Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful.Cons:
They would not rent me a car without a “credit card” even though my Visa debit card worked just fine for Kayak to make my reservation and charge me $88 for the insurance I ordered for the car. And I requested a refund, but of course that’s a different company, so I have to take it up with them. I emailed the insurance company with no response!2,0 Poor

I did not get a rental he called me at 2pm which was my reservation time to tell me they didnt have pick ups.Cons:
Dont let me reserve something online if its not at the location, online option should say not available.9,2 Wonderful

Pros:
it was a fast check in and check outCons:
the car was dirty and it looked like they did not put any effort to clean the outside we were additional charges I had to pay for my husband to drive the car even though we are married and on the same policy4,0 Mediocre

Pros:
The staff in Columbia were friendly at purchase. However, the car I rented began to have issues about an hour into the drive. I called the initial rental office and they basically said "find another Hertz and exchange it". That is quite difficult today while driving down the interstate in a place you do not know. I had to call back and ask them to please at least look up a place for me to go. They told me the airport. This added an hour to my drive in a car that was having trouble speeding up when I pushed the gas. The airport people were very unfriendly and I was not at all happy with the entire experience. THEN they charged me an "exchange fee and gas cost!!!!"Cons:
Employees were only doing the minimum for their jobs. There is no extra help if you have an issue with the car.2,0 Poor

I reserved an SUV with a third row, but when I went to the Hertz dealership they didn’t have a vehicle for me. They didn’t have one anywhere in the region. We needed the SUV for my family vacation and this issue caused a major problem for us.4,0 Mediocre

Pros:
Staff was friendly. My husband made the reservation in his name when the car was for me. So, we cancelled the reservation in his name and put it in mine; otherwise, we would have to pay extra to add a driver which an increase in price wasn't disclosed until I asked. They honored the original price. However, since it was prepaid, the staff said it would take several weeks for a refund. We will monitor our credit card and dispute the charge if it isn't removed from my husband's account. I just hope we don't have to go to that trouble and the refund will go through as it should.Cons:
When we were going over the car, it was dirty. The Hertz staff said she had nowhere to get the car washed. What? So, I am driving a dirty car in a time businesses are stating they are disinfecting and cleaning things better than before. I thought this was unacceptable, but took the car anyway because I needed it and didn't have much if a choice.6,0 Okay

It got us to point A to point BCons:
The maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle. Also do was we didn’t have to pay anything for pick up and had to drop a 200 dollar deposit fee at arrive. The vehicle wasn’t even ready for us to pick up. Overall the staff were still nice.7,6 Good
