I utilize Mammoth’s Motel 6 every season at least once. I would probably never stay at a Motel 6 in any other city, but in Mammoth, where I’m happy to sleep on the ground or in my car, any lodging is enjoyable since it’s such an awesome town. Cons (-) Bare minimum for stay. Beds not comfortable. No Hair dryer. Shower head leaking. Non smoking room smelt horribly like smoke. No Kleenex.

Pros (+) The Motel 6 is a dependable place to stay in Mammoth. The renovation is appreciated. A nice place to stay with a friends staff.
Cons (-) This is a very minor issue, but the heater was cranked up to maximum when we walkers into the room. It was insanely hot.

Pros (+) It's a great place to park your stuff and sleep. I didn't bring my dog this time, but they allow dogs. The rooms are nice and clean. Spare, but nicely designed. Cons (-) There was no coffeemaker, no tissue, no little shampoos, and no hairdryer. They give you a couple of measly bars of soap and that's it. Not having a coffee maker is a major problem when you're there in the winter to ski and can't make a hot drink in your room.

Cons (-) Not enough parking in front of my room. People with motorcycles are hogging up one space each! I was forced to park on the other side of the building away from my car. Cons (-) We had to pay for internet and the front desk said it is good for viewing emails. It wasnt. The room is a bit small for the 2 beds for the price of $168.
