Pros: Such a beautiful retreat! The gardens and cosy spaces were perfect for relaxing! Brilliant breakfast every morning and very friendly staff. Our room was a split level loft and was extremely spacious and comfortable not a lot of natural light but we spent most of our time outdoors anyway :)
Cons: Would have been nice to have breakfast slightly earlier than 9am as we were ready to go exploring :)

Pros: We had a family suite. It felt elegant and comfortable. Nice toiletries, linens and pillows. Not too far from the port but a little bit of a walk.
Cons: Wasn’t anything we didn’t like, however our bedroom was up in the loft and the bathroom was downstairs. But, not all rooms are this way and it is a converted mansion I’m sure some layouts are a Awkward. But that didn’t take away the wonderfulness of the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was excellent and conveniently located. The staff was both friendly and helpful, giving us advice that helped us enjoy the island.
Cons: Everything was excellent

Cons: _____
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Variety, taste and quality all very good. The orange drink should be replaced with fresh squeezed orange juice.
Cons: The hostess could have been a lot friendlier. She was professional but coldly so.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: You have to turn on a water heater tank switch 20 minutes before taking shower. Maybe buffet style breakfast is better? Staff were busy serving and cleaning tables. We all need quiet relaxing atmosphere. I would just let the customers to do in breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts in the courtyard were delightful, with wonderful morsels of flavour. The staff were extremely helpful, and I loved the views from my room and the rooftop patio.

Pros: The friendly staff. They were all wonderful . We booked the studio on the very top of the building our mother had some difficulty going up the stairs,we asked if they had a one bedroom and without any questions or hesitation they moved our mother to the 1st floor. 10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay in beaitifull Hydra Island. Building is fantastic, room is so nice and owners are kind and proffessional. Garden and interior of the building is amazing. You feel like you are staying in an old mansion (probably it is), room is so clean and well designed. Bathroom is big enough and fresh. Our room was facing to village and view was amazing. You can listen the sound of village day&night. You need to walk 3-4 minutes from the port but it's better than staying in crowded port area. Also you will find a chance to travel around the Hydra village which is full of cats and beaitifull houses. Finally, one of the best thing of this hotel is it's breakfast. It's the best breakfast i had in Greece and maybe some other countries too. They serve you all the breakfast and you will feel like a special vip guest. Also it's so delicious, they cook everything inhouse. It's fress and delicious. You can stay in this hotel just for it's breakfast :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Good location, close to the ferry. Nice patio to sit for breakfast. View was very good from the room. Staff very helpful.

Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Beds were very hard. Would of been great to have coffee and tea making facilities in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with beautiful courtyard for breakfast and relaxing throughout the day. Located only a 5 minute (flat!) walk from the port on a beautiful square. Great beds and clean, modern, spacious bathroom. Would highly recommend. A must also is the orange cake from Flora’s nearby!
Cons: A kettle in the room would be great.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in historic building. Tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast. Very competent staff.
Cons: Disappointing view, in the middle of beautiful Hydra.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A little off the beaten path, but just enough to be away from the bustle of the port. I was welcomed with open arms and knowledgeable staff. Even helped me make accommodations for my early departure back to Athens, since there was an impending transpo strike on the horizon Absolute Fabulous breakfast buffet!
7,0 Good
Pros: The location 150 m from the port, the building itsself (old captain house) , the history of the building and the forthcoming people serving
6,7 Good
Pros: Loved the location, not right on the busy port, but not too far away from the center of town. Also loved the building, an old Hydriot mansion, and its front garden. Finally, I found the staff extremely helpful, friendly, and good-spirited.
Cons: I think that the breakfast served could do with an update, even within a tight budget. Also the cleanliness, could do with a little more attention to detail. But then again, I am a very-detailed oriented person, so I guess I can see a lot of things as a housewife, that other people cannot.
6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful old grand residence. Spotless. Competent and efficient front desk. Nice big rooms with very high classic- style ceilings. Right in the centre and 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and dozens of restaurants.Perfect location
Cons: Everything was just fine. The ideal location and facility
7,7 Good
Pros: There was a nice buffet breakfast that could be eaten in their lovely courtyard.
6,7 Good
Pros: The hotel has a beautiful courtyard in the front where we had breakfast every morning. The room was standard but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the location is unbeatable!
5,2 Okay
Pros: Good situated hotel with charming common areas and beautiful yard. Our room was large and clean, but quite dark and old-fashioned.
Cons: The breakfast was quite poor.
4,8 Okay
Pros: Great interior design, central location, always clean room
Cons: They should have better breakfast buffet ( it was really poor) and they should consider renovating the bathroom ( roasted tabs and metal parts) as well as buying new towels ( they were clean but extremely hard)
6,8 Good
Pros: The courtyard was very charming as were the common areas. The staff was very friendly. The view from my room was beautiful and at times lively (but the shutters were effective in blocking the noise when I wanted to sleep).
Cons: There was no overhead shower mount -- it's kind of hard to take a shower with only one hand free since you're holding the sprayer.
5,2 Okay
Pros: A nice charming hotel situated in a quite part of the town of Hydra. It is in a 100 metres walking distance from the old port of Hydra. An old mansion renovated with its tranditional style well preserved. Most importantly, to reach there, there are no steps to climb. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Rooms' interior is not as charming as the rest of the common areas of the building. Yet they are quiet and clean.
6,0 Good
Pros: Beautiful building with a nice courtyard. Great location, quiet, clean and close to the bustling Hydra harbour.
Cons: Rather spartan, poor breakfast.

Pros: Well-designed and cute rooms, personal touch, comfortable bed, nicely located in a quiet area not very far from the port resulting in an overall very good price/quality ratio. Congratulations to Yannis, the guesthouse owner, for his personal touch and care in the rooms design as well as for his willingness to provide any advice and help. We will certainly come back.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast in the courtyard every day - superb choice, very prompt service and lovely food. The location is ideal as you are within easy access of the port area but sufficiently distant to be unaffected by any noise emanating therefrom. I must however highlight the staff in the hotel. Unfortunately I had a fall when hiking in the mountains of Hydra which was exceedingly painful. The staff of the hotel could not of been more helpful, accompanying me to the hospital, obtaining prescription drugs for me and generally making sure that I had everything I might possibly need. Thank you so much for all your help - I appreciated it so much.
Cons: Not applicable
10,0 Excellent

9,0 Excellent
Pros: What a pleasant place to stay! Nice that it was a little removed from the bustle of the harbor; a very nice patio between the first floor and second; the staff was so pleasant; plenty of closet space for one or two people; very neat and clean.
Cons: I didn't find an English speaking channel on the tv; fruit at breakfast was not as ripe as in small local stores, a list in the room of some restaurants, grocery stores, wine/liquor store(s), available tours would be nice (perhaps a merchants' association should provide one to the hotels).

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very caring manager, nice and quiet rooms, off the crowds, quiet courtyard, very good atmosphere! Highly recommended.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked a lot the style of the mansion, most of the furniture and the painted ceilings on the upper floor, cause we felt like living in Hydra's "old good times". The hotel staff were really great! A small problem with the hot water of the lower floor was solved immediately. A room upgrade was also done at no extra cost. Thank you!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The courtyard where breakfast was served was also available in the afternoon and evening as a quiet, beautiful spot to read, chat, or have a beverage. Excellent place to escape the crowds, heat etc. Also, we enjoyed the generous breakfast and the friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Our room (#11) was very good -- however, the bathroom had a very low entrance, and could have been marked with a warning, strip of tape, or some other notice that it was rather low. Easy to bump your head if you weren't careful. Otherwise great.

There was no coffee pot in the room. Also, no elevator and we are getting too old for many steps. We were only one floor up and only brought a small bag with our one night.

Pros: Very central and charming houses with character. The hotel comprises into 2 properties on each side of the street. The owner mentioned they belonged to his grandparents.
Cons: The room was was quite hot as we had the one with the bedroom under the roof that had no windows (windows one floor down in the seating area). There is of couse the option to use the AC but personally prefer no to to avoid sore throats... and we were end of October. Also, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable (very hard - almost felt like sleeping on a brick).
7,9 Good
Pros: Bathroom was great. Modern shower and facilities.
Cons: Lighting was poor. Window opened to main road so you couldn't leave it open while outside the room. You had to turn the hot water tank on and off before a shower. Just leave it on - this is the cost of doing business. Room was you expensive for what was offered.

Pros: We loved the opportunity to receive the excellent hospitality of a traditional boutique hotel with a gourmet breakfast that was served with great care from the hosts themselves, who prepared daily surprises with upmost attention to detail. We will be returning soon.
Cons: _____

Pros: Variety, taste and quality all very good. The orange drink should be replaced with fresh squeezed orange juice.
Cons: The hostess could have been a lot friendlier. She was professional but coldly so.
