshly made to order, whatever you wanted. you very much!

Pros: Great location for staying if you're going on the ferry: it's within walking distance. However, I'd gladly stay for a holiday too. Very nice views, wonderful garden, sweet little walks from the back garden and lovely breakfast too. Close to the beach too, and you wouldn't even know you're right next to the port.

Pros: Our room was total luxury and I can not fault it. Breakfast was a fantastic experience but is only served between 8.30and 9.30 and there's no provision to order it to your room. Set on a working farm it is totally rural with fantastic countryside.

Pros: Loved everything! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we loved every second. It was a family get away for my sisters 30th. We had a Manor room and the dolls house. Both offering a home from home feeling. The Manor house rooms are fabulous, spacious and luxurious, a real treat. The dolls house is full of character, bigger than expected, I just wish I booked to stay two nights to make the most of it. A great get away for family or friends. We were welcomed and felt welcome at all times, Betty and Michael were so helpful and amazing hosts, couldn't do enough for you down to earth couple. Honestly couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Great peaceful location, great accommodation and breakfast. Amazing hosts, we will definitely be back for all of the above reasons.

Cons: We must wait 2 hours before check-in at 4pm. We were only allowed to check in at 2pm. The owner lady was not friendly at all only giving commands and strict straight forward. When checking out there was no "good by" or "safe journey" - because she was more interested in the new clients just arrived to check in at 11 am (NOT 4pm). The containers in the shower for shampoo and soap were absolutely empty. The breakfast offered was below standard: only toast, coffee or tea, 2 fried eggs, ham instead of the offered bacon, half tomato (Irish breakfast without sausage, beans, black pudding etc).

During the eveningI enjoyed the peace and privacy of my room and made full use of an excellent internet connection. In the morning I preceded my first-rate, fried breakfast with a glass of fruit juice (There was a choice of at least three), and followed it with a good brew of fresh tea.

Pros: We arrived on Sunday afternoon. It was very busy but the staff were excellent. We had food in the bar and it was very good quality if a little expensive. The rooms are spotless and nicely decorated. We also availed of the leisure facilities which are also very good.
Cons: Dublin prices at the bar!? Our room faced the main road, and as a result was extremely noisy. This could be minimised with double/ treble glazed windows.

Pros: Food was exceptional. I had the breakfast buffet both mornings I stayed just to try and get as much of the choice that was available. Ate in La Marine both nights, and although pricey, you're paying for quality cooking. Location is stunning, staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable.
Cons: Rooms are a little pricier than the norm, but I imagine that's because of the vast number of facilities on site, you're paying for the convenience, location and choice.

The room was a great size and the ensuite bathroom was spacious, modern, and clean. John, our host, was wonderful. He had all sorts of suggestions for local meals and even helped us map out our travel the next day through the Wicklow Mountains and offered suggestions for our Dublin stay. He took a very personal interest on our visit -- and that was lovely.
Cons: Mattresses need an upgrade. Floors -- old pine - are very creaky, so light sleepers might be disturbed.

Great power shower! Around the corner (literally) from Pembrook Harbour, a great convenience for those of us catching the early morning ferry. Will definitely stay again on my next trip when travelling by ferry. Highly recommend!

He recommended a pizzeria and chippy about 10 minutes walk away in Kilrane that was great for an evening meal. There is a pub in the same village so good all round.
