Location and price
Parking lot! Fix the potholes!
I liked leaving...
The Trip Hotel is horrible. I would advise anyone not to book hotel reservations at this establishment. They promote a hot breakfast and hardly ever have hot breakfast. When the hot breakfast does arrive it's catered in and it always arrives late (past the scheduled breakfast time). The parking lot is unsafe at night due to there being no lights outside and their parking lot also has large pot holes throughout. It's long overdue that it needs to be paved. In closing for a 2 star hotel rating their prices are extremely outrageous. All in all my trip to Ithaca New York at the Trip Hotel was the trip from Hell.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location.
Rooms were freezing. Window was not attached to the window sill. Shower head needs to be replaced. Parking lot was like the surface of the moon. Lots of potholes.
Everything was great.
I didn't find anything wrong
Nothing. How did this place get 3 stars?! Showed up after dark (in early Nov) and almost didn't even go in with my teenage daughter. Couldn't tell it was a hotel. The unprofessionally dressed woman at the front was pleasant enough to let us see the room first. She said the place was "old". I like old as in refurbished and clean and ratty, rundown. Doable for 1 night only. Mold in the shower; did not use. Sheets so worn unable to tell if they were clean. This place should NOT be open.
