It was very close to Victoria coach/train station. The area was fine.
We were on 3rd floor and there was no lift or offer of help with bags. The breakfast room looked very tired and not very appealing. We decided not to have breakfast even though it was included. The shower head wasn't clean and so we opted not to use it. Had to pay to leave bags when we checked out - only £1 per bag but have never been charged at a budget B&B before and the room wasn't secure.
Really good location - walking distance to Victoria station very handy for those who need to get on a train to the airport early in the morning. Our luggage was kept free of charge for 5 hours.
when a hotel has two stars you don't expect fancy facilities, but you still expect cleanliness. I found hair in the shower, bathroom sink was blocked. The reception staff was unable to give me a receipt for my stay.
The structure was carpeted well ,
Very small rooms, bathroom facilities need upgrading, heaters not working well.
I think the location is a strong thumbs up, locating around both Victoria coach, rail and underground station, its a good place to go around London, especially as the line its on (Victoria Line) is part of the night tube. I think the room was spaced out well, especially for a single room, bed was comfortable and clean. Plus the staff were very helpful
I think firstly, the room while clean was very old and there were signs of ageing. Bathroom taps and shower had a bit of limescale, as for the shower itself, the lack of hot water is really huge negative given how the basic tool of a shower is to have hot water. While there was a spare shower in the corridor down three levels, the idea that a room with a shower doesn't include hot water is a big problem.
Rude woman "greeted" me, I saw bedbug and molds in the shower, thin walls, I hear that told neighbors. Window does not close normally, blow wind through window and door holes, it was cold. Instead of blanket cover, it was bed sheet.
