10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, every person we encountered was so nice, outgoing. The appearance of the hotel was very nice, all the little extra touches are what made the stay amazing. We stopped at the same hotel on our way home, great again. The Lake is nice feature.
Cons: That we weren't staying longer. Pillows were the only thing we didn't love, they were not very comfortable or normal in size.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice people check in was quick and easy
Cons: We got some juice from the breakfast bar in the morning, it was nasty. Cool place to stay just bring your own grub
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, slept comfortably in the bed, and their breakfast offerings were good tasting & filling. Coffee was hot & flavorful. It was a great start to the long drive ahead of us. Hampton Inn consistently delivers a high quality experience; I have patronized their properties (including this specific one!) for many years.
Cons: The only downside to my stay was not exactly in the hotel's control -- A fellow traveler somewhere in the building had a noisy dog that barked at length during the middle of the night. I did not contact the front desk -- rather turned over and put the pillows over my ears since I had a long drive to commence in the A.M. I did let the morning desk staff know upon check-out though; they were very considerate and helpful!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about our stay! The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Our complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious. Our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Our service dogs loves it as much as we do!
Cons: The only complaint would be the exhaustion fan in the bathroom didn’t work. A real bummer if you to do something stinky.

Pros: I liked the fact that the young lady at the desk did everything possible to make up for our room not being ready. She was very apologetic and professional. She not only upgraded our room she gave us a gift card to Carrabbas. I was very impressed with her customer service skills. And I thoroughly enjoyed the room and the lake view.
Cons: I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer.

Pros: It was a nice, mostly clean hotel. It does feel like a luxury hotel. Staff seemed friendly. The neighborhood the hotel was in was really nice with close proximity to nice restaurants.
Cons: No free breakfast. In fact I thought the breakfast was ridiculous. $11 each just to eat breakfast is crazy for adults let alone small kids. We went out for breakfast instead and the whole family ate for $15.

Pros: Front desk staff were very friendly. They offered us late checkout at 1pm.
Cons: The hot tub was not appealing. It was rusty and had orange stains in the bottom and on the seats. The shower was very unusually slippery, my fiancé and I both fell. He hurt his hip and has a huge lump on it, but we did not report this. I am only including this for older individuals who may stay here (use with caution). The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. I would recommend bringing your own pillows from home as well. We asked for a later checkout time, which we got, but wasn’t able to enjoy it due to the cleaning staff that morning. They were very loud, yelling and laughing and banging their carts against walls. I normally stay at Hilton’s, but this time I was not impressed.

Overview Reviews
Right in the heart of downtown Columbia on the scenic campus of the University of South Carolina, Graduate Columbia blends historic grandeur with pops of prep for a stay that feels like home. Our South Carolina retreat boasts local charm, with Gamecock-inspired headboards and echoes of “Oot Oot.” Plaids, chevron and touches of grass cloth come together in guestrooms. In the lobby, bright colors and cheery florals pop against dark wood paneling. Take in the bookish surroundings at our lobby-level café, Poindexter Coffee, and fuel your muse with a caffeinated beverage or two.
7,5 Good
Pros: Beds so new and comfy: like sleeping on a cloud! Black out curtains excellent
Cons: Should have more staff to keep the bar open later; particularly on a Saturday night when guests return from an event. 10:30pm is way too early to shut up shop! The one server whose shift was ending sympathised with our hope to get drinks and snacks and also told us that she’d been tending bar alone on New Year, when again many hotel guests were disappointed they couldn’t enjoy a later evening drink. Water should be provided in the rooms. Bathrooms are small.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the decor the best.
Cons: We ordered breakfast and it took over a half hour to receive it. We sat at the bar and the women who were working at the bar would not serve us unless we left our barstools and placed an order near the register where a sign was placed that said 'order he

Pros: Beautifully decorated, great location, friendly staff!! Shout out to staff member Cole for such amazing customer service. He was already on his 12th hour of work when shuttled us over time our destination. Great employee that with a great work ethic. He covered for another employee that didn’t show for work. No doubt he was tired but with his pleasant attitude you couldn’t tell. At Checkout, I look and there was Cole already ready to take in a new day!!

Pros: Location
Cons: The perfume fragrance smell. It is overwhelming when you walk in. Clean and fresh would be better than perfume. I am sure it bothers people with allergies.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Good price and nice facility, friendly staff. Nice grounds.
Cons: I found the bed a pillows comfortable but my wife thought the pillows were too thick. Bathroom floor was clean but had pain splatter on it. No coffee maker in room and only one cup of complimentary coffee in am. Prices for a Coke $3.50 small bottle 10oz and other drinks outrageous. Coffee $3.00 16oz.
7,0 Good
Pros: Cute and charming hotel. Convenient shuttle service.
Cons: Didn’t like that there was hair from the previous lodger in the shower drain and didn’t like the bath products. Despite them being a luxury brand the smells were off putting and didn’t lather well. Would recommend Aveda, Crabtree & Evelyn or any other reputable bath products brand with less offensive smells and better performance.

Pros: location, quiet, nice staff
Cons: a bit overdecorated, which I didn't notice after the first day

Pros: The breakfast was satisfactory - usual hotel breakfast fare. The personalized welcome on the television is akin to what we receive at our timeshare and was definitely appreciated. The pleasantness of Stephanie upon our arrival, was refreshing and helped set the tone for a pleasant stay.
Cons: An indoor pool, a stationary bike in the exercise room, and a more free-flowing (less sluggish) bathroom sink would have made the experience ideal.

Pros: The staff was super nice and the breakfast was decent.
Cons: Extremely dirty, dingy, dusty and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and the room had a stale musty odor to it. Not enough pillows or towels. Worst Marriott I have stayed in.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Not a positive experience when the front desk staff is wearing T-shirts and Tank Tops. Not something I would have expected to see in a Marriott. Also, there wasn't much of a sound barrier between floors. Looked OK from the outside.
Cons: The pull out couch was much smaller than expected. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been and there was signs of a leak around the shower head that hadn't been fixed. The internet wasn't working at all during our entire stay. RM 323.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was very professional and welcoming. We had a two bedroom suite with full kitchen. Everything was clean. At one point we had 8 people in our hotel room and we fit comfortably. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were less than 5min away from Ft. Jackson Army Base which was perfect. The fire pit was lit at night and we sat around the fire for hours at night to wind down from our busy day. If I am ever back in the area and need an extended stay, I would certainly book there again.
Cons: The breakfast needs work. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast but it could be better. There was not much of a hot food choice. But the breakfast staff was very nice and professional so you really could not complain.

Pros: Nothing at all. This property is need of an upgrade and the location is terrible as far as traffic is concerned. I
Cons: The pricing ,carpet was old as well as the furniture. The location is terrible when trying to turn in traffic to get to the hotel. Even the iron is about ten years old.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pillows and bathroom. 4 pillows per bed is outstanding. Traveling all over the country for work, pillows is a quick indicator of the quality of the hotel in general. The showers are legit too. When we remodel the kids bathroom I'll install glass rolling doors and floor drain like they have.
Cons: Only thing I didn't like was the parking lot. The property is set up in an odd way and there is no other option than to run the lot down one side of the hotel and hook it around
