Pros: Great experience - the staff were very kind and extremely helpful. They let us get into our room a bit early as we were coming in from a red eye flight. Very comfortable and clean and quiet. Slept great both nights and even the food at the hotel restaraunt was pretty good.
Cons: Unfortunately the banya was broken and we werent able to use it. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, since we were so cold.

Cons: Kuralai at check in was very rude and incompetent. We had a second booking the following Monday, we cancelled it. Took a junior suite, minibar was empty. Asked several times and was not filled. We also asked for an iron and ironing board 3 times over a 6 hour period. We ended up going to the luggage room and getting their only working iron and ironing board. Breakfast was very poor, and there was no choice of fresh orange juice.

Pros: The breakfast and dinners were good with plenty of variety. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The bed and bedsheets were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern with a great shower.
Cons: However, the food at both the breakfast and dinner buffet was lukewarm with the exception of the porridge and the soup. The main meals would have been more enjoyable if warmer.

Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating. My booking included both breakfast and dinner which, both meals which were delicious and ample. Because I had to wake up early in the middle of my second night to catch an early plane, the staff offered to make a boxed breakfast to take with me at no extra charge. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Friendly staff, good-sized room. It's in the old town, which isn't a great location but there's always Yandex and Uber.
Cons: I needed to complete a visa application and the hotel only had one computer at reception. The young lad was very kind and tried to help me but the computer was so old and virus-ridden, I couldn't complete my application on it and had to go to a gamer cafe.

Pros: There was no breakfast buffet or any choice, but the breakfast itself was good. The room was spacious, the renovation is good
Cons: It is not an attractive location, not nice to walk around. The room misses some basic stuff, like a mini-bar, tea/coffee drinking equipment, cups, glasses, handsoap. The shower was not comfortable. It was in the bath, no curtain to prevent the water going into the bathroom, the temperature of the water was constantly changing, and you could only hang the shower very low. Several lamps were not working. The electronic key was often not working well. In short, I do not understand the 4 star rating of this hotel

Pros: The location of the hotel concerning the old train station is convenient........not too much of a walk. Front desk staff was fabulous and the room OK for two people. Wifi was good and the view was not bad.
Cons: But.....the bar / lounge staff just gave us a cold stare asking for a coffee and walked away not responding. This 4 star hotel does only serve instant coffee!!!! Breakfast was the worst one can imagine.....some sort of omelet cake served cold because they did not use any hot plates...... and only instant coffee!!! The rest. was closed, no food at all in the hotel and only Doener Restaurants between the train station and the hotel and in the immediate surroundings.

Even if the building of the hotel looks old, the view and the staff are great)) I didn’t expect that the room will be so clean and nice, they have an extra heater in the room so you can turn on when you feel cold(even if the temperate in the room was okay I turned on) the reception works at night which is very helpful. The location is not far from the center. The price sI liked it so much that I decided to stay for one more night)) I would definitely recommend this place

Pros: The place is conveniently located on the left bank of the city centre. It is close to an open park in Baiterek with restaurants surrounding the hotel. The hotel also has an ATM, foreign exchange booth and a travel agency which are crucial to travellers.
Cons: The cooling mode of the air conditioner did not work well. The room temperature was over 30 degrees at some point that I woke up in the middle of the night. I spent so much time in the bath just to cool myself down. Perhaps the room will be more suitable for cooler days,

Located 5 minutes’ walk from the Round Square, these apartments are on the 37th floor of Severnoe Siyaniye Residential Complex in Astana. They feature free Wi-Fi. Set in the city centre, VipHouse Apartments provide good access to Astana’s main attractions, such as Nur Astana Mosque 5 minutes’ walk away. Bayterek Tower is 7 minutes’ walk from the property. Individually designed apartments at VipHouse include unique décor, inspired by different countries, a flat-screen TV and a kettle. Bathrooms come with a hairdryer. A range of dining options can be found within a 5-minute walk of the apartments, and there are several cafés in the residential complex. Khan Shatyr Shopping Centre is 10 minutes’ walk from VipHouse Apartments, and Astana Airport is 15 minutes’ drive away.

Pros: Rooms are very clean, well served, well furnished! Wonderful view from the windows to Astana city center from 38th floor. Many attractions are just in a walking distance.
Cons: It is not very easy to find where they are. A taxi driver took three circles around the towers while we tried to find where to get off. Then we were just lost in the first (shopping) floor of the towers having no idea where to go. There was just one sign pointing upstairs. The hotel managers should think of putting some more signs that would perfectly guide where to go.

Pros: I guess it is safe to say this accomodation was the best we could have asked for in Nur-Sultan or as most people still call it, Astana. We received a twin room named "Greece" and had the most stunning view over the kind of artificial Kazakh capital you can imagine. Vip house apartments is located in the 38th floor of one of Kazakhstan's tallest residential buildings and surrounded by plenty of good dining options, the main sights, shopping malls and public transport stops. Reception desk is staffed 24/7 with possibilities to store luggage. Breakfast was served in your room as the accomodation is missing a breakfast room. You could choose between several choices and it was good enough to start the day with. For what we got (maybe one of the most thrilling views over Astana from the perfect spot, the 38th floor (see my attached photos) and a very comfortable spotlessly clean room with comfortable beds) the price was more than justified. We were very satisfied.
Cons: It's not so easy to find the right way in the first place, but after some minutes we could easily figure out the tiny signs and the way leading to Vip house apartments. It still takes quite a few minutes to make it from the street to your room and vice versa. Staff was so/so: Some were incredibly helpful and kind, others a little more grumpy. Some Russian language skills are definitely useful.

Cons: shower gels and toothbrushes, after cleaning they were not feeling it up with the staff, coffee and milk. Every time I was calling and asking for it. However, I did enjoy my stay in the hotel!

Cons: Kids zone is not developed at all. No toys, no game zone, etc. They can learn from Rixy club. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not working. The temperature in jacuzzi was 42 degrees, it should be around 36. The heating was not working even though they fixed it.
