Pros: Fleuve d'Argent has done a fine renovation and update of rooms and furnishings. This is a great place to stop while traveling from the Maritimes to central Canada or Quebec North Shore. We like that it is pet friendly, with a big yard for dogs to stretch.

Cons: The chalets that I rented were not updated and not as in the pictures at all. I was under the impression that I would have full size frig and stove. Couldn’t store our food because the frig was so small and there was no Oven to reheat the food in. Only microwave. If you reserve make sure to inquire as to what you are getting. I trusted the website.

Cons: First of all, we had to pay an extra for the dog, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. The person at the front desk was not friendly at all and we had to call a couple times during the night because the room just beside us was having a party and the walls are like paper.

Cons: The size of the shower is quite tight, the location is busy. I didn't find any walking possibility after my long drive. The parking lot wasn't cleaned.
