Pros:Pickup and drop off was easy.Cons:The car I reserved wasn't available. I was "upgraded" to a larger vehicle, however, the larger vehicle almost had 50,000 miles and was showing some wear.Reviewed Apr 7 2021

Pros:The lady at the Tompkins Airport was fantastic. Very helpful and courteous went out of her way to sanitize my credit card before returning it to me.Cons:The car was a bit dirty, Crumbs on the back seat and a hair clip in the handle. Pros:The price was affordable for a one-way rental. So much so, that I’ll still consider Hertz if/when I have a need for another one-way rental.Cons:The staff at my pickup location were a bit unfriendly and bad mouthed another customer who was on the phone. At one point, one of he staff members mentioned that the last time he was in NJ (where my bf is from), that a group of black guys tried to haggle him for money in Atlantic City - just unprofessional.Reviewed Dec 29 2019

Helped me in a bindPros:I was greatful to find a one way rental from upstate NY to NH. The Hertz team was courteous and I didn't have to wait long. I got a lovely Kia Optima for my rwntal. It was so comfortable for my 8 hour drive. Thanks Hertz!!Reviewed Sep 10 2018

Pros:The people were friendly at the counter and took cars of my needs.Cons:When I arrived there was no one at the counter to get my paperwork for me. There was only a quarter tank of gas at pick up. Airport was under construction and there was no signage on what to do to get the car..Reviewed Jul 28 2018

Ford Excursion Not Bad, But Not GreatPros:It was relatively roomy for 6 people, one of which was under 6' tall. No room in the back for much more than a couple of bags. Third row had to climb out over the second row seats, but, that is to be expected. Would be nice to have power for recharging devices in a more convenient location, too. Interior amenities were lacking- clearly the base model. Nice power for such a large vehicle. Fairly easy for me to maneuver. As for booking, seemed to be a disconnect between the local office and the internet. Called the local office, they said they didn't have a vehicle, but then I was able to book one online through a proxy site. The staff was awesome in answering my many calls to ask specific questions about the vehicle.Cons:Dropping off was a bit contentious, as there was no representative available at 9PM Sunday evening. Not a huge deal, but, I had to figure out some details on my own.Reviewed May 3 2017
