I dont think I have experienced anything like this before. The first night was fine. Except that the aircon wasnt strong enough and we were extremely hot. We later find out the next evening why this was. We arrived home from dinner on the Saturday night where the room stank of sewage. The porter came up and informed us that the filter hadnt been changed and we would need to move rooms...at midnight. We were relocated to a disabled room on the first floor facing the main road with amenities for only one person. There was no bedside table, plug and only one towel. To stay that nights stay was poor is an understatement.
Not close to the center as the hotel projected.
Room was in the back of the hotel and was very hot. It was as if we were in a basement. Nothing like the description. I would not recommend! Embarrassed as I thought this would be an accommodating stay which is why I spent the extra money to stay here however it was completely opposite.
Location is great. Breakfast and staff were very good. 7 minutes away from the hop on hop off bus stop.
No close vendors nearby. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the closest one. Which was fine. When you enter the hotel from the street you need to take the stairs to the receiption. There is an elevator but not directly in front of you.
The hotel was modern in design.
The location wasn't really close to any of the Rome sites and a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro. The internet access was only in the lobby and for 30 minutes. It would be more convenient in the room and for a longer period of time.
I liked the room design. I liked the inclusion of the breakfast in the fee of the stay. The breakfast was good.
The business center was cold. The air conditioning was too strong. The computer did't work.I had to to do my check in online and there was no alternative. Only a "sorry"..... I didn't like, according to the fee I payed for the room and staying 4 days, that I to pay the internet access. You could simply restrict the access for 15 min, so people don´t occupy the only computer for hours, but no need to be payable!
