7,1 Good
Pros: Nice and romantic location with the stunt views but be ready to walk uphill a lot. Beautiful old building and very nice rose garden around the hotel.
Cons: Light with predefined patterns - you can't just "turn the light in the hallway" - you can only turn the light in whole room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Excellent staff. Very comfortable bed. Unfortunately some rooms on the second floor can not connect to the wifi. Too weak.
Cons: Nothing.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at the Chateau de Namur. The staff were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival, and informed us they had upgraded us to a suite free of charge which was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed in a very well presented and clean suite which had tea and coffee making facilities, robes and slippers, and lovely views from the double aspect windows. Breakfast (not included in the room fee) was excellent: a plentiful range of food, including hot bacon and sausages, and eggs made to order. We ate in the restaurant during the evening and the meal was superb. The restaurant staff were polite, keen and attentive. The location of the hotel is up in the grounds of Namur's citadel, which provides great views of the city, although you need to be prepared to do a fair bit of walking to get down there!
Cons: No major complaints as we had a lovely stay, but just a few observations: our suite was above the restaurant, so we were disturbed a little by noises of furniture being moved about late at night and early in the morning. The hotel was also hosting a conference at the same time which was quite noisy, and felt a little like we were in the way. Because the hotel is attached to a hotel/restaurant school, some of the service could have benefitted from a little more supervision, and perhaps advise the staff not to start moving furniture and preparing the tables for lunch in the restaurant while we were still having breakfast (which was well before the end of the breakfast period).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for cyclo-cross race, staff attentive (even if you have to ask reception to call them to the bar they do turn up quickly)
Cons: bathroom not as stylish as rooms, not an issue really. Possibly a bit too far from town if you want to be right in the mixer
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place, great views, breakfast on the terrace, excellent bed, air conditioning, large comfortable room, charming artwork. Nice staff. Great price for a 4 star hotel (probably because it is a hotel training program).
Cons: Wifi is very slow even sometimes down to zero. The wind of the airconditioning is above one side of the bed causing some discomfort, but by changing the temperature this can be solved.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice castle hotel. Beautiful room.
Cons: Limited breakfast area.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great refurbished champagne themed room. Big bathroom
Cons: Breakfast: unbriefed students staff and poor choice.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is ok, room size as well. Bed was very comfy and the room had a nice design.
Cons: Parking situation is complex due to the Casino close to the hotel.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The staff was great and welcoming. The room was clean, a bit dusty but nothin abnormal nor dirty.
Cons: As they were not in a busy period ( just after the Christmas holiday) . They told us they were not making a buffet for the breakfast. And that it will be served as room service. Only problem was we paid full price for a smaller selection. There was no eggs, some pastry were cut in half, you only have one jam choice . It really wasn’t worth 40€. Maybe usually the 40€ are worth when they served it as a buffet, and maybe they have more choice. But the one we got was a bit disappointing and very expensive. We’ll probably won’t take it again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff
Cons: My room was quite weird - the toilet was a separate room, and to get there you have to go through a bathroom room. And the other door in the toilet led to the fire staircase I guess. Though this door was covered with a curtain, the toilet room was very cold. Also, the entrance door would not close from the first attempt, and at night I woke up from the fact that the door was opened by the wind blow into the toilet door on the other end.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: VERY GOOD BREAKFAST LOTS OF CHOICE
Cons: PROBLEM WITH TV IN THE ROOM
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Very nice plce. Staff very helpfull.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: It is well located hotel. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is quite spacious.
Cons: The room was too warm but opening the window and the closing the heating made it possible to sleep. Namur has not many hotels and maybe this is a reason why the prices are so high for the accommodation.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: I have been coming back to this hotel for the best part of 20 years....i think that says it all. Namur is de flandre

Pros: Proximity to the city
Cons: Parking not easy.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Late opening restaurant / 24h reception / nice view on the river from the restaurant and room
Cons: Dirty room (hairs in the bath) / generally old building (carpet, furniture...), needs a refresh / ridiculously small TV screen
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location wasn’t too far from Christmas markets. Most of the front desk staff was polite.
Cons: Going into this property, we knew it might not be the cleanest, or the best stay (after reading several reviews) but we were optimistic, and really wanted to stay in Namur (we heard great things about it, and were doing a multi city trip) we decided one night would be fine. ALL of the reviews about the dull, dirty, outdated bathroom and rooms were correct. The hotel has said they are renovating, and I think they might have one hall that is new. The room was hot, the bathroom was almost unbearable it was so warm. We decided not to even chance the shower. There was ONE plug in the entire room behind the TV with an extension cord of 3 plugs. My husband has a machine he sleeps with, so he had to move a bed close to the plug on the other side of the room, and stretch his cord across the walkway to sleep. The property description says “private parking on site” which was one major reason we chose this property. We arrived late after a day of travel and couldn’t even park at the hotel! The property is also a casino, and the casino shares the parking lot. We were treated poorly by the parking staff and basically told it was our own problem there wasn’t parking. I couldn’t believe there aren’t at least a few reserved spots for hotel guests! We weren’t even guided to another place to park. So, we parked up the hill to the Citadel. After carrying all of our stuff in the hotel, and up multiple steps (the elevator is 1 floor of stairs plus a few more steps up) we were just getting settled when the front desk called and said the police were towing all vehicles parked on the hill. We were thankful for the call, but frustrated we were put in that position to begin with. My husband ran down and asked where to park, but again given zero guidance. He had to park over a mile away. Ridiculous! Beds were uncomfortable (too stiff) rooms not soundproofed at all, so every person closing their doors or talking as they walked by you could hear.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location next to the Citadel and river. Huge choice at Breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Bathrooms were tired and need a bit of refurbishment. Parking is in the street nearby which can be very busy.
