Pros: Friendly staff Comfort overall
Cons: No comments
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed at this hotel several times now, and would always come back. It's in a great location, easy walking distance from the centre of Ghent (and with some very good bars and restaurants close by.). Staff are professional and helpful (we really appreciated the help of the young porter who dashed back to our room to retrieve a phone charger after we had checked out.). It has had a renovation since our last visit, and the bar has been moved to the first floor - it's a good location for a relaxing drink on arrival. Rooms are decorated in calm neutral tones, and are a good size with comfortable beds, good pillows, and plenty of storage space. The free minibar and welcome drink are a very nice touch. We'll definitely be back - many thanks.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Interior of the hotel is so amazing
Cons: The service is quite normal and below expectation but not that bad.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What's not to like, the hotel is stunning, the recent refurbishment has been amazing! Beautiful public areas, bright, airy, modern and spacious, but the absolute stand out memory I will keep is the staff! Never have I had such truly amazing customer service, from the moment we checked in the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and incredibly professional and efficient. The small touches are what really made our stay fantastic. The complimentary guidebook of Ghent and the walking map, the chocolate in the room from the Chocolatier at the end of the road, the welcome drinks. All the small things add up to make your stay truly memorable. Even after we had checked out the amazing customer service continued, we were running late to catch the tram to the train station so asked reception to call us a cab. Unfortunately, all the cabs were busy, and rather than miss our train, the Concierge drove us to the train station. AMAZING! I can't wait to go back!
Cons: Nothing, there is absolutely nothing negative I can say about our stay. Genuinely can't think of anything that can be improved upon.

Pros: The location is brilliant, just 250 yards from the Old Town, they also have secure parking (extra cost) approx. 150 yards away. This is a family run small guesthouse with just 4 rooms, very nice people and an excellent breakfast is included.
Cons: Our room had a shower and loo but it wasn't in a separate bathroom which was a bit strange
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy clean apartment, 7 mins walk from the Korenmarket. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, great little mini kitchen in the junior suite. Breakfast was wonderful and the host catered for my gluten free need.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was a very nice surprise. Even though it looked good in the pictures, it was even nicer in reality! Plenty of space and with many nice little touches. The fireplace was awesome to have after I dragged my luggage in the rain when I arrived. The location was excellent, right in the center of the city. The breakfast was prepared with care, who doesn't like a warm croissant when they wake up? :) The hostess was very welcoming and friendly.
Cons: The open bathroom scheme was fine for me, as I was by myself, but might not be ok for others. The toilet is separated however, with a non-see-through glass door, and there is a screen available for some more privacy in the shower.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and beautifully arranged room with a lot of space, cozy, comfortable and a bit luxurious! Excellent location, a very sympathetic couple, who run the house . Healthy breakfast!
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
7,1 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Large room. Nice breakfast.
Cons: No privacy for bathroom. Uncomfortable bed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect for access to the centre of Ghent which is a great city. My Junior Suite was spacious, creatively decorated and outfitted with everything required for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: "On site" parking was 100+mteres from the property although it was under cover, easily accessible and fairly secure. Suite was on 4th floor. Staircase was fairly steep and narrow and shoes had to be removed. Taking a large suitcase up to the room was impractical due to risk of damaging walls or slipping on carpet.

6,3 Good
Pros: Lovely breakfast!
Cons: Very noisy at night (above pub), shelf over bunkbed meant kids kept hitting their heads, a lot of stairs to climb with luggage, double duvets in single covers meant you are either too hot or too cold, no parking close by...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Unique, comfy hotel on quiet street but very close to center. Staff was helpful.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The staff is very professional and polite. The real plus of this place. Whenever I had issues they have always answered with a kind and comprehensive approach. The position is super and beds are comfortable
Cons: As far as my experience Rooms have poor standard. In total I stayed 4 days and over my staying I asked to change rooms. The first one looked nice but in my opinion it was terribly smelly (but not according to the staff). The second one was big but in my opinion again very smelly - probably from the pipes - as well as particularly noisy as it is positioned above the kitchen and thus the floor was vibrating quite strong. Then They kindly moved me in another room which was way better but still, little attention to details: there was a quite big spider web in the ceiling and the sink was stuck!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and very near centre of Ghent, particularly as the hotel also provided parking (needs to be booked in advance)
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The owner was super nice, she gave us a lot of help to visit Gent and enjoy it! I loved the place, the room was nice and had everything also for coffee and tea (also a fridge). We felt like home!
Cons: I think the price was a bit high for only one night and also considering the position (not exactly in the centre but easily connected).

Pros: The host is very friendly and the garden is very beautiful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location with an enclosed garden for guests' use where dogs were welcome. Large shabby chic room, more of a bedsit with fridge, microwave, coffe maker, table and chairs for eating as well as other comfortable furniture that seemed to have come from someone's very nice home. Bed comfortable, electric mosquito repeller that worked: I could imagine myself spending weeks here writing a book. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Being at the end of a one way street with no shops or restaurants within (my) walking distance meant taking the car to the Greek restaurant on the other side of the river (and roadworks made it a long way round). Quite a long drive from the centre of Ghent but we were back on our route more quickly the next morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming. Lovely place to stay and nice quite area. Gave us useful information, breakfast/drinks ect was good. Would book again if we visit gent in the future.

Pros: Luxurious room in unique location (a former monestary). Very close to the Centre of Ghent on quiet street.
Cons: Coffee cups and spoons could have been better cleaned. They were sticky.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was fabulous and the atmosphere was charming.
Cons: They do not have many parking spots available and we had trouble parking on the premises. Also, I think they are doing renovations and so some areas were not the cleanest.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was just fantastic and the location excellent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We had a recently renovated room which was a real bonus given we were expecting something very basic from the room pictures we’d seen on the website when we book (NB, these have now been removed, but not yet replaced with new pics.). The main room and the bathroom were very spacious and well decorated. The beds were comfortable, an it was great to have very good reading lights, a good coffee machine and a mini fridge. The monastery/hotel itself is an extraordinary building for a hotel. Reception staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The lack of anything available to eat in the evening. We stayed on a Sunday night and by the time we got around to wanting to eat, it was raining heavily, we were very tired and something on site would have been most welcome. The breakfast is expensive and as we don’t eat much at that time of day, was not worth paying for, however good it might have been. (We found a great, cheap, small breakfast in the cafe just up the road.)
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fine and served in a lovely room. Accommodation was comfortable but a little dated. Location is excellent and very quiet considering you are in the centre of town.
Cons: The room was a bit dated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent just on the edge of the old center so it’s also quiet. Very modern facilities but the historic feel is fully maintained. We were allowed to leave our car parked after checking out so we could spend some extra time around town.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They’ve done a brilliant job of renovations to this Monasterium, the rooms are spacious, bathrooms are great, all clean and comfy. Breakfast is excellent and if something’s empty of missing you can just ask. Short walk in to the centre, has its own car park and own bar area. Great place to stay with character.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The old buildings are beautiful and have been well refurbished. Breakfast was really good. But sadly there was no oat or almond milk for the allergies. Many cannot take soy milk any more.
Cons: One part of the building doesn' t have a lift which is a real disadvantage for us elderly people. It is the more modern part . Luckily, after we struggled up and down the stairs on the first day, we could move into a room on the ground floor. The showers are good but the floors are dangerous because slippery when wet Imagine us slipping in the shower and breaking our bones! A mat or something of that sort should be provided, or the shower floors should be "roughened up" with material that offers more friction.
