Pros (+) Location was great! Breakfast was great! We had a door from our that went out to the beach, that was awesome!
Cons (-) Over all a great stay, but with all my experiences, I would have expected the staff to be more friendly and the whole place, especially the room, to be more clean. Cleanliness was not great at all!

Cons (-) The staff just didn’t pay attention to guests. Check in process was slow. Property shows signs of wear and tear which is surprising as we went before the season started. Amenities don’t reflect the price we paid. Beds are uncomfortable as if you’re laying on a bunch of sprints. Linens were smelly. Curtains didn’t work. Blackout curtains didn’t close completely. Pros (+) The location was near the ocean. I liked the location and the small shaded table on the deck.
Cons (-) Two elevators to get to my room. When I chose to take the stairwell it smelt of urine, dampness and mold. No exhaust fan in the bathrooms. Outside balcony constantly stayed wet from something dripping from above. Pros (+) This hotel was exactly what I wanted it to be - reasonably priced and right on the beach. You know when you're booking a Comfort Inn that it's not going to be a luxury experience, but everything was well-kept and staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Pros (+) We've stayed nearly everywhere on the beach (I grew up on the obx and we come often to visit family). This is one of the cleanest hotels on the beach, and certainly the friendliest staff. It's got its short comings like everywhere else, but it's over all, a great hotel for the (off season/shoulder) price.

Cons (-) No one at front desk for 20 minutes and they didn't answer their phone. Room stunk like a wet dog. Front desk person named Mardi was unprofessional and gruff.
