Pros:friendly staffCons:The car was not ready when I went for the pick up and I have been asked to come 1 hour later. Received a smaller car than the one I booked and the car was dirty in the inside and the outside.Reviewed Jul 28 2020

Pros:Unfortunately didn’t like my experience at this location.Cons:It took two hours and forty five minutes to pick up the car I booked online. They gave me less than half tank gas and charged me $20 for his. Customer service was horrible and the office smelled terribleReviewed Sep 4 2019

Pros:Poor customer service at Courtyard Marriott Emeryville. Yes, we arrived near closing, not aware of the closing hours. They did not have a car for us that we prepaid for, nor did they have a similar car. Will not use kayak, nor Hertz at this location again. Nor will I recommend anyone else to do so.Cons:Have the car or similar available as stated in the agreement. This is very bad business folks. We had to take our personal car on our trip and it was miserable! SMHReviewed Aug 5 2019

Cons:we ordered a pickup at 5pm, that was the closing time, got yelled at. Took 1 hours to get the car. Car was dirty, system was slow and no info about drop off at the end. Costs were not the same as online. Last time that I rent from HertzReviewed Jul 29 2019

Hertz DisasterPros:Not getting a carCons:I made the reservation online after carefully searching for Oakland Airport. However, my reservation was not at the airport. It was downtown. It was for 6:30 but downtown closes at 6:00. The airport location would not honor the rate. I chose another company and i am really ticked at kayak for such a fiasco.
