Pros: Nice, clean, big room. Hard bed (perfect for us), staff was nice and helpful. Nice pool.
Cons: Big party in the area blasting music until exactly 2345 (most likely the nearby popular hostel. Not their fault, of course, but something to be aware of. Towels could be replaced, specially the ones in the pool area. Wifi not reliable. Not a fancy place but very comfortable, clean and nice. Would stay again
6,5 Good
Pros: The property had a pool
Cons: The location was out of town and we choose it because it was described as tranquil, however it is in the middle of the market area and we stayed during a week long festival and endured loud and terrible music until past midnight every night. I don’t think this happens all the time . The bathroom was not of a western standard, it was like a budget Indian hotel with a shower hose attached to a water heater. We saw a couple of other rooms and they had modern western bathrooms so I guess it is pot luck. The staff were great ,when we were asked if everything was ok and I mentioned the bathroom the owner was very apologetic and said they would take a look at it and offered us a discount on the room , which I thought was fair. The staff were great for organising taxis etc and sorted out problems. Room 2&3 are lovely (we were in 6) . So I would recommend you check the room and bathroom when you check in .

Pros: Great place to stay in Kampot. Friendly owner, lovely pool, loved the location.
7,9 Good
Pros: Central location. Few staff because of coronavirus but they tried to accommodate
Cons: No wheelchair accessibility but this is Cambodia. I didn’t see a restaurant unless it was the small pool bar. They used to have a nice restaurant a few years ago.

Cons: Liked it all
8,0 Excellent

Cons: Would be nice to have bedside lights in the room.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, fabulous food and cocktails, well equipped gym. Lovely size pool. Friendly kind staff.
Cons: Having to leave!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nataya Roundhouse Resort is a twenty minute taxi ride from Kampot and a three hour road journey from Phnom Phen airport. It certainly feels like a distant outpost and would not be your choice if you wanted to spend your holiday exploring Cambodia. Which is just as well, as for the six days we spent there we just did not want to leave. The spot I found in the shade of the trees, overlooking the gently lapping waves next to the spotlessly clean infinity pool was an idyll. The sea breeze, the lush green vegetation, the purple, yellow and white flowers scattered around, the friendly greeting by the pool attendant...I felt relaxed and comfortable, as I watched the local fishermen hauling in their nets, their boats going back and forth. We stayed in a round house, well to be more accurate, half a round house, cool and comfortable, solid dark wood fittings, clean and spacious, an outdoor private bath and shower in its own little leafy courtyard, a cosy window seat overlooking the plants and trees, with the sea and the orange and pink sunsets beyond. And then there was the food. Some say that in an unfamiliar place you should eat where the locals eat...at Nataya a steady stream of people came over the New Year weekend, eating seafood fresh off the barbecue, creating a lively vibe we appreciated as we sat on the restaurant verandah, cleaning our plates of delicious food, with a cold beer served by smiling and attentive staff. Nataya has a simple, rustic, quirky charm. We loved the natural surroundings, the long pier for sunset walks, the geckos, frogs, butterflies, birds, and even the wandering skinny cats. There is a gym, spa, boats and fishing gear to rent, but that was not what we came for. We chilled, we ate, we swam, and it was brilliant.
Cons: More cushions and tables at the pool. Not all the poolside beds/ chairs had cushions. Extra towels available at the pool would be better.

Pros: Environment
Cons: Air conditioner is not cool, old

Pros: Beautiful opportunity to stay on the river and take battery powered pontoon out for sunset
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location. Gorgeous food and really comfortable bed.
Cons: Unfortunately rats seemed to be a problem, especially in the bathroom at night!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: After a few busy days sightseeing we arrived at Champa Lodge. We had read good things and weren’t disappointed when we arrived. The lodge is set Overlooking the river with sun beds, tables and chairs and hammocks dotted around for guests to relax in. There are 5 lodges so even when full there’s still plenty of space for everyone and it was good to meet other guests at the bar or over breakfast/ evening meal. The traditional Khmer lodge was lovely.. we had a large comfortable bed with mosquito net a separate shower room and sun bed on the balcony. Simple yet perfect. Very clean and well maintained. The staff were always willing to help and we loved the dogs too.
Cons: We loved the property and location.. the only concern was the rubbish along the river banks although this cannot be attributed to the lodge

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay at La Java Bleue for the first day of reopening after a period of renovation. The talented owner redecorated each room in its unique style from original local antiques. The location is just excellent, right in the centre of town. The staff is really caring and the bedrooms are nice and large. The hotel has only 6 rooms. The breakfast is awesome, with a large selection of bakeries and fruits. Thanks to Christian, Thierry and Khom for the welcoming and excellent service. Definitely my place to stay when I come back.
6,7 Good
Pros: Large room, all equipment working
Cons: Very old and no proper reception and staff not professionally attired. Looks more like a private home.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, it would be better to stay somewhere else.
Cons: The place is dirty and the owner is another than it was and it is a decadent place, they don't care at all about the guests. Don't make the mistake of paying the breakfast here! They don't like to have extra work!
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location Rooms look beautiful
Cons: The ac doesn’t work in room 2 and they don’t care .. not fixed , no apologies even though they where told upon check in and no discount of any kind.. I live in Cambodia and will never stay or recommend this place to anyone.. the rooms looks as good as the pictures but no bathroom amenities at all and no breakfast, rude staff .. wow this could of so easily been a 10 star review but the management of this place is a joke .. don’t waste your money .. stay somewhere else
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect. The bathroom is nice. The wifi works.
Cons: Unfriendly staff greeted us and couldn't find the booking that was made. We got Room no. 3, the Khmer Room, and it smelled awful. They probably used some kind of cleaning product but it was wretched. Had to leave the windows and doors open because of it. The AC was close to nonfunctional. The air never hit you and even leaving it on all night (with all the windows and doors shut of course) did not cool the room. Swinging did not help either. I'm not a fussy person but wow. The bed was terribly uncomfortable too. The balcony door also needs some force to close. All in all, this is not worth $45. And there's no breakfast included either. It is a beautiful building. Just wish they would make some effort
