Value for money. The room was tiny.
Comfy beds. Nice breakfast. Half an hour walk into town but felt safe what ever the time.
Rooms were cramped. Brought one pint of beer in the hotel bar and was told there was no price list, them after paying for the pint saw a price list tucked in the corner of the bar and realised we had been over charged about £1.40 per pint (approx £8.50 for a pint). Breakfast drinks severely watered down, ie orange juice.
The reception staff was nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable enough and super clean. Breakfast is ok. Good bus options nearby to centre and other places. One can buy bus ticket at the tour desk at lobby.
The room was quite small that was expected. No shampoo or gel in bathroom.
- bus stop (of the same name!) nearby - free parking
- The "twin room without a window" had 5 (!) beds including bunk bed. The whole room looked like a hostel, except there is no room on booking that meets the same description. I double checked and they have rooms for 3 people tops. This was one night stay, thank goodness. But we felt a bit down. After the long way to Iceland we didn't want to bother with quarreling and changing rooms, so we just stayed. Also, the staff hasn't even informed us about the change and the whole experience was the great surprise for us. - Breakfast is overly crowded with lots of hungry (hangry) people and tired staff. The food is enough for those who enjoy sandwiches for breakfast. There's only one hot option which is porridge (unless you consider coffee as a meal). Overall, surprisingly bad experience for the well known hotel in european city. I just hope we weren't lucky on that day.
The breakfast was good and started at 6am giving you the advantage of starting early in the morning. Good location.
The room was small but adequate. We were organizing our luggage for our flight home so it seemed small otherwise it was fine.
