5,0 Okay
Pros: Location is good - close to Gunstock
Cons: Really noisy wall heater.
5,1 Okay
Pros: It was right on the lake which was nice, there was a bar/restaurant on the water, and fire pits to enjoy on a small beach. The landscaping was pretty and well kept. Plenty of parking as well.
Cons: Hotel public areas and the Room were extremely out dated. Furniture, rugs, bathroom were in poor condition, and hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Formica counter in the bathroom was peeling off, door knobs so old they were pitted and rusted. The sliding door to outside didn’t open, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for a lake view room. Small, loud ac unit in the room was the only source of air. It was way over-priced.
4,0 Okay
Cons: Parking at the hotel was terrible. I had to park my trailer across the street and walk a 1/4 mile to my room that was located near the water. This is a really nice motel at best. Rooms were small and the cable takes forever to switch channels. I wouldn’t take my kids here because the smell of marijuana in my hallway was everywhere. The access to the bay was blocked off by orange gating and when I ask if there was access to the bay when I booked I got no answer from anyone.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The view of the lake is very nice.
Cons: I booked a three-day stay because of the resort's location on the lake. It was Thanksgiving weekend, and I expected that it would be quiet, which it was - mostly. Being a resort which caters to weddings, I expected some nice accommodations. However, I was seriously disappointed. The bathroom was in dire need of an upgrade. The fixtures were old and the veneer around the bathroom sink was chipped in spots. Not only did it look unsightly, it made me wonder how it could be kept clean. The water pressure in the shower was very good, but the shower was narrow, and the curtain kept clinging to me, making for an uncomfortable experience. A curved shower curtain rod would help. The internet was just ok. I was trying to play an on-line game, and it kept freezing. There were no easily-accessible electrical outlets. We had to search around to find a place to charge our phones and finally had to move a nightstand to get one. For the first two nights, there was no one in the room next to us, so we did have quiet. However, on the third night, we came home to find that a family was in the room next to us. Certainly not a problem, except that we could hear everything they were saying through the adjoining door. And, if we could hear them, we knew they could hear us. Because it was our last night and we were exhausted from the day's activities, we did ask to be moved. However, we left very early the next morning. Upon checking out, I did speak with the person at the front desk and was told that this building is due for upgrades (I would say way past due). They claim to be a resort with resort pricing but motel-quality accommodations. It's too bad, because it is a lovely spot on the lake.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolute attention to clients! Check out the game room at night, it’s like walking through the halls of the Shining!
Cons: Everything was great!
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No
8,0 Excellent
Pros: the view of the lake
Cons: no
6,3 Good
Cons: The staff was relatively short in conversation and seemed to be annoyed by questions. There was no water fountain to refill water and the soda machine did not work. The breakfast was very basic and presented in a not very appealing way. The pool area was accessed with shoes which made it seem unhygienic.

Cons: Bar and boat docks by swimming beach.Water was dirty. Not kid friendly beach area.Came for the lake.Posted fireworks on sign when I checked in Saturday.Kids stayed up eagerly til 10. Went to front desk & were told (nicely) that they were "last night".
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Clean, comfortable room with a great view of the lake. Very quiet too. I had read some bad reviews and was alittle apprehensive about staying there but my experience was very good.
Cons: When taking a shower the shower curtain kept touching me. The bottom should be weighted to keep it straight.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Breakfast bar
Cons: Small bathroom, very noisy

Pros: Dirty and used shampoo bottles
Cons: Most of it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The lady at the front desk. I didn't get hr name. She was working the afternoon and evening of October 17th. Outstanding at customer service.
Cons: nope
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff were helpful, and the lobby area was well organized. The location of this hotel - downtown Laconia - is its best attribute.
Cons: There was nail polish stained to the desk. Lots of hair in the shower. The sheets on one of the beds in the room smelled like urine. The heating and cooling fan was old and loud, which woke me up multiple times in the middle of the night. I am surprised this hotel is a Best Western Plus.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The main lobby is well organized. The location of the hotel - downtown Laconia - is its best attribute. The staff were helpful.
Cons: There was nail polish stained to the desk. Hair in shower. There were two queen beds in room. The sheets on one of them smelled like urine. The room's fan/heater was old and loud. Breakfast mediocre. Hard to believe this is a Best Western Plus.
5,0 Okay
Pros: NOT OPEN WHEN SCHEDULED. SHOULD HAVE COFFEE EARLIER THAN 7
Cons: BAGS OF TRASH IN COMMON AREA NEXT TO ELEVATOR OVER NIGHT.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The heat/ac unit fan kept going off and on all the time. Couldn't sleep very well
7,0 Good
Cons: Small bathroom, thin walls could hear neighbor
1,0 Poor
Pros: There was nothing we liked about this hotel.
Cons: Everything was filthy! They had documents that showed our rooms were never cleaned, and they still put us in the room. We had to clean the bathroom with cleaner provided by them and change our sheets. The clean sheets and blankets we're still dirty as well. It's ashamed that paying guests had to do the work of a housekeeper due to the lack of management by the company. We would've left, but we had nowhere else to go at ten at night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The breakfast seemed like it had been sitting out too long and on the second day everything was exactly the same as if they just kept putting out the same food from the previous day. There was cut up cantaloupe that I know was from the previous day because it was going bad. Also there wasno toilet paper or tissues in the room.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The toilet worked and there was hot water
Cons: This hotel is under construction. Not minor. MAJOR. The room had many issues with non-functional devices, eg lamps not working, shower not working. It smelled bad. It is a shame the owners decided to let greed overrule a good customer experience.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving it
Cons: Everything! It was dirty and lack of pride in their work.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. The free breakfast was good.
Cons: The front desk was rude. Didnt want to help me and my girlfriend with anything.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view from the balcony. The room was super clean. Comfortable beds. Loved the bathroom and toiletries provided. Blue Bistro (the resort restaurant) was EXCELLENT. Save room for dessert!
Cons: N/A
7,0 Good
Pros: If was perfectly fine. The bed was comfotable and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: The room needs and update. The bathroom was era 1960 (I haven't seen a two-handled bathtub faucet since my childhood). Again, it was perfectly fine for an overnight stay, but in comparison to most hotels it is outdated.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location & beach bar
Cons: Fire alarm went off early am, no fire problem with alarm Didn’t like that they didn’t work with me to upgrade the room. Would have stayed a second night if they had
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It's all about the staff. And when the staff is excellent, the cleanliness usually follows. This is an older building but really well cared for. The room, bathroom, carpets were spotless!!
Cons: The bed was a little soft, but the pillows were excellent.
6,3 Good
Pros: The location on the lake was beautiful but we had booked a room on the other side. Even though the motel was empty, they could have given us a lake view room
Cons: When checking in we asked for a quiet room as we do where ever we are checking in. The lady on reception wasn't able to understand our request and replied saying that there was nothing she could do and if there was excessive noise then to contact reception. She also didn't mention that the restaurant was closed on the Monday and Tuesday nights. Lucky we ate there on the Sunday night which was absolutely delicious but the service was a bit pushy as we wanted to sit at the bar for a bit before being seated to the table. So we had to drive to somewhere to have dinner rather than walk as all was closed at this time of the year. The bathroom was very small and the beds not long enough for my hubby (okay for me) and very very soft - almost like water beds - not sure if it was the age of the beds. This "motel" requires alot of upgrading to be called a Resort.

Pros: No heat at all! Had to turn oven on and keep door open to heat the place! No hot water at all! Called to office 4 different times to get them to fix the water and heat! He told me if I called again they were going to call the cops and have us removed from the propertie! For paying $150.00 it was not worth it at all. Horrible customer service. I could've stayed in a run down roach motel played $40.00 and have heat & or water!!!!
Cons: No heat no hot water horrible customer service
5,8 Okay
Pros: Cute building, good location.
Cons: Cold! No heat, though the space heaters let us keep 2 rooms warm , it was hard to get a comfortable temp. Nothing was comfortable- pillows were awful, couch and chair were rock hard. So while it was cute and clean , there was zero attention to comfort at all.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage was nice for the price. It had a bathroom and a decent bed, along with fridge and microwave.
Cons: There wasn't too much wrong with the cottage. If there was one thing I had to choose it would be that the sheets had a weird stain on them.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, comfort
Cons: All good
7,9 Good
Pros: The check in and check out was easy and man was polite
Cons: I thot price was high for standard room
6,0 Good
Pros: Location was excellent for Dinner Cruise on Mt Washington at the pier. Could walk too and from event with no problems. Room was clean and comfortable for a Motel. Nothing fancy.
Cons: No staff in office. Sign says to call to be let in or ring bell if no phone. Rang bell - they tell you to call! Great! I have an old phone, not great hearing and would have been nice to be able to talk in person to someone in office rather than some unknown person at some unknown location. Wanted to ask about breakfast places in area; but, when you don't know where the heck the person is that's giving you info is located - doesn't make much sense. We got our keys and it was very impersonal. Woman was very nice on phone and I could hear; but, didn't give me any warm and fuzzy feeling if I had problems at all. Convenient for cruise; but, would find a different place in future if not needed for that. One where someone was willing to meet and greet me!
7,1 Good
Pros: great cabin except beds being uncomfortable.
Cons: beds were uncomfortable
8,2 Excellent
Pros: We really liked the location and also that they had so many cottages that we are thinking of going up with a group of friends. I would recommend it for it's value.
Cons: The thing I didn't like was the bathroom was outdated and there was no place to put your toiletries. Also I felt like the toilet was coming off the wall.
