Pros: it was very clean. the staff were helpfull. good restaurant near by. I felt safe walking around the city.
Cons: no amenities in the room. no coffee maker, the frigidaire not was working, it was not plugged. I plugged it, but when I left the room, the electricity got cut off!! the beach was 5 min walking distance at the end if the alley, but in the website it looks like it the hotel is by the beach. in general I think the price was too expensive regarding the amenities and situation of the place

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful! We arrived early and they rooms were available before check in. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk across the street with restaurants and stores close by. During checkout the staff kindly returned a few items that were accidentally left behind in the room.
Cons: I wish they would’ve provided towels to use at the pool

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff! The placating was brilliant and the overall ambience was terrific. Only issue was that we had a smaller room for our first night but we were able to extend our stay by 1 night in the nicer room anyway! Highly recommend

Pros: Great Staff and Hotel. 5 min walk to the beach. We were even offered surfboards to borrow for free. Also met the owners of the Hotel who were very kind and offered us a late checkout. Loved our stay!

Pros: This is a great getaway spot! Once you are there it feels like the outside world melted away. Nei, the owner is an awesome person. Since I don't speak Portuguese I was concerned with my trip. However, Nei and his brother in law Anibal both speak excellent English. (They even helped me with a payment issue (bad reader) with the driver who brought me there). They helped me get acquainted with the area and the bar and grill is great - beer and crepes! Their place is excellent and very "chill" - pool, hammocks, chess and places to relax all around. I felt like a visiter that had been staying there for years. I even made some great friends with two Brazilian families staying there the same weekend. I will definitely come back.
Cons: You may be shocked when you drive thru the back alley to get there and cross the rickety bridge to the property, but don't worry it's top notch! If you are looking for a high rise American corporate style hotel it may scare you at first, but relax and enjoy the authentic Brazilian local's warmth! Well worth it!

Pros: The front desk were great. Especially victor. He helped us as we only spoke little Portuguese but no matter what the front desk always tried to help. The breakfast was great and also was the service at the beach. The location is close to everything. The pool is ok.
Cons: The rooms were very old. The hot tap in the sink didnt work. The curtain didnt even cover the whole window and they were very thin so at night the light that is on outside shines through so it feels like it's day light all night, which isnt nice to sleep in. We put our please clean sign up twice and the room never got cleaned once and we stayed for 5 days. They later claimed you have to pay for it in the booking to get cleaned. In all the hotels ive stayed at ive never heard of this but we would of paid extra for it to be cleaned. At the end of the day your paying for the beach location and breakfast.

Pros: Location was great, beach front and near all restaurants and bars. If not exploring the beaches in the region, no need for the car. The room was big, clean and functional. Great air conditioning. Modern bathroom. Great breakfast with option of scramble eggs made to order and açaí. The owner was very nice and accessible, contacting us via whats app even before we arrived.
Cons: Saturday nigh there was loud music from a neighbor bar until 12:30, which made it very difficult to sleep. Acoustics is not great.

Pros: This hotel was perfect. The hotel staff was very friendly (only speaks portuguese though) and you get wrist bands to go to their partner beach locations with a pool and chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The rooms are big and the beds are so very comfortable with a nice TV, and the bathrooms are large, and your own balcony, and shampoos. One morning, we were the only guests in the hotel because we stayed during Brazil's winter (June) and they had a beautiful breakfast prepared for just the two of us. Breakfast included eggs (made to order), sausage, quiche, many delicious breads, corn, fresh fruit and juices, and tapioca made to order. More than we can ask for.
Cons: We loved the hotel, but the city of Maresias --- Since it was winter time in Brazil, the main town, Maresias, didn't have a lot of places open. Many restaurants and bars are only open once a week or only on weekends during the winter so we didn't have a lot of options when going out in the town.
