Great location right at Times Square. WiFi included.
Room was sub-standard. Looked like it had not been used in a long time. Dusty drapes and peeling drywall. Garbage stench right at the hotel entrance!
Booked transportation through concierge service. Company never sent coupon, desk on arrival at airport said PIN number was sufficient, driver never mentioned coupon until arrival at hotel. At which point despite email confirmation & receipt of payment, driver & hotel wanted us to pay again. Not a great start after a long haul international flight.
2nd time here , location is perfect! Very clean rooms. Also the staff in particular Robbi was very helpful and friendly ( he couldnt do enough for us). Highly recommend this hotel
The staff is not that nice, mega long waiting lines for check in
Hotel Edison is a beautiful, modern hotel situated right in the heart of downtown New York City. Visitors to the Big Apple will relish this top-end art deco hotel as it is within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square. Of course, there is a lot more to see near the hotel then just Times Square. Visitors can go and explore the International Center of Photography, The Museum of Modern Art, Morgan Library and Museum, American Folk Art Museum, and much more.
Within the hotel, guests have a few different dining options to explore. The Rum House is an upscale urban cocktail lounge with the menu of a casual tiki bar. While thirsty guests can try just about any drink, the specialty here is decidedly on rum cocktails and rare rums for sampling. Bond 45 is an upscale Italian restaurant that spans two different floors. Finally, there is Friedman's a health-forward eatery that specializes in incredible gluten-free dishes.
The Edison has three different room types: Classic, Signature, and Suite. The Suites are the largest of the rooms with the most amenities as well. These amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers, Keurig coffee makers, Frette linens, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, mini fridge, and a crisp 42" LCD flat screen HDTV. All of the rooms can be reserved in either one or two-bed configurations depending on how many guests will be there for the duration of the stay.
