I rented the vehicle for a trip out of state. When I rented it, I called in to ask about the cancellation policy because there was a potential that the trip might not happen. I was told that as long as I canceled 24 hours prior to picking up the vehicle, there weren't any charges. When I had to cancel the rental, I was told that wasn't correct and they had to bill me $50. Sounds kind of dishonest to me.Reviewed Oct 24 2022

Pros:Drop off was on day office closed and was easy. Just write down mileage, date and time returned. .Cons:Office closed at 5pm and pick up was scheduled for 5pm. When I got there a little late due to lack of signage for pick up and traffic, they were closed and it cost me a day of vacation. No number to call or anything. When I called Hertz, it went to National line and they wouldn’t help me because I booked through Kayak. When I went the next morning to pick it up, I mentioned it to the counter person and she was rude about it and not concerned.Reviewed May 31 2021

Pros:It was a convenient location for us.Cons:Our car was not available so they “upgraded” us but it wasn’t really what we needed in terms of luggage space. The car was clearly not cleaned before we got it, which besides being gross is also a Covid concern. Plus the gas tank was only 3/4 full. We were not given any sort of compensation for the gas shortage, just a shrug and a comment to put it in our survey.Reviewed Oct 7 2020

Pros:I got a sweet little Nissan Rogue - exactly what I wanted. It was a brilliant little car for my trip. It was perfect. The people at the little rental center were very nice - and efficient. Challenging pickup & dropoff with constructionPros:The Toyota Corolla was in excellent mechanical condition and was clean. The two employees working in the office were kind, efficient, and knowledgeable.Cons:Over a long drive, the driver's seat and steering wheel wasn't comfortable. With construction around the hotel's pick up and drop off site, it was a little challenging to find a good parking place where we could leave the car. But those are minor concerns. Charged many extra timesPros:I loved the vehicle and the people at the rental and the convenience of booking online.Cons:I was charged a $200 deposit after paying in full for the rental online and then 3 days later after returning the car I was charged $66, $66, and $67 dollars separately. Really frustrating because it makes me have to do more work to ensure I'm not being overcharged.Reviewed Dec 26 2017
