Cons: There was an additional charge for things like a mini fridge. Parking is also very expensive ($22 per night) This is a very fancy/ upscale hotel so I may not be accustomed to it, but there were no food options included with our stay. You will have to account for a couple hundred dollars in additional fees if you want to eat there or park.

Cons: During breakfast, it would be good if you have some more vegetarian and vegan options. The omelets were there, but they had bacon too. maybe only veg omelets. There were bagels, cream cheese, some fruits, pancakes. You can make your own waffles and some sweets as well.

Cons: There was a cup of some type of goo hidden in the back of one of the bathroom drawers. My son found it looking for toilet paper. I just threw it away so not a big deal but still pretty gross. Pillows very squishy. Great if you love squishy pillows but not so much if you don't. Reminder that the hotel doesn't have a pool.

Pros: The location is great, the ambience is nice, the room lay-out is pleasant, and certain staff can be helpful and welcoming.
Cons: The toilet wouldn't stop running, the bathroom ceiling was cracked and flaking, the first desk attendent was cold and showed minimal interest in being helpful.

Pros: I love the atmosphere of the Marquette.
Cons: The desk clerk wasn't as friendly as staff I've previously encountered.

Pros: Clean room and comfortable. Great location. Staff was friendly
Cons: So we got there to check in and they needed a card for incidentals and they said it was $150 all we had was cash so we ran to our bank and put money on our card. When we came back to finally check in the next lady only charged $100. I feel we were profiled based on how young we were by the first lady that wanted 150 for incidentals and the next lady that wanted less. This was our anniversary weekend and we don't get to do much most of the year so we go all out and get a nice room and go to a show have a nice dinner. It was just a bad way to start the stay.

Pros: Location was gret, the breakfast was very nice with lots of things, and the room was super big. I will highlighted that the bed was super confy... I miss that bed now : )
Cons: I have an issue with the book, as the people at the hotel could not find it. Even this, the staff at the hotel were resourceble and were able to accomodate me, with the booking hotel fee and the problem was solved in few minutes. I called people in booking (that it took for ever to make it through, and I was doing an international call!! : ( ) and they confirmed the cancellation through booking and all will be paid at the hotel.

Pros: Location is good despite construction. Room price was reasonable for a king + sofa bed entry room.

Pros: Truly the only good thing was the bar attached to the hotel.
Cons: The staff was extremely, extremely unhelpful. Did not feel welcomed at all. Very unfriendly. The ice box in the room was covered in what looked like bbq sauce, clearly not cleaned. Upon check out we were charged for a bottle of wine and a can of soda, that we very obviously did not open or consume. My husband and I were there staying for our anniversary and honestly this hotel dampened our day. Staff was incredibly rude, mixed with a dirty room then being charged for things we did not open or consume. I will never recommend this hotel or location. NOT work $225/night.

Set in the Farmers & Mechanics Bank building that was built in 1941, the Westin Minneapolis opened in 2007 making it a national historic landmark. The Westin features the original 34-foot vaulted bank lobby, marble staircase and wood-carved emblems signifying the leading industries of the World War II era. The 6,400-square-foot walnut-paneled lobby is home to the 200-seat B.A.N.K. restaurant. Seats near the wood-and-granite teller’s counter look into the open kitchen and the original chandeliers remain. The American cuisine features a wholesome, healthy menu to ensure you leave feeling better than when you arrived. A seamless integration of contemporary convenience and historic significance, our 214 guest rooms boast an intriguing combination of sophistication and rejuvenation. The guest rooms offer different shapes, city views and unique lay-outs since the bank offices were not designed as sleeping rooms. All rooms were recently renovated in February 2015.
