Pros: Located across from the ferry terminal and nearby to some nice dining. The hotel is really modern and rooms are nicely done. The bed is very comfortable. Great shower and amenities. Cons: We just passed through Heraklion from Chania to get to Santorini. Did not stay there long but did not seem to be a vacation hotspot. Would prefer to not make my own orange juice.

Pros: Great service, nice room.
Cons: Noisy at times as located in the proximity of the airport. Then again so is almost all of Heraklion and the windows keep out most of the noise. The step up chair provided in front of the bathtub to climb in and use as a shower is a nice touch but I prefer a separate shower without the climbing exercise.

The staff invited us to have breakfast while our room was being readied and we were shown to our room by 09:00. It allowed us to rest for a while and then venture into town. Cons: This was a very dissapointing stay for us. I would say this is a good 4* hotel, definitely not 5*. Overpriced for what you get. Pools closed in december, you could not even go to the rooftop for views. The bathroom was really bad and small - it had no door. Slow wifi. Breakfast was very dissapointing. Food waas evry average and the person who was supposed to make eggs to order was never there (we stayed 5 nights). Coffee was made to order but some mornings it was jsut terrible. Noisy - you can hear the airport in the harbour view rooms.

Lovely touch was having bread and raki delivered to our room shortly after check-in and, having fruit and wine left in our room on our wedding anniversary. Added bonus was the valet parking as the weather was so bad when we arrived we would have been soaked on arrival!

Door stop in bathroom, although essential to stop the door banging into the toilet, was in such an awkward place, both my husband and I stubbed our toes several times. For a superior room, although comfortable, the bed could have been a bit bigger.

Pros: It was the perfect location. A short walk to the port for our early morning ferry. Staff was helpful and informative. They directed us to the Archeological Museum a short walking distance away. It was a fabulous museum. The A/C on and windows shut it was nice and quiet. Very accommodating in the morning - making us coffee at 6:30am.
Cons: There was supposed to be coffee in the room - but housekeeping forgot to leave it.

Pros: Breakfast was OK, good ratio between cost and quality/quantity. The hotel also has a small bar, excellent location near the main bus station, port... It is easy to find. I strongly recommend taking the bus from the airport and not the taxi, even if you land early or late. Buses are frequent and much cheaper!
Cons: The evenings and early mornings are quite noisy due to planes constantly taking off from the nearby airport.

Pros: Hotel is 5 minutes walking from the port and the city center. Room was really nice and clean well equiped. Found everthing what we needed. Room was without the window but we didn´t mind since we spend here only one night. Good quality for a good price. If we have to spend night in Heraklion again we will stay here again.

Pros: Very nice welcoming and helpful staff. Location was good for port and bus terminal.
Cons: Did not get any sleep. Very noisy all night with people coming and going as my room was near lift and stairwell. Sounded like Furniture being moved on tiles downstairs late night and in early morning hours. guy yelling on his mobile outside my room at 2am. On flight path. Although room was very clean the bathroom smelt dreadful.

Pros:
Cons: The mattress was coil spring and painful. No padding. The hotel is directly under the take off path of jet planes at Heraklion airport. Horribly loud and collision lights reflect in the window. Hotel very noisy because one needs to literally slam the room door to close it. Not pet friendly. Rooms are very small and the wifi unreliable or unavailable.

Cons: Don't know much about the lift they advertise. I think it starts on the second floor? Planes are definitely noisy, but fine for a night or two; no matter where we went on Greece there were planes and helicopters making some noise.
