The location just in the center is awesome and still very quite, the house is full of charm and the staff very friendly - even if most only speak Spanish we could get us understood. No issue in getting warm water in the shower. Cheap breakfast in the lovely patio - 35 pesos p.p.
Many (most?) rooms have no windows to the outside but to the patios (in best case) or to a floor or a window to nowhere that you can't even open - like our room. If you want to dry even just a swim suit, it will stink after closed old mansions. The bathroom was really tiny and almost no water came out of the sink. Last but not least it seems they cleaned the room with a desinfection product or put some stuff against bugs that really stank (and we could not get fresh air in). The pool looks lovely but we did not trust the color of the water to have a swim, even if we saw some staff cleaning it.
The hotel is in a beautiful old building in the city center and has a charming pool.
The room was a bit dated, I think the hotel has too many rooms for it to be able to renovate all of them. The towels were clean but past their expiration date.
The building is really beautiful and wellplaced in the city center. It is possible to have a nice little breakfast for a very good price directly at the hotel. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean.
There is no elevator. Having a room at the fourth floor might therefore be a problem in case of big and heavy luggage.
A/C unit started dripping in the middle of the night on my pillow.
