Pros: It is beautiful. The breakfast is to die for. The people here are so friendly, and attentive. They feel like family. From now on, we will stay here when we come to Little Rock.
Cons: No complaints.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is such a beautiful house filled with history, beautiful antiques and stories. It took 8 years to build this jewel. You cannot compare this beautiful place to any hotel in town. It's like a visit to a museum instead than staying at a regular/boring hotel.
Cons: I liked EVERYTHING!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful Staff and owners we very friendly and eager to help make your stay the best possible. Breakfast was out of this world!
Cons: Absolutely nothing-it was great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The main house and carriage suites of The Empress of Little Rock were filled with history and charm. The luxury features in our suite such as the fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, aromatherapy steam shower, and balcony overlooking the Secret Garden provided a lovely respite from daily life! Our host, Webb, personified grace and charm as he welcomed us, toured the buildings with us, and treated us to an over-the-top breakfast.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The new owners, Antonio and Keith are very gracious hosts; they are both people persons and love to share life and stories with their guests. The breakfasts were first rate! Each evening they put out wine so the guests could enjoy sipping wine while sharing life together in one of the sitting rooms.
Cons: What's not to like? There were some renovations started, such as redoing the fountain out front and grounds keeping efforts in the garden area, so not everything was 100%. But that barely took away from the beauty and grandeur which was still there to see and enjoy. It will be fun to go back in a year or so and see the improvements.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the bedding and the beautiful decor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were awesome! Quiet and peaceful. Beautifully maintained.

Pros: Very Clean!
Cons: The sheets weren’t new and fresh. A little worn, I could tell from the worn thread on the sheets. But I just turned them around instead of bothering the staff.

Pros: Really big gym space was awesome! There was plenty of space to do exercises in addition to just using equipment. Loved!! Also appreciated the security of having to use a key to enter any doors other than the front door.
Cons: I wished for a microfridge that had the little freezer. My travel freezer cubes for my cooler had to be refrozen in an ice bucket which didn't really work.

Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast in the mornings from 6:30-9:30 added to the overall value of the property.
Cons: The key cards needed replacing 4 times in the first 18 hours of a two day stay. Room was comfortable but dark, and the carpet needed to be stretched. Room could use a renovation. 8,3 Excellent
Pros: A good location for our purposes. Not their fault that road construction made getting to it difficult or that Little Rock streets are hard to follow. Pretty grounds.

Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, helpful. Clean rooms, nice amenities for being a downtown hotel.

Cons: Everything was better than we expected .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Love this hotel! Everything was great!
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the location was close to a lot of good spots.
Cons: The hotel parking lot filled up the first night we were there and I was being charged $10 a night to park there and couldn’t even do that. And my room was not ready til 2 hours after check-in started.
9,5 Excellent

Cons: The breakfast wasn't all that great but breakfast not a big deal to me. The parking garage was a pain in the touche.

Pros: The hotel is very nice & the room was clean & comfortable. The location was great as well.
Cons: The staff here were terrible-NOT what is expected of a 4 star hotel. Luckily, we did not have to interact with them much. Be aware-you HAVE to valet your vehicle. We expected to pay for parking (no big deal to us-it's typical for downtown).

Pros: The rooms came with pretty much anything you needed: a stove, full size refrigerator, dishes a desk, a television, to my surprise there was even a bottle opener when I needed one. The breakfast was great!!!! They kept it stocked and it had a good variety of foods to choose from. I sat on the patio having a beer and just enjoying the beautiful evening. It felt kind of secluded, even though we were in the middle of Little Rock, Arkansas and there was a Walmart and a strip mall just behind the hotel. I would say it was the best hotel out of all 4 of the ones we stayed in on this trip. I loved it, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was arranged in an interesting way, but it wasn’t anything too inconvenient.
Cons: The ac unit smelled musty and damp like the filter hadn’t been changed in quite a while. If we had stayed more than one night, we definitely would have had to have it changed. We could also hear every door that closed outside from our room. We got a king suite to share with the kids. There’s no privacy so make sure you know what you’re booking if you aren’t staying alone.

Pros: Good, but very limited. Enjoyed the waffle with the different toppings offered. We paid for a suite and a room with double beds for our grown kids. The suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location was great with an array of great restaurants all around and a mall, too.
Cons: Our mini refrigerators didn't cool very well. The toilet clogged easily and when we tried to find a staff person to assist, we couldn't find anyone. So, we found a plunger and unclogged it ourselves. Overall the decor was dated and the closet doors in our suite were hung unevenly.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the room was not dusty(lamps, pictures on the wall, head boards, etc.
Cons: I didn’t like that the tub wasn’t as clean. The sink had a slow drain, water puddled up. There was an odor in the room, maybe from the carpet(it seems to hold a musty odor). Lastly, I saw a dried up spill of something on the base of one of the beds, the cleaning crew may have missed it because it was not out in the open(it was on the side of the bed)

Pros: Bed was comfortable and the door locked. Desk clerks were courteous at least.
Cons: You could tell the shower hadn’t been cleaned. It was 85 degrees in the room when I walked in. I understand cooling cost but good lord it took that ac unit 8 hours to cool the room to where I wasn’t sweating. The booking agent got me this reservation based on my dog being with me and the morning checkout clerk said they don’t allow pets. They threatened to charge me but ending up didn’t. The breakfast was laughable at best.

Pros: The location and the informative staff
Cons: The breakfast was sparce in the offerings
5,0 Okay
Pros: It seemed clean, large refrigerator with freezer Location is very easy accessible, but a bit noisy and suspect neighborhood
Cons: It smelled moldy, I could not sleep all night. On the booking it appears it is a non smoking, no pet hotel. At the reception they asked me if I prefer a smoking or non smoking room... I noticed later on the booking comments that one guy came with the dog and finally they let him with the dog. Good for him... bad for me. I am allergic to mold, pets, smoking... so terrible night.
