I finished checking in after I was done I asked to speak with her to see what she meant by her comment she said she was joking and said she was talking to the person at the front desk I told her you were talking to me and that nothing to joke about and I heard you clearly.

Cons: The elevator has serious issues and needs immediate repair work done. It got stuck somewhere around the second floor and just grunted for about a minute to a minute and a half. Then finally finished a grinding, bumpy, and banging journey to the ground floor. when I mentioned a concern the clerk chuckled and said it was no big deal. They might change their tune when a nervous wreck gets stranded in the elevator but that’s their problem not mine.

Cons: An alarm went off outside our room the entire night. The temperature did not warm up to 72 degrees for 15 hours. Outside in the hall it smelled like a toilet or something had overflowed, but luckily did not penetrate our room. It is situated next to the highway, and the road noise was pretty bad. They did however allow us to stay late while we waited on our daughter to be finished at a local college competition that was not out until 1pm.

Pros: The hotel seemed brand new. Everything was spotless! The room was extra large and modernly decorated. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I would definitely return. The outdoor pool and hot tub were very clean. I enjoyed a relaxing time in the hot tub as I enjoyed the beautiful flowering crepe myrtles nearby.

Pros: Traveling with a toddler can be difficult since they go to bed early and can wake up to any little noise. Fortunately, here, we could put him in a separate room and still be comfortable. This hotel was also (mostly) quiet so we were never disturbed and neither was our son. The free continental breakfast was also great. You can't beat all that for $84 a night! We will definitely be staying at these hotels when we travel from now on.
Cons: The location was a little poor, my cousin who is from there told us not to visit bars in the area, or to at least watch out in the parking lot. I also did not feel comfortable parking my car on the backside of the lot.

Cons: I’ve never had an issue with my grandkids coming to visit with me for a few hours in the evening- they are 4 and 5. I come there every 2 weeks for medical appointments and my daughter meets me there for dinner etc and I have the boys sit in the pool or hot tub with me for about an hour. Well this time I had to step out for a minute and my daughter had asked to go into pool area and wait for me and was told sorry you’re a visitor. I mean I do understand policies and all but they weren’t even gonna be allowed when I got there I was told. That’s never happened before. So I guess I wasted my $$$ staying there because the kids love going there and being in the pool and hot tub for awhile- I mean I stepped out for 5 minutes. I’ll just have to use another hotel in Longview from now on.

Pros: I was in Longview for a dog show as were many of the many guests there that weekend. Hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. The staff was wonderful and supportive of these guests with special needs - even added a trash can near grassy area so owners could clean up after their pups.

Cons: The Room - There was a bedside light which was swung off to the side; a bulb behind the large chair was out and shattered, with glass on the carpet; the TV has a major problem with I believe the cable; and finally the bathroom door does not close, latch closed at the handle. The sound and picture freeze but don't return to where they froze, rather moving forward and missing dialogue and picture segments. I reported these to the front desk the morning after we arrived. The shattered bulb was replaced and carpet cleaned up.

Finally on our third try it didn't smell like pee but the room did have a funk. We would have much rather stayed another night across the street but our plans changed last minute and they were full. In the end we did get what we paid for which was a cheap hotel. Food was awful (what else can you expect from free breakfast) and the rooms were not all that great. Would have gotten a refund and left if I hadn't booked through Expedia. Lesson learned.

I travel for business and have a low cap on the amount the company will spend on a room. I have had to stay in scary areas with sketchy people around and less than clean rooms. I will most certainly be finding a way when I am in this area to make this motel my home away from home for as many nights as possible!

Cons: There were holes in the bedroom door like someone had punched it... we have 5 in our group (kids) and adults and they gave us two towels and the lady at the front was rude and we ask for more towels she ask how many we had and how many were in the group and only gave us 2 more towels ..
