10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were lucky to have the rooms that opened up to the gardens.Everything was perfect from the lovely room, to the garden, and the cozy breakfast room. The hosts, Lou and Graham, thought of everything to make our stay so special - from the fresh flowers and candy in our room, lavender spray by the bed, the most delicious made to order breakfast and even a small flashlight on the bedside table. This B&B has it all.
Cons: I honestly can’t think of a single thing.

Pros: The room we stayed was so cozy, and of course, the breakfast was also great. They prepare it after we seated, therefore we can always enjoy warm meal. Pros: This is a lovely place to stay. Friendly greeting, fresh flowers and fruit in our room, comfortable bed with nice toiletries in the bathroom through to a fabulous breakfast with homemade fruit salad. Loved it!
Cons: There's only one pub in the village doing food, so make sure you get in the door before they finish serving, otherwise it's a bit of a drive to another village.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We love our room which has more than we needed. A lot of thought has been put in for the comfort of their guests including a lavender spray, chocolates etc. We had a garden room where we could sit and enjoy the air and flowers in the garden. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. There is a pub next to it which serves a wide menu for dinner. Food was good. I absolutely recommend Guiting Guest House for your break in the Cotswold.

Pros: The room was a great size, roll top bath in the room, plus separate shower ensuite. It was beautifully decorated with a view over the Market Square, complimentary bar and lovely toiletries, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Residents bar was closing just as we returned to the hotel from our night out (just after 11pm ) which was a shame as it was supposed to be open to residents until midnight.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Lots of nice little touches
Cons: The town church chiming the hour all through the night......

Pros: Liked the decor. Found the coffee making machine confusing. Tried to make coffee but it turned out to be tea which didn't taste good. Otherwise everything was excellent.
Cons: See above.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish property with excellent staff, food and service. Great location being centrally located to many other Cotswold villages in the area. Staff are very helpful with tips for things to do. We will definitely return.
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely location. Very stylish decor. Right in the village Garden rooms were lovely
Cons: Room didn't have any space to 'live in' with the bath and basin in the bedroom, low beams and too much arty stuff. Nowhere to lay cases or toilet bags, limited hanging space. Parking was really hard to find - staff stood inside, pointing outside and reeling off names - a little map would have been so nice, especially with the fair parked right outside the hotel door to confuse first time visitors more
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was terrific and a good base to get around the Cotswolds from. The bedroom was extremely comfortable, spacious and homely, with lots of nice touches (tea and coffee machine, complimentary minibar, TV with Netflix accessibility)
Cons: The water went off one day which meant we had a cold shower, but that was only once. Parking can be a bit limited but we always found a space outside. Generally had very little to complain about!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location and beatifully refurbished.
Cons: Hated Leaving

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location good. Food was good. Very clean spacious room. Housekeepers left me a rose and some chocolates in my room as it was Birthday while I was staying. Was a lovely surprise.
Cons: Was a bit disappointed on first evening as although staff were very helpful overall there was one very unhelpful waitress. We had booked a table for dinner but they had given it to someone else. She just said no idea where you will sit and sat us in corridor and ignored us. Had to speak to Manager after a long wait and he found us a table straight away. Meal was served a lot later than we wanted although it was a very good meal. Shame that this happened on first night. The other members of staff were always polite and helpfull

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough for you. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay again.
5,5 Okay
Pros: The downstairs room on the 1st night was very nice.I did receive a call from the Hotel explaining their was a problem & I could either cancel or move to another room for 2nd night.Decided not to cancel due to it recently being my Birthday & our dog had passed away suddenly a few weeks ago.On arrival there was a lovely card from sll the staff at The Hotel together with a bucket of fizz on a tray with two glasses. This was a lovely touch.
Cons: There were no ironing boards/irons in the rooms.I had taken a brand new travel iron but it didnt work!At reception we later found the board & iron is meant not to be taken to rooms, even though my partner had already asked at reception & was told it was fine. Also in the downstairs room the shower leaked like a wet room! The breakfast was abit chaotic & some cups smelt as if the dishwasher needed to be cleaned.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Pros: Brilliant location, 30 second walk to the river and very central location. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and lovely breakfast! Classy and modern building.

Pros: What gorgeous apartments that are fully equipped with new kitchens and bathrooms. Daniel went the extra mile in accommodating all of our family in two apartments. Nicely decorated too and check in was easy. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants...great location.
Cons: Everything was great.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was huge! Everything was like in the picture. It was so comfortable staying there. The view from the window was amazing and I loved the small garden inside the area. And many many restaurants nearby. The private car park was also appreciated. They already mentioned about many steps to get to the room but actually it was harder than I thought. Basically, the whole place is on the second floor with narrow stairs and our room is on the third floor but that makes the place do charming. Just want to say that it might not suitable for elderies with walking difficulty and people with big luggage. For us we had both but staff was so kind and helped us carry all the luggage all the way up.
Cons: It was hard to adjust the shower temperature in one of our bathrooms and part of towel came out when I dried myself.... already informed the staff so I don't think it will be problem again. Anyway, I think it worth staying here and I would stay again.
5,0 Okay
Cons: It must be highlighted the number of steps to the apartments . NOT SUITABLE FOR THE DISABLED!!!!! The showers on the first floor very HOT and the second floor COLD
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Good location, comfortable apartment, friendly helpful host
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic apartments. We stayed for a short break in a 2 bedroom both with en-suite which was lovely and very spacious for 4 of us plus our dog. It had everything we needed including complimentary hospitality tray and reasonably priced cold drinks - including wine/beer- in the fridge. Fantastic location beautiful view of the church and a lovely secluded garden to sit and relax in. Daniel (Manager) is on site if you need anything at all. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Central location to Stow, extremely comfy apartment with good facilities and lovely outside space. Great car parking for free.
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! The apartments were a lot bigger than expected and resembled a country barn/house, amazing parking opposite the hotel and although on the main road rooms are set back making them quiet and peaceful. There was a little courtyard/garden with tables and chairs if you wanted to sit outside. Our room was super clean and spacious with a large living area, kitchen/dinner and two large bedrooms both with eusuits. Kitchen fridge was filled with alcoholic and soft drinks to purchase if we wished and complimentary teas and coffee. Check in we were greeted and shown to our room and check out was told to leave keys on the table and door unlocked.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very detailed and prompt communication prior to stay. Excellent location and parking. Very accommodating and personable Manager together with helpful and effective staff. Spacious living area and two good bathrooms. Generally clean. Main living area tastefully furnished.
Cons: Some noise of traffic and Church bells. This particular apartment No 2 looked a little tired. Dirty carpet leading to apartment, lack of bedside lamps, showers were working but were temperamental and loose on their fittings. Evidence of damp around kitchen plug sockets. Some bare wall space with a fixing but no picture! Mentioned to Manager on leaving and he explained that the apartment we were in was due to be refurbished once the season had ended. He showed me a more update apartment and it was excellently furnished so in future seasons I think that the above issues will be resolved.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Unicorn Aparthotel complex is a the back of a lovely store on the corner. It is a short walk to the town square and historic sights. Entrance is with a keypad through a gate and into the delightful grounds. We had room 5, with 2 lovely bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, very spacious eat in kitchen and living room with big comfy leather sofa. The decor is very stylish.
Cons: We arrived after 5pm on a Sunday after a long journey and the the telephone number on the gate did not answer. However we gained access as another guest was letting a friend in and she was kind enough to explain the code to the key pad and help us find our apartment as they are spread around. Unfortunately we had a lot of luggage as we are on a touring holiday for 6 weeks so there were stairs to struggle with but we managed ok. We were obviously expected as the key was waiting in the door for us. I would have saved us all a bit of angst had I checked my emails prior to our arrival as I would have seen that our host had sent me perfect instructions setting out the key pad codes and all the details I needed.

Pros: Loved Room 1, absolutely breath-taking in terms of size, bathroom as well as attention to detail with toiletries and supply of Dyson Hairdryer.
Cons: Location was a little further out of town centre than we'd anticipated however this wouldn't put us off revisiting and staying again.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Staff went out of their ways to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was good but the meal on Prithvi was exceptional so !
Cons: Enough hanging space for a couple of nights but little drawer space which was difficult as we Serengeti g 3 nights.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Happy to provide crockery and cutlery for my takeaway Fresh milk in bar Room prepped for the heatwave with fan on and door opened Great bed and pillows
Cons: I didn't realised the restaurant was closed on Mondays
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating of our sixth month year old - especially at breakfast. The building is beautiful and all of the services and atmosphere were spot on.
Cons: Although rare in this country, the building does not deal well with heatwaves at all, and it was insanely stifling. Not the staff’s fault, as I understand it’s a grade 2 listed building and air conditioning isn’t possible. However, considering the price of our stay, maybe they could put in one of those Dyson fans? Anyway, that’s a minor thing and we loved our stay regardless.
7,5 Good
Pros: Love the whole hotel!
Cons: Stayed here before and paid less for a room which included breakfast and was a much nicer room (had a bath in the bedroom as well as double shower in bathroom) this room felt much smaller and cost more but didn’t include breakfast?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent as was our dinner, a most enjoyable stay, an outstanding stay. When travelling to relatives in Devon again you can be sure our stop off midway will be at No. 38 The Park.
Cons: Nothing.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect for our needs; we were in Cheltenham for the Cricket Festival, so a five minute stroll. We were very well treated by the owners, who were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of very fine restaurants and pubs nearby.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the friendliness of the owners, they were very helpful and arranged for us to leave our car in a parking area after we had checked out so we could enjoy our day. The location was fabulous, a short walk only a few minutes to the centre of Cheltenham. The room was beautiful and big for a twin and the breakfast tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend and would stay again if I’m in the area.
Cons: All perfect
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The service provided at this hotel was exemplary. Staff were proactive in giving detailed local information relevant to the interests of each guest (in my case, directions to the PIttville Pump Rooms, as well as telling me about the statue of Gustav Holst in Imperial Gardens). Breakfast was fresh and filling with plenty of choice (including vegetarian options). Room was well furnished (including an electric fan and several choices of coffee and tea) and clean. Private bathroom was very close to room in corridor, and could be locked from inside and/or outside. Hotel also has a lounge area for guests, with a selection of books, brochures, and magazines available for perusal. This hotel is located very centrally, with good bus connections to surrounding areas (the main bus interchange is on the Promenade, although there is also the 99 bus, which has a stop a very short walk away). It should be noted that Cheltenham Spa railway station is some distance to the west of the town centre (it took me about half-an-hour to walk from there with a suitcase; for those who prefer not to walk that distance, there are plenty of buses and taxis -- staff can provide information and/or make taxi bookings). If visiting Cheltenham in the future, I would happily stay at this hotel again.
Cons: Although Bath Parade (the street on which the hotel is located) was peaceful, the vicinity has a number of pubs that played loud amplified music late at night (I was staying over the weekend). Also, the window of the room was aligned quite directly with a powerful LED streetlamp that was on all night, meaning that, notwithstanding the substantial curtains, the room was uncomfortably light for sleeping. Fortunately, a blindfold and earplugs were among the items provided in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much the perfect B and B. Lovely staff, comfy bed, very clean, super location and excellent breakfast. If only all B and Bs were made like this.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful Buildings, lovely beer garden, very good breakfast, perfect location for a short visit to the Cotswolds
8,0 Excellent
Pros: A wide selection of unusual dishes at breakfast, , I had eggs with mushrooms and goat's cheese, which was delicious.
Cons: After spending the night, we booked a table for lunch for a disabled friend and ourselves. We went to the restaurant, were told it was closed and should go to the bar. We went to the bar, only to be told that it was full and we must go back to the restaurant. This was most difficult for our friend as walking is difficult. We had booked a table, but where was it? We had a pleasant stay, but this was somewhat spoiled by our reception at lunchtime.

Pros: Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Perfect location to explore the Cotswolds and hiking distance to other beautiful towns. Lovely gardens and very helpful staff.

Pros: As discussed direct with the manager, the only problem was the mattress & pillows. Too uncomfortable to sleep. He has agreed to try it for himself!

Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: It would have been better if there had been a bistro style option as well for dinner, rather than just the two fine dining choices.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful village, making for a relaxing stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful, and offer suggestions on walks and other activities. Room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant has excellent and interesting food, and as an alternative the lighter bar food is very good. On a nice day it is great to sit at the outside tables and relax. We went on two very nice walks to Stow-on-the-Wold (6 miles round trip) and to Burton-on-the-water (4 miles round trip). Both had great pubs to call in to and easy walking through country trails.
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: most of the staff were very nice and helpful. unfortunately the person greeting us upon check-in never even stood up from her small desk to welcome us. I had asked for a recommendation for dinner in the local area one night during our stay and she said one of the porters could help with that. That was a surprise to the porter and we never did get help with that. the house and grounds are beautiful. dinner was very nice. the location is a great base for visiting the upper cotswalds.
Cons: our room was very small
7,5 Good
Pros: Garden setting and comfortable room. Good breakfast.
Cons: Service was patchy, some great people, others off- hand and a bit negligent. Bar service over priced.

Cons: Some dishes in menu were not impressive eg pear tart tatin- pastry raw on base
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was near perfect, room was pretty and quiet, overlooking the garden, bed was comfy, bathroom was pretty and well thought. There is also a convenient parking.
Cons: There was only one place ( on the coffee stand) to plug in one's phone chargers and one's computer, but there was only one armchair nearby. It would be more convenient if there was socket behind the table near the sofa.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: A lovely building, friendly helpful staff, great meals including good tasty gluten free options
Cons: Stable rooms a little on the small side, next time we will book premium rooms as it is a place to return to!

Pros: Very friendly and the food was nice
Cons: When we booked it showed a picture of the town but it is usually out of town, too far to walk, need a car. Small room.

Pros: Fantastic staff and beautiful hotel. They went out of their way to make our stay extra special.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant. Stunning location and buildings. Really first class service from all members of staff. A treat to have a properly cooked breakfast if desired, served at the table. Hotels like this are an absolute joy and a far cry from the plastic, modern variety.
Cons: Water from the shower leaked onto the floor outside causing minor flooding which had to be mopped up with the towels.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff Hotel Location Room
Cons: Food in brasserie Curtains do not block the light
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was exceptionally comfy, the grounds and outdoor pool were beautiful and well kept. Dinner was fantastic, compliments to the chefs.
Cons: The shower area in our room required some updating, the shower door did not seem to fit well, tiles and grout were dirty and there were a few stains on the carpet. The spa area was cold, whilst getting a massage the room was cold so the experience was not as relaxing. The restaurant and seating area was cold also, we heard a few guests complain of this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming and friendly staff who wanted to serve including our wonderful porter Kevin and a delightful employee named Florian. The property was immaculate and stunningly beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and I feel truly blessed to have stayed there for 3 nights.
Cons: The lack of lift (although I understand given the historic nature of the property) for our first room that was up approx. 45 stairs.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and building
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was outstanding, the facilities were great and the communal areas, bar and grounds were really well kept. We had a special occasion so were gifted a bottle of prosecco and given complimentary drinks in the bar area the following day. The staff could not have been faulted at all, everyone was very polite and helpful and really went above and beyond to make our stay special. The spa made a nice addition and all the little extra touches were really good.
Cons: We were located in the rooms surrounding the pool area which was great, however the stairs to our room and the corridors were in need of a good hoover and dust, lots of cobwebs and stuff on the floor. The majority of the room was immaculate but there were areas around the windows, especially in the bathroom and nooks and crannies which were pretty dirty. This was not really the case anywhere else just where we were staying. We stayed for two nights and had room service on the first night and the maids took the tray out in the morning but left it just on the landing, where it stayed until we left the following day. Which was pretty disappointing as there was food still left on the plates.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fabulous in every respect. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing at all
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spotless and the staff were very helpful
Cons: The a la carte restaurant was closed for two days of our stay which I wouldn't expect from a hotel claiming to be five star. However, the food in the horsebox was superb compared to the main restaurant. We paid over £300 for a meal for two which included the tasting menu. The second course of ravioli was very poor - too much soy and hard pasta, the desert of a raspberry pasta with pesto ice cream filling didn't work at all and our wine didn't arrive until after our first course was done. A very disappointing end to our stay.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere and super staff attention
Cons: Nothing!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel, had a lovely stay. Thank you so much for the upgrade to the wonderful suite
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, sumptuous accommodation with very comfortable bed and linen, soft fluffy towels, great toiletries(first time I have ever taken part used bottles with me). Wonderful evening restaurant
Cons: My only negative was the full english breakfast. We did get down to breakfast toward the end of service but the food was dried out and portions mean. Half a mushroom, half a piece of black pudding and the smallest piece of fried bread ever seen, a small circle not much bigger than a 50p coin. Recommend you order fresh from the a la carte menu, eg eggs Benedict. That is what we will do the next time we stay.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: All the food was excellent and all of the staff were attentive and friendly. Everything is clean and there's a good eye for detail in terms of services offered
Cons: There was a small error on the final bill, a supplement of £20 was added when we were told that the evening meal has been upgraded for free. This is only a minor issue, we really enjoyed our time at The Greenway
5,8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful hotel in, a beautiful location.
Cons: If you wish to use their swimming pool or gymnasium you have to pay an additional £25 per person! Really disappointing!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom and the food served was excellent
Cons: I did not like being asked for £25/person to use the pool. The gardens are a disgrace
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Stunning location and hotel. Great staff Would recommended to everyone, we will return at some point. Hotel was large and clean, as was grounds.
Cons: Nothing
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property & grounds
Cons: I don’t think anyone should have to pay £25 to use a pool when you consider how expensive it is to stay here.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing, very helpful and polite. The ambience was relaxing and tranquil during our stay, even with a wedding being held. The food is wonderful. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and seating.
Cons: Unfortunately we were woken at 4am the first night by a couple screaming at each other!! Not the hotel's fault but for an establishment of this standard we were shocked that this occured. Then we were woken at 6amish by staff walking continually backwards and forwards along the gravel paths taking equipment to the lawns for an event. Might have been better to wait until later especially as it was a Sunday morning.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: history of theproperty, quietness, traditional style, breakfast, most of all, the beautiful garden
Cons: GPS did not show accurate arrival. the mainentrance is on the highway, but GPS guided us to Greenway Lane, where no proper car entrance.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The B&B was in an excellent location being within a short stroll of the town and all it's attractions and places to eat. Our room was comfortable, quite spacious and fitted out really well. The staff were friendly though not on site in the evenings which may have been an issue if there had been a problem. Breakfast was ample and there was plenty of choice for the cooked selections.
Cons: On arrival we weren't introduced though we gave our names and we weren't told how our host could be contacted if there was a problem. The information folder in our room was a bit sparse containing only restaurant recommendations but little else, no ideas for places to visit or walks local to the area, map of the town, where to find information centre etc and no password to access Wifi which was disappointing. We had to find that out from another guest. There was no fresh milk for drinks in our room and when we asked for some it was given very reluctantly. We were given some the following day without having to ask though. I was slightly disappointed in our room being on the ground floor next to the front door and the road so I was concerned that there would be some issues with noise from the traffic and guests coming in at night but the road became very quiet later on and we weren't disturbed. Overall we weren't overly impressed and didn't really feel it was value for money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, parking an asset.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location, nicely decorated and clean.
Cons: As we were on the top floor the shower kept losing pressure, and there was a slight unpleasant smell in the bathroom,

Pros: Right from the start, everything was lovely - from the warm and jolly welcome, to the very comfy room, to the perfectly cooked breakfast which would keep you going the whole day. The location was perfect too which meant you didn't have to travel too far to other little Cotswold gems.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the Lansdowne - it was all lovely. The only downside about my visit was the mass of tourists - next time I'll go at a quieter time of year.
