The Hotel Indigo® Düsseldorf Victoriaplatz is inspired by the Fashion City that surrounds us. It’s reflected in our rooms, our restaurant and lobby, where retro-meets-modern style makes us an elegant destination from which to discover our neighborhood’s hidden gems. Each of our floors celebrates a different decade of fashion, with murals and artwork in our corridors and guest rooms that show off its diversity, evolution and renewal. Our cushy garden terrace is the summertime place to see and be seen, and our hotel is centrally located between Messe Düsseldorf, renowned for its international fairs, and Düsseldorf City Center, with its famous shopping boulevard, Königsallee, in the middle of the fashion mecca.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a gem of an hotel. The staff are friendly, efficient and courteous. I asked for a few things from room service and they arrived within minutes. The room decor is quirky and so much more interesting than the usual hotel decor. Bed and bedding are superior to the extent that each person has their own doona. There is a radio in the bathroom.
Cons: The only improvement I could suggest is a steam iron to replace the very lightweight iron that was in our room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff: they helped me surprise my girlfriend with roses as I requested in the booking. They even drew a sweet message on the mirror, such a nice way to be welcomed for a romantic weekend. The interior was stylish, rooms and the rest. The room was amazing with amazing view. It was spaceous, had a really nice bed and was perfectly clean. The food at the bar was great: the salad we ordered was big and tasty. We even got free local alt beer to taste.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit to expensive.

Pros: Perfect location, right next to a beautiful park, in the middle of shopping, a few minutes walk from the river, Konigstrasse, and aldstadt. Room was perfect - small but very clean, had everything I needed. Free minibar items inside the small refrigerator. It was warm outside so that air conditioning was a bonus. The breakfast was good and included. Really nice place, I will stay here next time I am back in town.
Cons: They sprayed some kind of scent in the room prior to my arrival and it was a bit strong, but I left the windows open until it was bedtime and it went away.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Very expensive
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, overall atmosphere is awesome, the room is carefully prepared and we are surprised by all the little details.
Cons: Staff are a bit slow and a bit rush: no one picked up call for service at first try, but at least they did at second try. Staff start kicking us out from pool at 8:45pm which closing time should be 9pm, not a big issue but feel strange. Two separate duvets, maybe other guests like that, but we do prefer one big duvet.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: nice hotel , very nice staff
Cons: no things
9,6 Excellent
Pros: very nice staff
Cons: no things
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, very good varieties. Bed was very comfortable. Room had all one would need during travel. Excellent. Ambience was great. Staff were very friendly. We encountered an incident at the hotel and were asked to evacuate early in the morning. There was some sense of panic and I wished we were given more information so that we wouldn't panic that much. Everything turned out good at the end, however I felt that the hotel did not compensate the guests for the inconvenience they had to face standing in the cold outside for more than an hour. I still haven't a clue what had actually happened that day (30th Nov 2019, 6.30 morning)
Cons: I wished that there would be more drinking water supplied to the rooms. I have requested but it took a very long time for me to get the water. The water heater in the shower seems faulty as I would suddenly get cold water on me or extremely hot water...the heating is not consistent which is annoying. I wish there were handle bar/bars around the bath tub which would be useful when getting out of the tub.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous hotel amazing location and lovely staff

7,1 Good
Pros: Vicinity to city center and the breakfast. Also the possibility to invite additional guest for breakfast.
Cons: We have got an extremely noisy room although we had asked for a quite one several weeks in advance. There was also zero possibility to change it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is genius.
Cons: It was a bit noisy in the room. Some outside equiment generate strong buzz. Makes us sleep with closed windows.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was situated close to public transportation. The rooms were spacious, clean and quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked a beautiful court yard. We enjoyed our stay immensely,
Cons: We really do not have anything to say was a disadvantage. We have only positive things to say about our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice wellness area, amazing breakfast, beautiful and very quiet room
Cons: The only suggestion I would have: slippers for the room and bathroom and sauna area
5,0 Okay
Pros: I paid 388 Euros (excluding breakfast) to stay in this hotel for two nights - so I need to say that my expectations were fairly high. I probably expected too much. It's an ordinary hotel. The room is quite small. It was very clean though. The staff were mostly quite pleasant. It took me about 45 minutes to get to either the airport or the fairgrounds. At the price, I think maybe breakfast should be included. I was told that it is an extra 18 Euros per person ... so I skipped it and grabbed a coffee on the way to the fairgrounds instead. In fairness to the hotel, the breakfast did look nice. Would I stay there again? At that price, not a chance. I'm sure there must be other hotels offering considerably better value for money.
Cons: It's hard to find ... if you DO decide to stay there, look for the Red Cross. It's next door. If you're approaching the hotel from the left, it's really hard to spot it. There was no safe in my room. They need to put pads under the furniture so that, when people move chairs, it doesn't make a loud noise on the floor. Check in is at 4 pm, which can be a disadvantage. (Luckily they allowed me to check in earlier; I was massively grateful for that!)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Professional, kind, customer minded hotel.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: New chalets high above ground, very intimate and cozy, located on an closed terrain. Terrace with rocking chairs is a nice touch. Chocolate Easter bunnies at the doorstep in the morning made our son's day! And a fine breakfast with luxurious meats and smoked salmon pleased the parents. Will definately come back here again!
Cons: Had a power outage after switching on bed lights, probably a failsafe malfunction. Was repaired literally 5 minutes after speaking to the reception. Lukewarm water in the shower in the morning, probably somehow connected to the power outage.. minor nuances compared to an overall fabulous stay.

Pros: Decent breakfast, but expensive

Pros: Brill location nice atrium with several restaurants to choose from. Pool not huge but nice to have. Room well thought out very very clean large well designed bathroom. Can actually open windows.
Cons: Odd that could not charge anything to room had to pay for everything drinks dinner room service - which is a real pain aparently something to do with card holder needing to be present - first hotel its happened to me in and first time here - all very odd. TV more UK channels other than just news channels - lots of UK/English speakers there so surely demand - if can get all UK channels in tiny hotel in swiss mountains surely this brilliant airport hotel can deliver the same.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location - less than 5 min walk from the airport terminal. Staff was very friendly; check in and check out were quick and easy. There are several restaurants in the hotel; however we did not try as we arrived quite late at night and were not that hungry. Overall, very convenient place to stay for transit.

Pros: Room was perfect, nice and quiet, pitch black and very comfy. Bathroom complete with seperate bathroom and a bath to relax. Great location, within walking distance of DUS and close to the highway. Perfect for me even though I had a very short night due to an early flight.
Cons: Room was 30+ degrees when I came in. Absolutely sauna-like. Please instruct your people to keep the temperature normal or low. Had the windows open for 1 hour while -2 outside to regain a normal temperature. Also, sheets for 1pers bed are too small (no I’m not fat). Room for improvement.

Pros: Lovely decor. Great location. Free minibar. Nice staff.
Cons: The bed was not comfortable. Noise from nearby bars at Saturday, lasted really late. We requested a quiet room when we booked, so I guess the hotel is noisy in general. Sigarett smoke smell from the ventilation system Saturday night. Not possible to turn off ventilation system.

Pros: Amazing hotel the best location for old part, Christmas markets ,shopping, walk along the Rhine. Hotel is luxury and full of art and history amazing. A real surprise can not recommend highly enough.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This is our hotel of choice if visiting Düsseldorf. Whilst not the cheapest, we always have a relaxing and rejuvenating stay and so think the prices offer value for money. This time we had the breakfast which is expensive but the choice was extensive and the atmosphere relaxing. Also location is excellent for Altstadt.
Cons: I am very attached to my money and it is a little pricey here! It is value for money though.

Cons: Terible old beds, very low and old mattresses. Apart from 1 person, porter Philip ( or Filip), the staff lacks kindness are not willing to help could say they are ruther incompetent. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very big and comfy with excellent interior.
Cons: The stairs in front of the elevator, it made me difficult to bring the luggages.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was great! Parking was very near the hotel in a parking garage. A lot of opportunities to buy some groceries near by.
Cons: We booked a room with a bathtub (executive room), but received a free "upgrade" to the maisonnette. However, this room did not have a bathtub, so for us this was a major downgrade... The bathtub is the second most important facility for us (after having a bed), as this is something we do not have at home. We were quite unsatisfied that they were not able to offer us the facilities we booked and paid for. No other room with a bathtub was available, as they were fully booked. They did offer free parking to compensate. The room was quite dusty.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very large attractive room with quirky style, very, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, fridge, kettle and extensive supply both of wines and soft drinks. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: nice hotel , the breakfast must be more better and the scrambled eggs are not tasty like not to be fresh , need more carefull to the showers the water comes outside
Cons: the breakfast must be more better and the scrambled eggs are not tasty like not to be fresh , need more carefull to the showers the water comes outside
7,1 Good
Pros: It was a big room, nice bathroom as well. Also the bottles of wine looked very classy and we had a lot of space. It looked like the pictures, mostly.
Cons: We only were there for 1 night and in the morning we couldn’t flush the toilet, we didn’t have any cold water. When we asked for help a lady came to check but couldn’t help. The person who could help wasn’t there but we needed to check out. So we couldn’t shower of anything in the morning. We asked the person at the desk for help, and he said they would email us afterwards about this. We’re not the most difficult people but for one night and the price that we paid it was a bit unconvenient. Also because if you took a closer look the room had quite some stuff that didn’t look really clean. For example the red stain next to the bed. Than 145 for one night is quite much.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff behavior was excellent
Cons: WiFi need improvement
7,0 Good
Pros: Aired room. Good shower.
Cons: TV reception very glitchy.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, spacious rooms and very good breakfast. All round a very good experience

Cons: I was really satisfied, maybe the only points that were not outstanding were that the parking was not next door, had a high price and breakfast was a bit expensive.

Pros: This is a beautiful property with great location.
Cons: I was asked to pay extra to upgrade my room, effect of this upgrade was a smoking room (although I asked for non smoking) that was smelling cigarettes, construction was ongoing on on the side of the building where my room was located, so my window was stilled with scaffolding, at 6 am constructions workers were walking outside my window and banging on the walls. Truly bad experience. I got 14€ discount for this discomfort and paid 22€ for upgrade. Quite amusing.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely hotel on the banks of the Rhein, close to Dusseldorf and Krefeld. We often stay here (at least once a year) when visiting relatives. The hotel is spotless. It is a bit dated, but really clean and well equipped. The wifi is great, the beds are comfortable and rooms are large. The bathrooms are lovely with Molton Brown toiletries. The scenery is lovely and it is well worth hiring a bike and going for a ride, or even just a walk along the Rhein. The best bit is the breakfast! Breakfast is fabulous, with homemade jams (you are given a pot to take away with you), a really good selection of yoghurts, cheeses and cold meat, as well as some hot options (sausage, bacon scrambled egg...) There are oranges for you to squeeze your own juice, or a good selection of juices and smoothies available. This really is a good hotel, with free onsite, undercover parking. The only thing I would say is when arriving with a heavy case make sure you push the button offset to the left for reception, rather than the button for the first floor, otherwise you'll end up dragging your case up a set of stairs! It really isn't obvious in the lift so we were really grateful when reception pointed it out to us! The main lift takes you to individual floors, but again there is a small flight of stairs to go up/down to get to the rooms, something to be aware of if you have mobility issues/heavy cases.
Cons: The hotel is fabulous, we will be back!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, old-fashioned in a good way. The rooms are excellent, with good, silent airconditioning (I was there during a heatwave). Also good parking facilities. We ate there the first night, and the food was also excellent. The breakfeast buffet is very nice, with a large variety of bread, cheese, fruit, grains, dairy, charcuterie, eggs, baked beans (for the British?) and sausages. Of course, the view of the Rhine, with all the traffic on it from barges, speedboats and other boats was terrific! And it is fun to cross the Rhine by the ferry (EUR 1,50 when one is on foot) and visit Kaiserswerth.
Cons: This is not a serious complaint but: during my stay there was a heatwave (40+ dgC). Dinner was only served outside on the terrace, not in the air-conditioned restaurant, while outside temperature was still well above 30 dgC. Not everybody likes extreme heat. I had respect for the personnel that was still in full uniform and very professional and kind. It must have been difficult working circumstances (although they did not complain). Strangely enough the tables for breakfast were only laid inside. The tables on the terrace were bare, but maybe one could take everything outside on their own, I have not tried that. But temperatures were much nicer then than the evening before, so that would have been the moment for eating outside. But again: this was during an extreme heatwave, not normal circumstances.

Pros: The hotel has all been renovated and is beautiful. Also the room was ok.
Cons: We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and only the first day someone rearranged our room (not cleaned up). Nobody cleaned the room or changed our towels the days after.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, excellent breakfast and the room was very comfortable. The hotel met the needs of our visit to Meerbusch.
Cons: We found the parking at the side of the hotel rather restrictive - only 8 or 9 spaces for 20 rooms. Not a big problem this time as by luck the hotel wasn't full. Moving out of the bays into the road was rather difficult as the parking area was right by the corner of the main road and opposite the entrance/exit of a supermarket. Just one small point about the room: the shower soap dispenser was empty on arrival and wasn't refilled during our visit. We also thought the lack of any basic toiletries was surprising, particularly in view of what was described on the website. Finally, we felt the hotel was a little over-priced compared with other hotel experienced in the recent past.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Friendly staff
Cons: The cost of 269EUR per night by booking.com I consider not fair
