Huge line at pick up. Way understaffed. Car had a service light on saying it needed an oil change. There was a gatorade bottle left in the back seat when we got the car.

Nice new car that I reserved 2 months prior to trip. Agent didn’t try to sell my anything extra. Thanks for not wasting my time Reserved small SUV ( Nissan Kicks) and got exactly what I wanted😊😊😊

They charged $120 to add my partner as a second driver. Fox advertises low prices, but always adds charges that make them as expensive as top rental car companies.

Economy

I only rented through this company because it was the only option available. The vehicle was already over priced, then when I picked the car up, they added an extra daily upgrade charge for vehicle as they over sold the compact sedans. I don’t hear good things about Fox Rental Car as a company, and my experience surely confirms this.

Your staff was awesome. The phone service to reach the desk/store is horrendous - the automated line just dumped me into a generic “sorry no one’s available” message after trying to call repeatedly for an hour…an automated queue call back would be way beneficial for your team.

Attendants at the counter and at return were personable and helpful. Check in and access to the car was easy and without frustration. The car was clean and more than sufficient for our needs. Directions for how to get to the rental center from the airport were not clear, however. It was an otherwise excellent experience.

Compact SUV

The main pickup counter was closed and there was no signage to provide dirctions for pickup. I waited in the thrify/hertz line for 15 minutes only to be told that i needed to go outside the building to an unmarked flight of steps leading to the garage pickup area. While walking there i saw another person looking confused and i asked if they were looking for the hertz counter. They said yes and i told them what the helpful thrify agent said. They were grateful for my help since it wasnt forthcoming from anyone else. The value of the car was ok, not great.

Pros:

Staff was nice.

Cons:

The cars weren’t spotless, but that wasn’t a problem for me. We did get have to exchange cars due to a tire issue. We called ahead and discussed it with E-Z Rent-a-Car. They said they made a note on our profile and there would be no problem coming back and exchanging the car. When we got there, they didn’t seem to know what we were talking about and we spend a little longer than necessary due to some confusion about the exchange. Worked out in the end.

Cons:

Car smelled terribly of smoke, super long wait at pickup while the only staff st the desk was chatting with the only customer in front of me, stating “I’m taking my time to see if a car comes in for you”. I had already reserved and paid online, to “save time” the website said.
