Pros: The location is amazing and the staff very nice.
Cons: We had some exchange about breakast as i asked if i had to come with my own gluten free bread but i was kindly replied that some cpuld be procured. Unfortunately on the day this was not the case which was a bit sad as i could have brought some and have better breakast.

Pros: This is a neat, clean, friendly place to stay, at a good price point. The staff is very helpfull. This hotel is a bit outside the city center but located in a quite, modern, residential area. The photos give a good impression of the place. Our room was clean, with enough towels, a hairdryer, we could open the window (I really like that, not always possible in hotels). The breakfast was good, decent choice. .

Cons: The dimensions of the room, I was feeling like in a prison cell. The view through the window. In fact, outside of the windows were a lot of dirties. I paid in advance 10€/person for the breakfast and there it was 6,5€.

On small note; our bathroom floor had a broken tile under the shower that could be fixed, anything other than that; I would recommend this hotel to others.

Cons: Rooms were very dusty and warm. Unfortunately, the windows could not be opened, making it very warm and uncomfortable inside. The breakfast area is, furthermore, too small to accommodate all hotel guests. The breakfast is sufficient, but certainly not great. Parking is rather expensive, but considering the location of the hotel, extreme useful for parking your car!

Cons: Taking a shower was unpleasant, water was alternating between either too hot or too cold. Also, the shower needed some maintenance, it was falling apart somewhat. The bathroom fixtures looked a bit worn.

Pros: The hotel was in a fantastic location right near the train station and central square. It was clean and perfect for our stay as we spent most of the time exploring. We didn't use any public transport as you could walk everywhere.

Pros: The location of the hotel was very central to the town. The gentleman at reception was very helpful in guiding us to the secure car park round the corner. It cost just under 17 Euros for 24 hrs but it was worth it as parking on the main one-way system was not an option. The hotel is near the train station and we were recommended a restaurant near it, which was very good. Breakfast buffet was good and on demand, I was given gluten free options. We only stayed one night and didn't get to see much of Lille itself but we'll come back to properly visit and the Grand Hotel is a hotel we would come back to.

Pros: We booked this hotel due to its location and we weren't disappointed. About ten minutes walk from the two railway stations and with lots of bars and eateries in the vicinity. The staff were welcoming and friendly and reception was manned at all times with good security. Our double room faced the street looking out to St Maurice church. There was little street noise during our stay so with the comfortable bed, we slept well. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and were exactly as seen on the website. Great shower with plenty of hot water. There was a radiator in our room which was good as it was very cold during our visit. We opted for breakfast on our last day. Felt it was a bit pricey at 8 euros each, but having eaten elsewhere on previous days, it was actually worth the money as we had a decent piece of baguette and lovely fresh croissant each, along with a yogurt and carton of fruit, glass of orange juice and our wee coffee jug held two cups each! Lovely! Previous breakfasts were around 5 euros each for one coffee and one thin baguette or croissant. Our room also had a safe which was free to use. We would recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Nothing. Only negative comment would be that the lift is tiny. At least it works and easy to take separate trips if you have a lot of luggage.

Cons: I would have liked a separate face towel (in retrospect I probably should have asked at reception). The lift is very small, so it’s not easy to fit two people and their baggage in together, but it’s not a big issue.

Cons: Noisy (town centre don’t know what I was expecting) and I couldn’t open the shower gel provided and the shower could have used some maintenance work.

Pros: The fact it is close to the train station and the city.
Cons: Breakfast was almost all the time mostly empty whenever you arrived later than 08.30. The two personsbed was two singles pushed together which left a big gap in between and resulted in backpain after one night. The overall state of the hotel was lived in (in need of a good renovation).

Pros: The location was very convenient to the Gare Lille Flandres. The room was clean and reasonably quiet for the location and the price of the hotel was much better than other nearby choices. The mattress was comfortable. The hotel accepted my dog for a small surcharge without any issues. The staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: Nothing really to report here. I suppose that some of the hotel decor was a bit outdated, but this was not an issue for me personally.

Cons: The bathroom door could not be locked. The room got rather cold over night.

Pros: The beds were fairly comfortable and the location was really good.
Cons: I was given a 2-bed room, not what I asked for, and the halls were absolutely filthy. The room itself was fairly clean, except for the fact that that bathroom looked like it belonged on an airplane. It took us forever to be checked in and when I asked a staff member for a WiFi password he acted like it was a crazy request.

Pros: The position is really central and you can walk everywhere from the hotel. The room was cleaned everyday, not the cleanest place i’ve ever seen but it was clean enough.
Cons: The 2 beds room was small, dark and with absolutely no wardrobe or space to put clothes and luggage in. The bathroom was made of plastic and extremely small, shower almost unlivable, and water was going everywhere. We were given only two towels for shower, no hand towel. After 2 nights the toilet broke so we had to move room at midnight, got a room that smelled of smoke and the smell did not go away not even after 2 days of constant open window. We also found a cockroach. Only two plugs for electricity in the room and far from the bed. One nightstand for two people. Internet was extremely slow or not working at all. Absolutely too expensive for the service and not worth the money!
