Pros: We had the penthouse suite which was wonderful if you want so much room
Pros: Superb boutique hotel in great location with excellent knowledgable staff. We felt welcome the minute we booked weeks ago and nothing disappointed. Great food, great advice in a wonderful town.
Cons: The hotel was a bit confusing to find in the dark.
Pros: The pool is very nice. And the rooms are big and comfortable.
Cons: In my opinion, everything was ok.
Pros: Good location, comfortable room and staff (the family) extremely helpful. Great breakfast.
Pros: 1)Breakfast ist great: big variety of fruits, cheese, bread etc. 2)Location is good. 3)They have parking places.
Cons: The room is a bit old, not renovated and not as clean as other rooms in which I stay at other hotels.
Pros: the staff was so friendly an helpful. anticipated all our questions and answered them before we could even ask. The breakfast was copious , with many delicious choices. Not your average phoning it in breakfast. Very nice room. Good value. Free Parking.
Pros: the hotel is on a quiet street, close to the old town. Good bicycle storage. Excellent breakfast
Pros: It’s an old hotel that has been full refurbished. We were upgraded to the suite room 34. It was an amazing suite with balance, terrace with table, sauna, lounge with big screen tv and the bedroom. The bed was comfortable. Free parking garage. 2 supermarkets close by. Close to the train station. Everything is close by. Also the best part, you have access to a private garden with benches, bbq and hot tub. I will definitely stay again.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The selection of fresh fruits, breads, meats, was the best. A young lady, Alex, spent a long time with us trying to help us out with phone issues. It was above and beyond expectations. She is also very knowledgable about the area.
Cons: the shower could be better, hand held is not the best.
A stay at Hotel Unter den Linden places you in the heart of Krems an der Donau, within a 5-minute walk of Kloster UND and Steiner Tor. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice family-driven hotel in a quiet area close to downtown. Clean and pleasant room. Tasty breakfast.
Pros: The food was fantastic, and the location is perfect!
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful. A great variety and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
Cons: The mattresses were thin and not the most comfortable.
Pros: Great location. 10 minute walk from train station. Quiet hotel.
Pros: The breakfast was really good with fresh cooked eggs as you like them and lots of variety. The hotel room was actually quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be also for a European mid priced hotel room. Staff were very nice and it was a short walk to restaurants and a nice shopping precinct. And the WiFi was free, quick and reliable.
Cons: No complaints - it was very well priced for value and met my expectations.
Pros: I left my passport in the room and the staff made real efforts to let me know. Very considerate.
Located in Krems an der Donau, Hotel Wein-gut Hutter is within a 10-minute drive of Steiner Tor and Danube University Krems. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: breakfast not a buffet. a bit expensive for the offering.
Pros: The location is perfect, in the middle of the vineyards. Weather permitting, the small pool was perfect for chilling and the outside terrace beautiful for food and drinks. The substitute room (see below) was very nice. All employees were very friendly and helpful, esp the dark haired young lady who checked us in and also on another day did service in the restaurant part.
Cons: Mainly the new management And their way of running the place. We were given a room type different than what we booked according to pictures - the room we booked was in the main building and had regular windows, but we were given a terrace room in the annex, it had a complete glass front, only way to air it out was by opening the door which didn’t have a fly screen so all kinds of creatures walked and flew in when we opened it to have some air. The full glass front also meant we had to choose between sitting in complete darkness (due to only very heavy curtains being available, not the gauzy type) or on stage for all passersby. When we asked for a substitute room, the reaction of the manager was very unprofessional (basically she belittled and laughed at us) and the room that was offered cost €10/night more, which we grudgingly had to accept bcs we didn’t want to spend our remaining two days in the area looking for something else. Will not return to this hotel which we have been to many times prior and like in general, only because of the new management.
Pros: We drove from Vienna to this place and got free parking. It’s not at the center of Krems but we can take a walk for some exercise. We had a clean and comfortable room. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Our room is close to green vernal vineyard, very peaceful scenery. We had a fantastic meal here. After a week traveling in Austria we were sort of tired of meat. However, we enjoyed a good dinner here with tasty soup, fresh vegetables and nice sparkling wine.
Pros: great, unfortunately the weather was not O.K. for having a dinner in the vineyard. Terefore we will come again soon.........
Pros: For the breakfast I would expect richer choice and more food available.
Cons: Improve the breakfast.
Pros: Really nice property, lots of cozy nooks, lovely garden, room was spacious for all three of us.
Pros: Right among the vineyards with modern guest rooms, nice terrace, swimming pool etc. Staff generally accommodating.
Cons: Make no mistake, this is not a winery! So no wine-making facilities etc. No dinner served on Sunday nights and pool closes at 4 pm the same day with no personnel on site (an issue for late check-in). Breakfast ok but nothing special. Self-service fridge for wine a plus but at full restaurant price.

This hotel has facilities measuring 5920 square feet (550 square meters), including conference space. Pros: Very clean and well looked after. Attentive staff.
Cons: Only one small thing, went to check out early morning and there was a tatty sign saying back in 10-15... absolutely hate signs like this.... 10 mins from when!
Cons: Cold water at the pool.
Pros: The hotel is nice and clean. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The spa area seemed quite small for the capacity of the hotel.
Pros: Just great ! Excellent spa, very nice location, great breakfast, outstanding room. 10/10.
Pros: Excellent hotel, good location, very friendly staff
Situated in Krems an der Donau, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Danube University Krems, Kloster UND, and Kunst Halle Krems. Steiner Tor and Pfarrkirche are also within 15 minutes. Krems an der Donau Station is 21 minutes by foot and Krems an der Donau Mautern Station is 24 minutes.
Pros: Great location, nice stuff, clean, tasty breakfast.
Pros: Safe storage for our bikes. Just a short walk into the centre and local restaurant.
Cons: Rooms had all kitchen facilities with two plate stove but no pots, pans, kettle or any implements. So kitchenette was of no use and no tea or coffee making facilities. No fruit whatsoever at breakfast.
Cons: Rooms are smelly
Pros: The entire place was like being on campus, which it is. The room we had was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. They had a safe bike storage for our bikes and everything worked. The place is huge though and a bit impersonal. Very different from your hotel or a guest house experience. We first thought it was too far from town but really, 10 min walk. The breakfast was ok, fruit of some sort would have been a nice addition.
Cons: We though it was a bit overpriced for that kind of a college accommodation but it was still very good. We had a deluxe room so maybe that’s why.
Pros: Very comfortable, very quiet at night, great location, the staffs are friendly
Cons: No 24 hours reception, there is a case a man try to open my door in the evening and show me he had the same room number key, we try to call emergency number. Take us 2 hours to find someone to sort this out
Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: The verbal instruction is not clear enough for the room and parking when the staff are off during the weekend. As a university dormitry, the room and breakfast are just simple. Don't ezpect too much.
With a stay at Parkhotel Krems in Krems an der Donau, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Steiner Tor and 7 minutes by foot from Weinstadt Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Parkhotel Krems is situated next to a quiet park within walking distance of both Krems old town and the museums in Stein neighbourhood. The hotel staff were all pleasant and service-minded.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: It was a very clean hotel and our room was huge for a double, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful, we don't speak German and it was a bonus that he spoke English and also recommend a place to eat. Excellent service
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like
Cons: Too much presence of catholics images.
Pros: Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Was also well maintained on a daily basis with cleaning and fresh towels/bedding. Excellent location within Krems right next to the city park. Easy to get around and explore on foot and also has plenty of public transport easily accessible. Breakfast provided was of good quality and with a wide variety of options available.
Cons: There wasn't anything about the stay I found to be negative. All expectations were met and everything was accurate based on what was advertised.
Pros: Location close to city center, restaurants, shopping
Cons: extremely outdated, no modern conveniences, very limited services...:(
The Orange Wings hotel in Krems: a clever idea for your stay in Lower Austria. Spend the night at unbelievably inexpensive rates in an attractive hotel with a modern design. The Austrian capital, Vienna, is less than an hour's drive from Krems: your gateway to international transport.
Pros: Small, but comfortable and clean room with everything we need. Bicycle-friendly. Nice staff. Good breakfast. No problems with late check in because it was automated.
Cons: 1)There were no sockets near the bed. 2)It was not clear where is the safe place for bicycle, in case of late check in.
Pros: The room is clean and nice.
Cons: The extra bed is not comfortable.
Pros: The price was OK i guess, considering the other accomodations in the area, although still high for this kind of hotel in my opinion. The location, although in an industrial zone seemed safe and the automated check in process worked well. The lady at the reception was friendly.
Cons: I tend not to give negative reviews, but this time I'm making an exception. I understand that this is a budget hotel, though the price is not as budget as you'd think considering everything. Our room smelled badly of mildew which was quite alarming, the walls had some kind of spots which seemed to be painted over (probably old mildew). Lights in the bathroom work with a sensor and tend to turn off while you are inside and won't turn back on. All in all not the best experience.
Cons: It's not been the first time for us but unfortunately this time was the worst. The bed in the room we were put in was unfortunately totally uncomfortable, the mattress and the bed were really old! Please replace the mattress! Also this time it was very noisy, it seems that the people above us were dancing or jumping around.
