Pros: Very good value! Surprisingly quiet stay, despite adjoining the traffic light crossroads of 2 A-Roads! Good position- is easy to reach. For the price it had everything I needed, including a hairdryer. The welcome was lovely and friendly - reassuring for a lone female traveller! Good breakfast.
Cons: Being almost the last arrival I had to have help squeezing into the car park - but this was cheerily offered! (The use of more and more bigger vehicles, especially SUVs, is meaning that I'm increasingly encountering parking issues where there is a limited size carpark!)

Pros: Room a lovely size. Quiet location.comfortable bed.Good breakfast.
Cons: 2 adults and 1 child in the room and yet only 2 cups 2 glasses etc no thought you the fact that an extra body in the room. Cleaning not the best and a foot mark stain on 1 of the pillow cases. Lights in courtyard come on too late already dark before they work.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything. Great location, great pub/dining. Food was fantastic and a very warm welcome. Will 100% be going back.
Cons: Rooms were noisy, you can hear people in the room above and anyone coming in and out but this can’t be helped due to the age of the buildings. Rooms could have been cleaner. Get your cleaner a pet hair hoover instead of a Henry.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds are so comfy Staff are so so friendly Great location for an airport stay Food was wonderful and great value for money It certainly won’t be my last stay and last but not least it’s a dog friendly which gets a big thumbs up from us...
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value rooms, friendly staff, great value food and a good pint. We will definitely use again next time we are in the area. Plenty of safe parking. Were kind enough to give us an early Sunday breakfast.
Cons: Nothing much...it was a very cold, heavy frost night and a couple of my friends found the room heaters on the ground floor struggled to fully warm the room...my room was a first floor one and was plenty warm enough.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and well presented, very comfortable. Food is good, especially the breakfast which is delicious and freshly cooked. Staff are helpful, friendly and extremely professional. This is why I stay here when visiting the area.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: From entering the hotel, great customer service, all facilities close to my room, breakfast was great and the meeting was in a very quiet spot in the bar area.
Cons: Only detail, was the pillows and duvet , not the best , however that is a minor as the duvet very thin and then the pillows were to soft and one was to small then two was to much

Pros: The staff were friendly on arrival
Cons: The place wasn't very clean. The heater wasn't working and the aircon wouldn't turn off so the room was FREEZING, even wrapped in the duvet wearing a hoodie, joggers and socks i was shaking A LOT and took a good couple of hours untill I fell asleep. Where as in my friends rooms the heating wasnt turning off so they couldn't sleep due to it being too hot. none of us had a good sleep unfortunately. it was extremely overpriced for what you actually get. And the rooms don't look like they do online. I paid more for a better room (wish I didn't) simply for the fact I thought I'd get a nice bathroom. The bathroom was awful and dated.
7,1 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms and good parking facility
Cons: The limited food options
7,9 Good
Pros: The staff are very helpful friendly and go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable.
Cons: The cooked breakfast.. wasn’t quite up to standard.. but they did have a good choice of cereals, fruits and yoghurts.

6,0 Good
Pros: It w ere d comfortable and clean- really liked the pictures of the miners strikes etc - they added character. The custard creams were a bonus too
Cons: It looked like it could do with updating a bit - the paper signs and the old paint meant it didnt loom as nice as it could but it was comfortable clean and very spacious with friendly helpful staff
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a lovely location, in the village of Quorn. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere and our room was comfortable wi5 ,overly views over the garden. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, breakfast the next morning was delicious. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced too.
Cons: The only comment I would make, is the heating in the corridors could be turned down a little as it was a little warm, but better than being cold!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We noticed there has been lots of investment in new furnishings etc. In our room, complimentary water, toiletries, room biscuits & choice of drinks. Cleanliness was top notch.
Cons: There was nothing
6,0 Good
Pros: Quiet, easy check in. Nice and clean ,every friendly
Cons: needed some one on the bar full time ,so not to have waiting customers
7,1 Good
Pros: The property was fine but could maybe do with a freshen up on the interior.
Cons: We stayed in room 106 and there was a constant loud drip by the external door that was that loud it woke us up several times. This needs to be looked at

5,4 Okay
Pros: One staff member was professional, friendly and efficient (served us our breakfast in the morning)
Cons: The food was not good. It certainly wasn’t anything close to the pictures in the menu. Staff forgot to bring drinks, one staff member practically threw the vegetable dish on the table, another brought us different sauces to the ones we’d asked for. A fizzy drink we ordered was completely flat, though this was resolved. All small things but these combined made it a disappointing visit. The ladies toilets smelt terrible too. We stayed at the hotel too. The room was adequate but not great. The promised and pre arranged extra bed was not there when we arrived, though this was sorted quickly. We will be visiting the area regularly but we won’t stay here again.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We had to leave before the actual breakfast but these guys had breakfast at the door in the morning for us.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location and the staff were very friendly. The room was large and the hotel has a large garden. It is a lovely building and full of historic features
Cons: It was badly run and a bit chaotic. It wasn't very clean and it is in need of a major refurbishment. The room we had was just a large room with little facilities. It could have done with two armed chairs and a coffee table. Everything looked a bit neglected and grubby. Were charged when we arrived even though I had already paid in advance. We were refunded after I pointed out that the stay had been paid already. The breakfast was included but that consisted of individual cereal packets and toast. If you wanted a Full English this was an extra £7.60!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very quirky
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff so helpful and friendly. Restaurant great value and quality
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff, particularly Jess and also Gavin, were super helpful, cheerful and welcoming. Good parking.
Cons: Although a nice room, the carpet was filthy and walls were thin so could hear the other guests.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was what I needed
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good spacious room overlooking a nice large garden with seating areas for guests. Staff were pleasant and we enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the restaurant. Nice central location in Barrow upon Soar.
Cons: Maybe duvets rather than blankets would have worked better for us.

4,0 Okay
Pros: The location as it was in walking distance to my granddaughters
Cons: Not what I would expect from this well advertised hotel. Light above the bed did not work but was tired and very late so I let it go. The bathroom was not very clean but as I was leaving as only on an over night stay I let it go.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It’s in a nice quiet spot. Lovely staff. Comfy bed.
Cons: Being disabled I found the stairs difficult but been there once before, so knew what I was getting.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: location, warmth, facilties, dry food, cereals all covered up with best before use dates, so that was good
Cons: That we spent over £70.00 for this room, and we are pensioners. WE WOULD LIKE A REFUND PLEASE CAN THIS BE ARRANGED ASAP? poached egg on its own on no toast, cold plate, brought out too soon when we were eating cereal still Being told that she was exhausted, no staff, all off for Christmas and New Year Being told to come downstairs and help ourselves if we need anything Hard too small bath towels Leaky cold water tap Fire door (propped open) no emergency toiletries arrangement No decafinated tea bags, were requested Too expensive
5,0 Okay
Pros: N/A, didnt have breakfast. Hotel location was lovley, Reception check in was ok, receptionist was pleasent enough. The room was adequate, certainly not the best ive stayed in but def not the worse. Decor could do with a smarten up as could the carpet leading to the room.
Cons: Noisy downstairs bedrooms, if you are below someone who is a bit heavy footed, you certainly hear it, every footstep. Soundls like the people upsairs in the room above was moving the furniture around at 4am in the morning after a New Years night out.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Quiet area and affordable. Would definitely use again

Pros: Central location with free parking. Good staff. Nice reception area. Value for moneyish.
Cons: Rooms dated. Beds small and hard. Basic rooms. Buffet breakfast at £9.95 not vfm.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and room was clean.
Cons: No black teabags in room, room was tired, bed was very uncomfortable, could feel all the springs, had to ask for a remote for the tv. Hotel looked tired. No mattress protector on bed, just the sheet.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing to like about it
Cons: Our room was broken into and my friend’s I pad was stolen which we later found outside the hotel disposed of when the persecutor must of seen it was being tracked. The hotel staff did not act on it appropriately and conveniently none of the cameras were working and haven’t done for months. The service is poor, the facilities are poor and out of date and the staff are not professional. Ive never left a poor review about any business before as I own my own and know that sometimes matters are out of your control, but this was a awful experience and the lack of security and condition of the place has confirmed to me that this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. 0 out of 10
6,0 Good
Pros: convenience to centre
Cons: parking was difficult for a larger car
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Close by
Cons: No heating After several complaints nothing was done Four remote controls later I got my tv to work
4,0 Okay
Pros: Good location in town centre. Car park on site. Cheerful reception staff. Can't think of much more. Great price for one night's stay. Really can't think of anything more now.
Cons: Grim, dingy car park. Having to pay extra for car park. Worn mattress. No hot water after 5 minutes of running shower and hot tap in basin. Window stuck closed. Decor from a bygone era. Cost of breakfast - didn't bother adding it to booking.
7,0 Good
Pros: Comfortable and warm single room. Plenty of onsite parking. Satisfactory breakfast. Good location in town centre.
Cons: More imaginative breakfast.
