I reported a nick in the paint at the back right. Turns out the tire was bad and had a flat on the way back. They told me to change it out and return it to the closest lot (airport). They weren't willing to give me a car to get back to the city without charging me the extra hours for dropping it off after hours. Changing the tire wasn't bad but the fact that they weren't willing to send anyone out was their first fault. It's the principle...4,0 Mediocre

My reservation was for a different location, i.e. Downtown Seattle. Even though I used the kayak app and put in pick up/drop off location as Seattle airport. Why should I have to take a taxi downtown to pick up my rental car? The receptionist at the desk found me a car to rent at the airport but it cost me more money. I would not recommend Kayak to a friend nor will I use it in the future.10,0 Wonderful

Neither the car’s interior or exterior had been cleaned. There was trash in the cup holders and the interior surfaces clearly hadn’t even been wiped down. The exterior hadn’t been washed. The car was missing all four tire nozzle caps.9,6 Wonderful

Reeked of cigarettes and hadn't been thoroughly cleaned when we picked it up. Couldn't roll down the windows because we were driving though snow storms, but it was difficult to breathe and the stench stuck to you after you left the car. ;(10,0 Wonderful

I assume the insurance was from Avis and not through a third party or Kayak, If I had needed to use the insurance, it seemed cumbersome and not just a drop off at Avis and they would take care of it. The pickup/drop off location left something to be desired. 6th floor of a dark, old, parking garage that wasn’t especially well-lit. The main entrance was closed due to COVID and we had to use the back door to the elevator lobby. I could see someone, such as a young female alone, feeling quite uneasy about the location.2,0 Poor

When I originally booked through kayak I entered sea tac airport as my pick up and drop off location. I never confirmed and looked up the address of the Thrifty location because I assumed it would be at the airport that I entered. I got on the shuttle to the car rental terminal where I had to wait in line for an hour because there were so many guests arriving and only two associate working. When it was my turn the associate informed me I went to the wrong thrifty so I had to take the shuttle back to the airport then the train to downtown Seattle where the Thrifty I rented from actually was. I would recommend a much stronger and noticeable alert that the location of this thrifty is not at the airport. I found it says that is small writing randomly in the second email I got. It needs to be more noticeable while booking the car.10,0 Wonderful
