The cleanliness, location and staff professionalism and friendliness!
The unfortunate scaffolding and poor water pressure of the shower!
The staff was excellent!!! Super friendly and helpful!! The food was also very good!
We loved the room, but for 4 adults it was a little snug. Definitely family friendly though
Breakfast was wonderful and location too, but this is not a hotel type accommodation in our understanding. It is more bed and breakfast type.
No air conditionings, premises are not suitable in summer. It looks like B&B place, managed by freelancers. Building is being renovated from outside, but it is not mentioned in the hotel's info. Pictures looks nice only on booking.com. Reality is slightly different, and under European score this shall be given no more than 2-3 stars.
Great location. Friendly staff
Bed a bit hard and pillows very hard like bullets so difficult to sleep so affected my comfort score
The staff were very helpful and friendly and they sorted out our problem straight away.
Basement bedroom is very small and it has no privacy very looked onto, plus it is in a different building 2 streets away.
Georgian House was originally built as a private residence in 1851 then converted to a luxury boutique bed and breakfast in 1950 and remains a popular destination in London. Nestled in the neighborhood of Victoria among other period houses, the Georgian House is a pleasant surprise for travelers.
The bed and breakfast hotel is conveniently located in Victoria, with proximity to Victoria Station, Victoria Palace Theatre, Pimlico Station, and Apollo Victoria Theatre. Other popular tourist destinations include Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Local transit and shopping destinations are also a short car drive away.
There are few offering at the hotel. The Georgian House is more known for a comfortable place for travelers looking to explore the historic and convenient local area. The on-site features are a small gift shop, 24-hour reception desk, and a dining area which offers made-to-order breakfast and courtyard seating.
All of the 62 accommodations at the Georgian House are unique and include décor from old-fashioned wallpaper and original fireplaces to black and white strips. Most of the rooms offer contemporary elements and traditional touches, but all feature a flat-screen TV, a coffee and tea station, free WiFi, and a desk. The sizes of the rooms range from full apartments to single units. Families enjoy the fun Wizard Chamber, a Harry Potter-themed room with traveler trunks, cauldrons, and potion bottles. The rooms are dorm-style, with showers located outside of the room for multiple guests to use. The Belgravia Rooms are the only rooms with a private bedroom, bathroom, and living area.
Conveniently located near public transportation and tourist destinations, the Georgian House is a great location for couples, singles, or tourists looking for an intimate setting on a quiet street.
