7,0 Good
Pros: Hotel located next to super market which is also a major stop for "collectivos" mini buses. 5' to the center or 10' to the lake for $1.00/pp. Room was very quiet and nice to have doors opening on the garden side for fresh air. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Premises are clean. Easy parking on front or inside courtyard. Location also a + for hitting the road for local trips[easy inn/out]. The center can really be jammed with traffic.
Cons: The restaurant was a letdown and very low value for the price. Dine in town.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Liked everything in the hotel, room, garden, all the decorations in the hallways, restaurants. It’s a half block from the Catheral and within walking distance of museums. We had dinner at the hotel and was very good. I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it.
Cons: Had an issue when we had dinner, because we asked them to divide the check in 3, we were 3 couples and charged it to our room, and the waiter came back saying the division would not be equal because their system would not let them, we ended paying in cash.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff is very helpful and answered emails promptly. They were able to reserve a taxi to pick me up from the airport and take me to airport as well at the end of my trip. The hotel restaurant food is very good but a bit slow. The complimentary breakfast is very delicious as well. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The courtyard garden is very beautiful and daily maintained. The location is great. It is very close to an atm, the cathedral, the downtown shops and it's very convenient for catching a taxi.
Cons: Our room was very nice but it was next to the cleaning staff room so their noise would wake me in the morning. Not a big deal, but if you want to sleep in make sure you get a room in a quieter spot.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was a beautiful property with a cheerful excellent staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is an extremely beautiful place, classy, elegant, well located, excellent service, when you weak up coffee is set up outside your room. So beautiful that is breathtaking. Bed is comfy, service is outstanding. I have been at hotels that are more expensive but this is the most beautiful hotel that I have been in my life. Last thing , breakfast is included an food is delicious.
Cons: I liked everything it could not be better.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: decor and interiors
8,0 Excellent
Cons: The shower needs more pressure everything else was great
8,0 Excellent

Cons: The toilet facilities were very modern and not too private.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable and beautiful room. Great food and elegant service
Cons: More english language tv channels
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I love this hotel, it's very colonial and charming with a contemporary flair. The staff is outstanding! My husband injured himself while on our stay there. The hotel provided us with a wheelchair for him to get around. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced at around 200 to 250 pesos a dish. Lastly, the location is great. You're basically in the city square. This gem is well worth the money.
Cons: The only concern I have is as an animal lover, they have canaries in their front courtyard. The birds sit individually in cages and often times in the hot sun.

5,4 Okay
Decepcionante.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room , grounds, restaurant
Cons: Missing refrigerator and ice
5,8 Okay
Pros: Room doesn’t have a dryer or cream for coffee on the second day the power went out since early in the morning and when i told the receptionist when I checked out i told her but she seem not to care and the phone in the room didn’t work. Not enough towels, the cover for the bed had holes and the bed it self it was very stiff not to comfortable.
2,9 Mediocre
Cons: Your reservation doesn’t guarantee the hotel will give you a room! We arrived from Europe and had 3 rooms booked 3 months in advance! At arrival we were told that they can only give us 1 room because they are sold out (and we were a group of 5). After very long arguments the main receptionist (Eleonor) who spoke 0 English in a very cold and indifferent manner agreed to show us extra room. So, after we had two rooms we had to pretty much force them to give us a third one. And they did. But increased the price by around 25% and also tried to convince us that a small standard room was the superior suite we reserved. Very shady management to say the least... They have very lovely garden and a view of Morelia- these are the only advantages of this place. Rooms are old. Stuff is very indifferent to guests.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Everything was great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The buildings and grounds and the view of the city are truly spectacular. The food that we ate at the restaurant was first class (and we ar foodies). Wonderful hotel.
Cons: Would be difficult for a person who had difficulty with stairs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Even though the room was pretty fine, definetely the best part of our stay was breakfast. The food was ok, but the hotel location gave us the most beautiful view of Morelia while taking a really nice coffee.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was good.
Cons: There were no options for children on the menu. My little girl eats very little but we had to order a full breakfast order and she ate less than a quarter.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful grounds and old buildings. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant view and very good food. Secure parking.
Cons: Dated interiors, including beds. Dry rot wood on some exterior trim. A little better English speaking would be nice.

Cons: Nothing.
7,9 Good
Pros: Restaurant inside a hotel was a pleasant surprise! Food was amazing, also design of restaurant was very nice! Location of hotel was also great.
Cons: Be aware of interior room, we got one and didn’t know about it. It’s not very comfortable, it was hot inside and no fresh air at all.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was fantastic in just about every way you can imagine. It is an old mansion that was converted into a hotel 10 years ago and the luxury and charm are still very much evident. The rooms are large and full of comforts. The beds are excellent, the bathrooms and showers, top notch. The location is amazing. You are literally one block from the main square and cathedral. You are on a main street, but because of the insulated windows you cannot hear a thing outside. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
Cons: Really nothing to say here. The place was great!

Pros: Location Large clean room Nicely decorated hotel

Pros: VERY CLEAN, & EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL LOVED IT SO MUCH.
7,9 Good
Pros: Modern, quiet and spacious rooms, comfortable beds.
Cons: Low quality and poor breakfast
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location- nearby restaurants and shopping and casinos Good staff and good breakfast.
Cons: Trying to locate my room - needs better signage to the rooms! They had construction going on - acceptable. Bathroom lights aren’t separate from the wash sink lights.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Across the street from a major shopping mall, this property delivers all that it promises. At the crossroads of a busy intersection, most of the rooms face quiet and attractive inner courtyards. Although some of the rooms are a bit dark, t's a smart design for the area. Also, there are many chain restaurants in the vicinity as well as a multiplex cinema within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a good choice if you don't mind staying in one of Morelia's modern suburbs.
Cons: Although only a few dollars, it's quite a long cab ride from the hotel to Morelia's central historical district. If you are coming for the downtown action and charm, then this is probably not a good choice for you. Also, the complimentary morning breakfast was nothing to write home about. It was just okay. With so many other positives going for this hotel, surely they could improve their breakfast a bit.
6,7 Good
Pros: very nice room but poor layout: desk located next to door and way too small, should be switched position with the luggage rack
Cons: Receptionist Giovanni showed a total lack of friendliness upon our check in, did not follow our recommendation on proximity of rooms and zero help His partners were much better and solved the problem
8,0 Excellent
Pros: No lift.
Cons: There is no lift.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely old building. The staff was extra super. The breakfast fine.
Cons: The odd uneven walkway to our room needs better lighting.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was large and delicious--several choices. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was elegant and cosy, something of a boutique hotel. I liked the focus on art and literature.
Cons: I think a couple of comfortable chairs or sofas in downstairs area would be terrific for people who like to read and drink coffee. So having tables and chairs as only sitting options is something I would change.
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice location. Nice breakfast. Spacious organized space. Common areas pretty in an old lovely building. Good WiFi. Good lighting in bathroom.
Cons: Very functional, good for a short stay, but not as cozy/homey as some other places. The bathroom was nice but the water in the sink never got warm. (It might in the shower, not sure, I only used the sink)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast!
7,5 Good
Pros: Lo mas bueno era la Senorita Yazu Garcia en la Recepcion. The most helpful person was Yazu Garcia in Reception. Loved the yoga class in the mornings.
Cons: The hotel is beginning to show wear-and-tear. The towels were old, the walls of the hotel room need painting, etc. Had to run the water for a long time to get hot water. The thing that really irritated me was that, after staying for 6 nights, I asked to stay two more nights at the same price. The hotel was virtually empty most of the time I was there but they refused to honor the same rate. I went online to Booking.com and the rate online was even lower than the one I was asking them to honor. I guess they don't care if they have business or not.

Pros: Clean
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was too dark. The lighting is horrible. The shower has very modern glass enclosure but it does not seal correctly so the water leaks out of the shower to the bathroom. Also the small stuff in the lavatory was ridiculous. The Kleenex was a pocket size Kleenex pack.

5,8 Okay
Cons: My bathing suit was stolen I requested to talk to the manager and he was never there. Made some phone calls after I left the hotel and left massages with the receptionist and he never call me back to fix the issue.
4,6 Okay
Cons: Hotel looked much nicer in the photos than in real life. Staff very unhelpful, they never mentioned the opening hours of the parking lot (on Sundays they open only till 10am) and charged us additional fee for opening a parking gate. Very poor breakfast.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great Location...staff was friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory.....continental with coffee, adequate to get the day started.
Cons: We booked a junior suite, which included a small sitting room with a worn couch and a TV along with a basic kitchenette. Not sure that the junior suite was much better than a standard room.
7,1 Good
Pros: Big and clean apartment
Cons: Poor towels and bed sheets
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: I believe, this has been my worst hotel stay ever, having been to some 50 hotels around the world. I'm just not quite sure whether it is due to bad luck, incompetence or is really this place so bad... It could be bad luck - there was a strong storm which can explain stink from pipes, there was only one cockroach, card problems happen etc. But it didn't seem that way and my belief that this place should not exist as the owner does not know what he is doing... Still, there were a couple of positives: - two guys from the staff were friendly and English speaking ( but only present on arrival) - the place has potential, is well located and most of the issues could be solved without too much effort ( e.g. improve WiFi, close off the patio by the room etc)
Cons: - stink from sewers - cockroach - light and noise at night - lack of privacy - breakfast included was a joke - coffee & fruit - WiFi working only in half of the apartment - dirt, mildew, old equipment - unpleasant lighting( no small lamps) - different apartment than on photos - problems paying with card - parking lot 400m away
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The sizes of the rooms and bathroom were large, the cleanliness was excellent, there was abundant hot water, and the location were great. The breakfast was minimal, but OK in a pinch. Extra food items can be ordered a la carte. We would have returned since we need a good hotel in Morelia for repeat visits, except for TWO VERY IMPORTANT problems. The internet in the rooms was very sketchy and in part of the suite non-existent. This could be considered minor or major according to your needs. See below for descriptions of the bigger issues.
Cons: OK, now for the important problems: 1) We arrived and checked in a little early and asked if my credit card had been charged. The receptionist said NO, which is what I had understood on my reservation, that we would be charged by the hotel on arrival. We paid in full with another card, but then as I checked my email, I saw alerts from my credit card company that someone had tried to charge on my card, but they rejected it. When asking the receptionist I discovered that indeed that had tried to charge my CARD about 2 hours BEFORE we arrived but she SAID nothing! It put me through some hoops to make sure that my card did not get locked!! BEWARE of this nefarious practice of this hotel!! 2) The second problem came up as we left. Here is what the victim of this theft, my travel partner, has to say about it: "I truly wish that I could highly recommend this hotel because it has large, clean rooms, a good breakfast for a small extra sum, and everyone appeared to be most kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the day after I checked out of the hotel with my friend, I discovered that two of my rings were missing from my briefcase, which had been in our room the entire time of our stay, except for the day of departure when the briefcase sat at the reception desk being cared for during about 4 hours before we could depart. The rings were hidden inside two interior pouches. I immediately contacted the manager, Darío, and although he was helpful in attempting to uncover the whereabouts of my possessions, his investigation yielded no results, although he did comment that this sort of thing hadn't happened "in a long time". So, if you decide to stay here, I highly recommend that you put anything valuable in the room's safe."
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, clean every day and the people who work there so nice.

Pros: Location

5,4 Okay
Decepcionante.

7,0 Good
Pros: Hotel located next to super market which is also a major stop for "collectivos" mini buses.

Pros: The room was really clean and the shower was pretty good too, hot water was not an issue like it tends to be in other places. There was also air conditioning in the room and made a huge difference. The food was delicious and staff were pretty friendly.
Cons: The bed was a little too firm for my taste, the internet was a little spotty, but it worked well most of the time. There was also a lot of noise the entire night. It sounded like people were cleaning floors and possibly doing laundry, all while chatting away throughout the night.

Pros: The view from the balcony was incredible. We thought it would be extremely noisy being right on the main street but once we closed the glass doors and wooden shutters it completely blocked out all noise. It was lovely to have a quiet room in mexico. The breakfast complimentary breakfast was delicious!
Cons: I could have used another pillow but i didn't bother to ask for one.
