Nice styling, good linens, good location. Staff was friendly.
All 1st world problems, but still inconvenient. Wifi was non-existent, then when I ask about it, they didn't know how to fix it, so the staff told me to call tech support for their ISP. I felt like they were asking me to do their job while I'm on my vacation. I'm glad I was there for vacation, because if it were busyness not wifi would of been a problem. Also water was turned off for 2 nights of our stay, I understand that work need to be done, nevertheless it was inconvenient. I don't think that person at the front desk knew how to program the key to work for our entire stay. Had to go to the desk every day to get access to our room. This is a bit of problem when I'm going back to the room use the restroom.
A great location
Location, staff that tried very hard to please, easy check in and out.quiet
Staff was exceptionally friendly and willing to help. I attended a conference at a hotel across the street and the Q and C happily held my bags after checkout until my day was finished, which was a huge help for me!
Good but with some room for improvement
Decor and overall presentation of the hotel are great, staff are very friendly and willing to help. I wish to particularly note the great job that bartender Orrin has done!
Noise from the nearby car park loudly announcing every bloody car entering and leave the car park was a lot more than just a nuisance. I know it has nothing to do with the hotel, but travellers should be aware of this. Also hotel could have done better replenishing room supplies – simple stuff like soap hasn't been replenished once, and during a week of stay coffee pods got replenished just once. For such a high ranking hotel this part could have done better.
Neat and nicely decorated but not overdone
Even though the room and bathroom were small it was lovely. I want a a bedroom like this at home. Bathroom was pretty. Bed was comfy and thank you for once more than plenty pillows. 3 per person.
Only complaint was it would have been nice to have the glass for the shower go farther and close with a door. Water sprayed out of the shower a tad. I think if the shower head was more adjustable that would be solved. Despite this, I'd come back.
Overbooked - Had to stay elsewhere
We got free drinks at their bar because they overbooked by ~70 rooms (their staff had mentioned this to us). They also comped our parking. Outside of that it was a struggle.
They overbooked by 70 rooms, didn't call us before hand to help us find a solution. Meaning upon arrival we were told they were overbooked and we would be given a room far from the city. Getting them to transfer funds was a pain, had to go through our 3rd party site, also having them comp us for the price difference in hotels was only completed after I froze a portion of my credit card payment, they did not volunteer the funds. If you're going for a conference BOOK EARLY! We booked 3 months out and still had issues (as did many hotels in the area).
That my reservation got booked at a different hotel and I wasn't notified. However, the hotel you did reserve for me as substitute was superb.
A very hip, cool vibe, in a great location and at an even better price point.
The rooms were extremely loud at night, and the staff was not helpful in solving the problem.
Awesome...except for the restaurant
Very stylish and confortable rooms.
The menu at the kitchen tried to be a bit too artisinal. There was one waitress who seemed pretty bogged down.
The Staff was great very helpful
Employees were generally happy and gladly answered any questions. Hotel is groovy and quaint, as are the rooms.
Wonderful hotel and staff
My friend and I were staying here for a conference (at a nearby hotel). It was a beautiful hotel very chic and stylish. It was well placed to walk to the French Quarter and many other points of interest. Staff was very kind, hospitable and helpful, especially Michael. We would definitely stay there again!
No cold water from the tap in our room.
Convience to the downtown area and central location to restaurants and entertainment. Parking was very easy and convient.
Coffee pot in room was not cleaned.
Good quality decor good location.
Very rude staff on front desk.
the hotel was close to everything, and it was nice.
the heater didnt work and theres 2 buildings and you had to go to the main building for everything.
don't like add on cost. Telephone ect.
convience of location
the TV stations, the bed, and the AC
Comfortable bed, great staff, very friendly
Terrible water pressure
Location was great, 3 min. walk from French Quarter.
Description made it sound nicer than it was, my room was fairly run down and the fitness centre had no cleanser or water cups. But it was inexpensive so for the price it was fine. I couldn't recommend it to people though.
Feeling like I was in New York city
the parking situation-took too long to get car from valet
toured new orleans
expensive parking(not theres, a parking lot around the corner
