Cons: I make reservation for 2 rooms. However, the front staff said to me that they can find just 1 room. I did show them the voucheur but they said repeatly they cannot find. What is less dense is that the room with the name of the person who booked it is missing. I spent so many time for checking in. That is first time that I have problem such like this for usung booking.com site. Besides, they did not speak English well. I called to reception because I could not find the hair dryer. Hoever, they could not understand the word 'find'.

Cons: The window glass was quite hazy, and I think this might be down to either lack of cleaning on the outside, or the glass becoming attacked by whatever is in the smog which hangs over the city. This is a small gripe, although it would have been nice to have had a clearer view.

Cons: It would have been more convenient if there’s few stuffs who can help for check-in. We didn’t knew where to check in and were just standing on front of the so called information area and no one noticed. Later on knew it’s in different place. Swimming pool should open bit later

Cons: There was two main issues for us. Firstly, the staff speak little to no English, or even Cantonese (which is bizarre as the hotel is in Guangzhou). This makes ordering food, and generally navigating the facilities extremely difficult. The other issue we had was an unexpected hotel policy that requires guests to pay a substantial deposit or pre authorisation at check in for potential damage or services. This isn’t up to standard for a 5 Star hotel carrying the Hilton brand.

Pros: The room was lovely and clean and the facilities were gorgeous, especially the pool. The breakfast buffet was very good value for money and all of the food and drink was delicious with a fantastic mix of Asian and western food. The area around is great for shopping and eating although tourist attractions are a bit further out. I highly recommend visiting the Bombax restaurant across the road if you’re missing food from home and some of their drinks selection is a must-try.

Cons: The spa in the hotel doesn’t provide many treatments and is way more expensive than other hotels in the area and in general in China. If you want to go swimming you must wear a swim cap, which is fine, but remember to bring your own if you can as they don’t have many to lend and we ended up using possibly the staff’s own caps!

Pros: Excellent Service in Executive Lounge. I find their Staff like Mark and Allan very helpful in solving my flight booking problem with China Southern Airlines.
Cons: Some telephone operators attending to At Your Service are quite bad in understanding English terms like In Door Safety Deposit Box and TV Remote Control Unit.

Pros: The Hotel was 5 star and staff were trained well. Food was excellent and Prime steakhouse was very good. All facilities were 5 star and this is rare in many parts of China.
Cons: The shopping precinct attached to the Hotel was also very 5 star and perhaps some cheaper shopping options nearby would be benificial.

Pros: Lido has always been my favourite when I come to GuangZhou. It is super convenient in terms of Shopping, Dining and Moving around. There is a massage centre on 12th Floor that I always patronize. The room is clean and quiet, not so smoky, maybe because I requested Non Smoking level.
