4,0 Okay
Pros: The location was very central to wineries and restaurants along the Naramata Bench. The gardens surrounding the property are lovely with lots of nice outdoor furniture to lounge around in. There are vineyards on the property too and two nice dogs.
Cons: We booked a Luxury King Room with Lakeview for 3 nights but were greeted by a teenage boy who showed us to a Luxury King Room with Valleyview. It was a beautiful room but no lakeview. In addition, it was on the main floor of their home near the front door so there was no feeling of privacy. We were exhausted and hoped to have a nap before dinner but someone was practicing piano down the hall. We asked the boy if we could change rooms and get the piano practice to stop. He said we could not change rooms but he would ask his brother to stop playing piano. We had quiet for about 20 minutes and then the piano practice resumed. The owner finally showed up and we asked to be moved to a room outside of their home (they have several separate buildings with guest rooms) so we could have privacy and quiet. We were shown to the Munsonview Room. It was nice and quiet so we took it. After breakfast the next day we went back to bed for a nap but were woken up by the owner who knocked and entered our room. The door was locked but there was no extra latch to ensure privacy nor was there a Do Not Disturb sign we could have put on the handle. At the end of our stay we were not given an account statement so I expected to receive one by email but nothing was sent. So after we got home I contacted the owner to request a statement, which she provided. It showed we had been charged peak season rates for a Luxury King Lakeview room instead of off-season rates for the basic Munsonview room, a difference of more than $250. I requested the correction and refund, which the owner did accommodate. Not sure who got our Lakeview room or whether any of the rooms actually have a lakeview as we did not see any such view due to considerable foliage on the property. Their website also warns guests that the owners are busy and do not have time to chat and indeed if you are looking for warm friendly hosts this is not the place.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was great! The property was beautiful, everything we needed. Delicious breakfast each morning was a pleasant surprise! Would highly recommend it and would definitely go back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful..well kept..rooms were comfortable and location was excellent.
Cons: The cottage we asked for was unavailable due to plumbing breakdown so we were a little disappointed But we were given upgrades..two separate units which were nice but not able to share the experience like we had planned. No kitchen to cook specifically. Otherwise it was nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was quiet and tranquil, so pretty to walk around ad enjoy the views. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, it had a small kitchen with everything you needed, a huge TV in the living room and another in the downstairs bedroom, bedrooms are cozy and beds were comfortable and the bathrooms where clean and well lite. The breakfast were always top notch and so delicious. Our host Silka is wonderful, kind and very friendly.
Cons: The pillows are to soft... and yes that’s my only complaint. I will also say that we usually bring our own pillows when we go places.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful B & B in a great location - close to wineries, the Kettle Valley walking/biking trail, Penticton. Breakfasts were incredible - we were there 5 days and the breakfast menu never repeated. Beautiful accommodations and a great host!
4,6 Okay
Pros: location to wineries
Cons: Room extremely dirty. Dust. Cobwebs. Had to ask to have room swept. Breakfast average Host never seemed available. Had young son do check in ,unfortunately not at all knowledgeable. Didn’t at all give any knowledge of the property , example trails to look out etc. And was very hard to walk property with out coming across large amounts of dog deposits.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room had amazing view of lake. Would highly recommend getting a lakeview room. Room was clean and spacious, with large balcony and Kitchen which came in handy. Swimming pool and hot tub were great too, especially considering conditions in early spring.
Cons: Nothing really. With so many amenities on site, wish the check-out time could be later.

Pros: Suite was comfortable, bed and pillows were exceptionally comfy. Unit was illuminated well and kitchen was very convenient.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room 516.... perfect for our family of 5. Loved the setup. So cozy!!! The balcony was awesome and big probably with a great view in the daytime. We arrived at night and left before the sun was up. Generous amenities! Loved the keurig choices and fireplace
Cons: Tiny bit of dirt around the tub drain and no hangers in the closets.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location, it was right on the water. The room was really superb, with a great view of the water and the pool. It had cooking facilities and I will definitely return during the summer months. I also loved the free parking.
Cons: I had booked it specifically because on their website it said their pool was open - it was not, which was disappointing. Also in the off-season there is nothing to eat within walking distance; the cafe was only open weekends, which we had not known.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing and the detail was appreciated. They left a bottle of wine for us as a birthday gift to my husband.
6,0 Good

Pros: Great overall experience. Lakefront location, great views, nice pool, hot tub and fitness facilities. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, good value for your money..
Cons: Unfortunately the location requires driving across the highway to shop for groceries or even snacks. A little convenience store nearby would be great
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was well laid out and very comfortable. The kitchenette was fully stocked and the bathroom was surprisingly large. The hot tub seemed to be a saltwater system so it didn't stink of chlorine.
Cons: I wish the breakfast bar was open later, it looked pretty cool - it would have been nice to try it.

1,0 Poor
Pros: We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was lovely.
Cons: We were there for one night and there was a massive party above us with at least 30 young people. It went all night long, there was no answer at the front desk and we got absolutely no sleep. We ended up checking out early morning and going home which ruined the entire weekend. Complete waste of our money and will not be staying in that facility again.

Pros: The location of the B and B was great. Easy walking to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast was good with fresh baked muffins in the morning. I did a tour of most of the other rooms and found them larger and well appointed. The hostess was very very congenial and knowledgeable.
Cons: We booked the least expensive room and sometimes you get what you pay for. The location of the TV was probably the most awkward to watch any TV at all. There also was not a lot of room for luggage.

Pros: It's a home away from home, country style. Liked and enjoyed the breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Breakfast, the view, the animals, the people.
Cons: A bit tough to find, check your map!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We were able to enjoy a short hike up the mountain to view Okanagan Lake. Our teenagers enjoyed the 3 cats, the dog and the horses. It was quiet and away from work and worries. The farm-fresh eggs and home-made jams were delicious. The kids liked feeding the chickens too. The view from in the hot tub down the valley was lovely. We had a lovely time.
Cons: The home is a log house, which lends to a homey warm feeling, however, the lighting was dim in the dining room for my old eyes. I would have worked on a puzzle if the lighting was better. It was difficult to sit up in bed and read because the bed frame on wheels slipped away from the wall without any effort. These are just small things.
5,8 Okay
Pros: I love the breakfast, especially the fried eggs and the bacon.
Cons: We stayed in a basement suite. You cannot open the window as there was no window screen. There were cats and dogs on the premises but we were told that the cats wouldn't go into our rooms. There was no air conditioner in the room. We asked for a fan and the owner gave us one. The elderly gentleman who owned the ranch was ok but not particularly friendly. In fact, I felt a little uncomfortable during my stay.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect facing the lake and the people working there were friendly.
Cons: The washroom had bad smell.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Pool was indoor and too tightly closed in making the pool room too hot to enjoy
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Towels were nice and fluffy
Cons: No free coffee in the lobby No art work on the walls in the room
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was lovely. Walking distance to everything. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was excellent.
Cons: The bedding was very thin and there were no blankets in the room. No proper duvets on the bed at all. A very thin cover between two sheets. Wasn't what I was expecting. The view from the room was looking over another roof top with air conditioners on it. It said partial lake view upon booking but that was not what we got. A little disappointed as it costs quite alot per night for a room at this hotel. The front entry way inside the hotel was decorated with awareness campaigns. Nothing wrong but it was pretty much over done and in your face.
6,2 Good
Pros: Beds were uncomfortable and we had reservations for the New Years Party, but they didn't have enough tables to seat our party of six. No where did our reservation say you could reserve tables and it had to be a party of 8 or more. When we asked for a refund, we were told first come, first served. No refunds. Will probably not book again. 5$ a day for parking, including handicapped. Seriously?
4,0 Okay
Pros: It was on the water.
Cons: For the price, the bed was very uncomfortable and the room smelt like a sweaty jock strap.
6,0 Good
Pros: Restaurant was delicious!
Cons: The hotel was a little old and could hear other rooms
6,3 Good
Pros: The West wing part of the hotel have big spacious rooms with nice views of the beach and lake.
Cons: I would like to start off saying that we are regular guests at the resort but the last two times we have stayed here the customer service has been lacking. The check in process has been a disaster the last two times including one staff member when asking if my room was ready to check in 1.5 hours early, responded “may I remind you check in is 4pm”. The most recent check in a hockey team took up the entire lobby and 3 of the 4 staff working so needless to say the check in experience is severely lacking in customer service and leadership, for example, one of the staff members could have asked the team to move their bags aside, to allow other guests to be able to move in the lobby, as well as not focus all their attention on checking in the hockey team, and give service to the other guests as well. We also requested an late check out of 1 hour past the resorts policy of a noon check out time. We called 1 day in advance and were told to call day of request which in all the hotels I’ve ever stayed at this is a first. So we called at 8am day of check out as instructed and told “No” to our request of a extra hour. They did not comprise and offer a half and hour nothing. The reason given is there are a lot people checking out today so we can’t give you the extra hour??? I’m not even sure that makes sense considering people are leaving not sorry can’t give you late check out because we are expecting a lot of people checking in later today. During the check out process I wasn’t even asked “how was your stay” which is pretty standard practice at hotels with manners and customer service at mind.

Pros: The breakfast had many yummy choices. I really like the Tim Hortons coffee pods in the room. The room was comfortable and quiet. Last time I stayed, there was a couple in a nearby room fighting all night. The police were called twice.I did not sleep well and felt staff did not have compassion towards my inconvenience. I had already booked this visit; which is why I returned. So, I really appreciated the room I stayed in this time. Not sure I will stay again?

Pros: The bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. Good value for the money.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was outstanding. Love the dogs on property as well, Shirley and Tizzy. View from room was nice. Owners also recommended two excellent restaurants. Lachi downtown and The Bistro at Hillside Winery close by.
Cons: Would have been nice if the winery would have been open but not until 2020. Property was a little noisy but still very relaxing place. Need more counter space in the bathroom. Huge bathroom and nice amenities but need more space to put things.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Property and Room was exactly as represented in the photos, it was extremely clean. What the photos do not show you, Marianne and Annemarie are so welcoming and pleasent to deal with. They are there for you if you need them and if not you don't even see them or know they are there. As this is a new property it will only get busier and hard to book in the furture. We will be returning next year and this will be our new "home" for our annual trip to Naramata. Stayed for 3 days.
Cons: To be totally honest , nothing. Bed was a little ' squeaky ' but that is what happens with a metal bed frame. View is amazing and it was extremely quiet at night unlike some other places we have stayed over the years.

2,9 Mediocre

Pros: I thought I might be going to a lower end with such a great price point... it was an amazing property, so clean and spacious. We were super happy with it. Ill book in again when we need one in that area.
Cons: I could put no answer here. We loved it. They went above and beyond for us.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: When I entered the place the check-in was easy and I advised that I may have to return sooner, was accommodated and charged accordingly. The parking was in front of the room, when I entered the living and dining with kitchen. Everything I expected. The bedroom had a fan and since it is winter, I turned that on and the heat too. After a four-drive and a concert to go, I made for Salty's, and right next door there was a newer one, but I did not bring a sports jacket nor long sleeves. They made the bed the next day, vacuum the floor, changed the bath mat, and touched nothing of mine. Check out was a breeze and something you should asked upon check-in. This is my second concert trip this year to Penticton, I enjoyed and gained strength from this trip.
Cons: The parking lot was a bit tight, but fortunately the back of the lot was clear enough to maneuver a U-turn. The Mercedes beside me has a bigger footprint than my MPV so, it got in and out easily or so it seems. The parking area has seen many repavements and the sink holes, that I assume are man or drain holes, are evidence of it and again, no problem to maneuver and most vehicles had no problem. And I did not have a problem either. The refridgerator had a loud rattling sound, and having been a condo owner, all it would take is pulling the fridge out and tightening some screws.
4,6 Okay
Pros: There was no breakfast.
Cons: Complete guilt trip on registration because they denied telling us that a pet was ok previously. Grudgingly honored the reservation at the highest rate.
7,5 Good
Pros: Was pleasantly surprised when shown our room as first impressions were a bit ‘oh no’. Had a room facing the lake and it had all we could need for overnight stay, spacious.
Cons: Decoration a bit tired and dated, bathroom clean but old. TV limited viewing and Wi-fi slow

Pros: Good location for us. Staff was awesome very friendly people.
Cons: Beds had stains. Only had one channel on the tv. Tap in the bathroom was hard to turn on for the kids. Cold tile floors.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Size of room was good
Cons: When a booking is for more than 2 people, it makes sense that the correct amount of towels are provided.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: No kettle for boiling water for tea!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Always clean and affordable
Cons: Beds are a little hard and there could be warmer blankets on the bed. The showers are good and hot but the shower heads are too low for the average height person.
7,9 Good
Pros: Cleaning ladys changed all the towels and wiped the floor every day. Location was good. Apartment looked cute.
Cons: You could see that cabinets were used because they were dirty around the handle. If they didn't clean that well, who knows what else was not cleaned well... Also they had a little table with chairs in front of reception so some guests sit there and talked until 11.30 pm. But if that table is practically just under your window (for those guests who had rooms with a window 2-4m from the that table) it seems like someone is talking just next to you. Too loud and definitely not relaxing. Some people were already in the bed at 10pm watching tv or maybe wanted to sleep, especially ones with a children. Also no one told us that we'll not have a kitchener, because on pictures, room has a kitchener.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The pool area with trees and gazebos and tables to sit at was a pleasant surprise. A calm place to relax after shopping

5,1 Okay
Pros: I've stayed at alot of hotels motels resorts etc.....this is ok. There was confusion when we got there as they have self check in and I believe someone took the room we were to get. The one bed was only partly made which creeped me out - so we didn't sleep on that bed. the floor was dirty. but the tub and sink were clean. Would I stay there again ? If i had to............
7,9 Good
Cons: When booking the hotel booking.com indicated breakfast was included, there was no breakfast and apparently there hasn’t been for quite sometime. After we asked about this “breakfast included” disappeared from the ad.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good bed
Cons: Our room was a little run down - paint, etc
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice stay, no issues at all
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good location for visiting wineries. Rooms clean & spacious. Good coffee making facilities.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: check in was a breeze, the person who checked me in was very friendly, helpful and even assisted in moving some of my bags in when she saw my hands were full with my toddler. the room was dated for sure, but clean and comfortable. and the back yard oasis was lovely even in the chilly fall weather.
Cons: waited for 20+ min for the front desk person to return to the front desk. It took another 15 for them to figure out how to check me out. I was overcharged and had to ask for a cash refund because the person working clearly didn't know what she was doing or how to issue a CC refund.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing about the hotel was very good, location, staff including the swimming pool.
Cons: Can not think of anything i didn't like. For what it was it was very good.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The motel was close to both Penticton and Summerland had easy access. The rooms were very comforable and the beds very nice to sleep in. We loved the bathroom shower at it met our standards for pressure. We asked for a very quiet room in the back upper corner of the Motel and they delivered. Thats was exactly what we got. We were also at a competition in Summerland and so were gone and back several times. The staff seemed to figure that out and had our rooms cleaned on time while we were away. It was a great spot and we will stay there again next time in that area.
Cons: We had NO issues with the property / other tennants / Staff or anything in the room. I do not have a comment on this question.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfy rooms. Great Value. Easy to find, right off the highway. Super friendly helpful gal at the front desk.
