Summary of reviews

Guests say

Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, and enjoyable breakfast options. Many appreciated the family-friendly amenities such as fire pits and activities for children. However, several guests were disappointed by the noise levels, especially in rooms facing the parking lot or near the freeway, and noted issues with cleanliness in some rooms. While some found the rooms comfortable and clean, others felt the property was dated and not up to five-star standards. Service generally received positive remarks, though a few guests experienced billing or amenity issues. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant stay, particularly for families, but improvements in noise control and room upkeep would enhance the experience.

The hotel is far from Cannery Row and the Aquarium. The property is large and not easily navigated on foot without walking in the parking lot. There are many nice areas with different amenities like hammocks and fire pits for small gatherings. The rooms are spacious.

Cons (-) The facility is so outdated that during our recent stay for Labor Day weekend the AC unit, which was only a wall plugged unit, failed. The room temperature was unbearably hot due to a heat wave. I called about the problem in afternoon and kept getting the run-around from the management that facility was going to fix it soon.
