Metro station is very close to the hotel. Parking is cheap, 5 euro\night and it is underground. Did not take breakfast, so can't tell anyhing. Room/bathroom is clean. There is a tea pot in the room.
Beds are very narrow. No slippers (even though they claim to be 4* hotel).
Yes... the property may be super duper but if not maintained and if the supporting staff aren’t helping you To plug the holes and make you comfortable... it’d not be a pleasant stay. Here we had requested for walk in bathrooms and the room given had a TUB. With a handicapped and an old Mother it’s impossible for them to shower. Explained this to Sofia at the front office. She appreciated it... and her first response was that there are no rooms With walk in shower but when I explained the challenges... she took it up with her colleagues and some seniors and they discussed and fortunately I had an interconnected room which had a shower, though at a slightly raised level and it was assigned to us ... So nice of her and her colleagues who decided in the spot to help and did it. Subsequent days we met up with Paula at the front office and she had the patience and passion to explain us the various sight seeing and entertainment programs and she always welcomes With a BIG smile Halo... Nice people ... not to be left out, in the breakfast area, the lady out there always takes special care to find us seat for the wheel Chair borne my family members... Nice of her. The room had a great ocean view...
The property looks to be a old one and needs a deep maintenance in a many areas 1. The shower water doesn’t get drained... gives a dirty feeling to stand In the soap water and continue showering- possibly the drainage ducts needs some Pressure cleaning to unclog any dirt stuck midway 2. The internet keeps flipping. You’re on laptop working on something and the internet suddenly goes off ... it was quite frustrating and even front office / support staff can’t help and they need to send a mail to IT and they need to resolve. This area needs to be attended to in priority. 3. The barman in the ground floor should Learn to smile ... it’d go a long way
The staff were great
The location is a bit far from most interesting sights The room was a bit musty
Good quality Good customer service Good location Good views from my room
Big underground parking. Metro station nearby.
We were told we can get a room with a king size bed but the size of the bed was just 140 cm wide so it was a nightmare to sleep in it with a child in the middle - unacceptable for a 4 star hotel, we had bigger beds in 1-2 stars hotels.
