Pros: The building is beautiful and so clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I also thought the location was perfect.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Rita Jan take care of you like a five-star hotel. Great hosts ! How lovely this hotel is in the Central District of Merida. Comfortable spacious and delicious food with personal chefs. Perfectly manicured and clean. I love this little hotel. A delicious breakfast included. Wonderful fish for dinner. Chef Jacob and David do a great job. Rita helped arrange a personal driver so we could stop at the ruins of Chichen Itza and tour then a cenote to swim , a stop for lunch and continue on to Cozumel ferry by 5 pm in the same day $240 total what a timesaver! Very helpful people. Seconded visit here it’s great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, large and nice room with super bathroom. Breakfast is very good and staff is very attentive and helpful.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Really attentive staff, very helpful and focused on you getting as much out of your stay in Mérida.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay in this hotel was definitely too short, the location is perfect, the staff very nice, and the food excellent. Very close to the main touristic spots in the city and best breakfast so far. I really recommend this location
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Host was extremely welcoming, warm genuine & very helpful & informative about local sights, restaurants & tourist attractions. The accommodation was absolutely spotless, great ambience, fantastic food. I cannot rate this place highly enough. I have travelled alot & it is unusual for me not to find some niggles with higher end hotels. If you stop here you will love this place!!
Cons: Nothing regarding the hotel. It was fantastic. My only preference if i was to be extremely fussy would be a slightly closer location to the main square (10 mins walk).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Out of all the hotels we stayed during our 18 day trip in Mexico, we felt the most relaxed and comfortable at this hotel. Not only it provides all the hotel functions to our full satisfaction with strong wifi even in the room, spacious room, comfortable bed, strong shower, and a much welcomed swimming pool after a day out in the Yucatan heat and power outlets at all the places needed (an often overlooked feature) it was the only hotel we stayed that had power outlets by each bed side without us having to fight over for phone charging. What's more is that while with all the comfort and privacy from staying at a hotel, we felt the care and warmth of the hotel owners as if we were staying with a good friend. They thought about our needs before we were even aware of such needs, such as reminding and giving us water on our way out marching in the midday sun, packed towels for our swimming in the cenote before we even thought about bringing towels! Last but not the least, we enjoyed the chats with other guests at the hotel over a free beer at the happy hour in the evening. We were very pleased that we chose this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We can't really add anything else to what has already been said about this amazing little hotel! It has everything you want - the rooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean. The interior design is stunning too. The food is delicious with everything being homemade on the premises. The owners really do everything they can to make your stay perfect. Both Jan and Rita went above and beyond their role as hosts and we'll definitely be back.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Genuinely lovely hosts; They took their time at the reception to make us familiar with all the important things that the province (!) can offer; they helped us book a diving session in the cenotes, which was simply incredible; they recommended really nice restaurants; breakfast was simply incredible and also the food was delicious (especially the desserts); they helped us out with an electricity socket adapter; the rooms were spacious and clean; the pool was lovely; we especially enjoyed the social hour
Cons: Nothing

Cons: All
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The refurbishment of this old house near Paseo Montejo was very well done and it makes you feel in a very comfortable environment.
Cons: In a matter of tastes, decoration was a little bit too much. That being said, everything was great!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Good people.Very frendly.
Cons: No bar in hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent and extremely helpful.
Cons: The place was incredible. Second to none.
7,5 Good
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Has to eat outside .bitten by mosquitos. No way to escape
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It is beautifully maintained building. The road on the Main Street isn’t that great but once you get in, it’s quiet and chilled place. The breakfast was amazing and huge volume, and staff were very helpful to meet my requests. My room was massive, but seating ideas might be required for more than 2 travelers. The internet worked perfectly, and enough pressure of the hot water.
Cons: It’s a bit off from the main square, and particularly the first 2 blocks to the center were sort of deserted and I worried a bit to walk back in the evening. It was probably the off season but the pool wasn’t maintained.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds, the bathrooms, the beds, the service, the pools, the gardens, the food. The pet-friendly policy!
Cons: There was nothing outright negative about our stay. It was delightful. The rooms could feature some more art and the beds could include a heavier comforter/bedspread since the A/C is necessary and gets the room very cold. Despite that, the bedding was great and we slept really well.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful!! We were staying for 1 night only but we loved the hotel that much that we book for 2 extra nights Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: The hotel is not in the town center, however it did work well for us as we preferred a quite place

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast buffet has wonderful options. The rooms are well kept and clean. You can't beat the location!
Cons: The two elevators are tiny, so it's very difficult to fit all your luggage at once. Also, the stairs should be more accessible to guests who prefer not to wait for the elevators.

Explore historic Yucatán and the tree-lined splendor of Paseo de Montejo, once Mexico’s wealthiest district. This Merida luxury hotel is also well placed to explore the area’s fascinating heritage, including Uxmal and the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza.
6,2 Good
Pros: Location, quietness
Cons: Bathroom, a/c, concierge service, quality
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location, service and food
Cons: Room location 231 quite noisy coming from crowd at the bar in lobby and slightly bad smell of hotel in 2nd floor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome hotel. Like staying in a museum.
Cons: No fridge in room unless you unlocked mini bar.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Lobby is not beautiful and it was full of big “art objects” occupying the space
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The property is great, very clean, great location, anazing rooms, amazing breakfast. All the staff members are very helpful, always there to help you!
Cons: However, not all the staff members speak a good English. Some of them find it difficult to explain even simple things.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Overcharged £160 and when I questioned it I was told I was wrong three times despite showing 3 emails and my bank statement to prove I had already paid. Totally unacceptable customer service. The pool has no sun at any point of the day. Mini bar advertised with the room, non existent at all. Paid for a film to watch couldn’t watch it due to poor connection.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It is a luxury hotel with plenty of additional services and amenities at (close to) Mexican prices. The location of it is very convenient, right at the beginning of one main street with lots of cafes and eateries, leading into historic Merida.
Cons: The swimming pool area was a bit of a disappointment. It is a very small deck with like 6 loungers crammed right between the hotel wings. No sun reaches there at any time and having two people on the deck already feels crowded so don't count on using it. Also, the WiFi signal was strong everywhere but the connection was inconsistent, constantly cutting out for short periods of time. Checking mail and messaging was fine, but not good at all for VoIP calls or god forbid, streaming.
6,2 Good
Pros: Location, easy check-in, check-out, breakfast buffet
Cons: Bathroom design, surroundings outside window
6,3 Good
Pros: THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. THE HOTEL IS WELL LOCATED. BUT THE BUILDING, ELEVATORS, POOL, ROOM SERVICES ARE OLD AND SLOW. THE POOL TOO SMALL AND THE LOBBY BAR TO SMALL ALSO. I WOULD RATHER STAY AT THE FIESTA AMERICANA ONE BLOCK AWAY NEXT TIME AND I AM AN IHG MEMBER.
Cons: THE ROOM TOO LOUSY, IT WAS COMMUNICATED WITH THE OTHER ROOM.THE LIGHTING IS OLD. THERE IS NO SERVIBAR SERVICE. AND THE ROOM SERVICE IS TOO SLOW. THE POOL IS TOO SMALL AND A LOT OF CHILDREN FOR SUCH AN SMALL POOL. THE GYMNASIUM IS REALLY RIDICULOUS. ONLY 4 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT AND NO BODY BULIDING AND IT WAS ALWAYS CLOSED AND HOT.

Pros: The bed was firmer than I usually prefer, but there were firm and soft pillow options. I slept well though.
7,1 Good
Pros: Food
Cons: Long walk to rooms
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We chose the option for breakfast to be included in our stay. The breakfast was delicious, although it’s not your typical continental breakfast. It was all local and regional type food, along with some of your basics, like an omelet station. Great way to try the local food!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, great staff, clean. No negatives in my opinion.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is superbly located, and paired with great service, you can't go wrong.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: I appreciated the quality of maid service. The mural was extraordinary!
Cons: The room itself had a musty smell.. a repulsive musty stench came out whenever you turned on the sink or tub faucets....the air conditioner was so loud we didn't have an uninterrupted sleep our entire stay, we reported the problem, maintenance was sent to our room but nothing was done... there is a sewage processing facility with an open sludge vat by the pool area that is separated by a fence, which explains the nasty odor that permeated the air, the restaurant service was slow and unattentive, yet they were quick to give us our bill before we were even finished with our meal. The restaurant itself was not very clean. Even though a score of 3.8 was given based on booking.com calculations, I would rate this place 2.0 based on my experience during my stay.
5,0 Okay
Pros: the pool and updated floor and lobby. the person that checked us in was very knowledgeable and pleasant. was able answer all our questions.
Cons: our room was dirty. the lamp same was dirty and on the sheets can see the dirt. our floor needed to be upgraded. the first floor was nice, bright and updated. our floor had dirty carpet and very dark.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was simpathetic to my complaints and were happy to cancel the contract without charging any fee.
Cons: The whole hotel smelled of Mold from the corridors to the rooms. Curtains were stained. Maintainance is urgently needed there. It didn't have a mini bar. It is overpriced for what it offers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff.
Cons: No free Breakfast as many other Holiday Inns in U.S.- Need to be more clear about this in Ad.

Pros: My kids had a great time at this hotel and in fact we plan to stay there again very soon. The pool was fun and the area was quiet. The AC was cool. We didn’t get breakfast but next time we will. We were very sad to leave at checkout time. The owner and his partner were very helpful.
Cons: I had no problems with anything.

Pros: The lady who cooks (Suko) is a culinary genius. For less than what I would spend at a budget restaurant I had 5 star meals. The location is also great, close to all historic places while in a quiet safe neighborhood.
Cons: I can't say there was anything I was not pleased with.

Pros: This hotel was awesome. We had to book last minute and after looking at other reviews I was a bit worried. When we arrived, all desk staff spoke English. They were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the forth floor and it was gorgeous. The king was extremely comfortable. The room had everything you need and was very very clean. They have a great pool area, tennis court and hot tub area. They also have a great gym. We workout regularly and being at a hotel gym, we were very surprised with the equipment provided. This is a very safe area to walk around. There is a Starbucks and other cute restaurants and shops just down the street. Across the street is Walmart. We went there to grab alcohol and snacks, as the stuff in the mini fridge seemed a bit over priced. We stayed at this hotel for 3 night and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it, it you are traveling through or just need a nice, safe place to stay.

Pros: The staff was professional and helpful. The room was gorgeous, clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: Bad wifi signal Room carper old and dirty
8,0 Excellent
Cons: The staff was responsive and helpful when asked, but could have done more to help us navigate the city given mobility issues that one in our party had.
4,0 Okay
Pros: It is really hard to say, but the staff were nice but still failed in the competence.
Cons: Everything in a nutshell, the room we paid for on booking.com was still under renovation and we had to pay for an upgrade to the 17th floor with the awful American-breakfast. The eggs scrambled eggs were cold and not properly cooked and we had to ask that they be put in a microwave. The room we upgraded to had a tiny window.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet was excellent as was the wait staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like the fact the hotel is quiet and the beach is beautiful. This was a pleasure trip, but I also stay here for company business. The staff is attentive and friendly.
Cons: My stay was perfect 👌
6,7 Good
Pros: Nice lobby, and fine breakfast. Friendly staff. Free use of parking garage.
Cons: Had to ask three times before they fixed the bathtub so I couldn’t use the bath until my last day. Water pressure very low. AC did not work. And rooms aren’t isolated at all so you can hear you neighbors and people in the hallways. Definitely not worth the cost.

Pros: It’s very well located.
Cons: Improve their food and extend the dinner hour. Also, have more variety in their beverages.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Clean, new. The food was good and excellent prices
Cons: The A/C was to noisy and it didn't work properly
9,2 Excellent
Pros: You can notice it’s a new hotel since you walk in, in addition it is super clean. Although the rooms are a bit small they’re perfectly distributed and the bathroom is really nice, water in Merida tends to smell and flow a little weird but wasn’t the case! However I was a little disappointed by the fact it didn’t have a pool.
Cons: It doesn’t have a pool which was a little disappointing
