Pros: Staff were very efficient and friendly especially the porter Tanveer. I didn’t have change in aed and only had dollars, so 3 Aed were missing, but the taxi driver refused to receive the money by card or dollars. So the porter came to my rescue and paid the taxi driver and told me not to worry! He is extremely kind and a good natured person! Service is excellent as one day we left the room very late and yet they didn’t refuse to clean the room. Great staff. They also have taxis waiting at any time you leave the hotel which is great. I also loved the huge rooms and comfy bed and pillows and the Breakfast had delicious hot croissants. The hotel also gave complimentary water bottles everyday

Cons: My shower had problems regarding cold and hot water. Either it was too cold or too hot and it turned hot/cold suddenly so it was a bit frustrating. I complained to the receptionist and they said they would fix it but while I stayed there always had this problem. Breakfast doesn’t have salted butter!!!!! Seriously, who doesn’t love salted butter? They should have both options, but they only had unsalted! Breakfast was too crowded

Cons: I thought the rooms were non smoking so I was a bit disappointed when we checked in and the room was smelling of cigarette. They sent a cleaner to refresh the room and we opened the slide door which cleared the smell after some time.

Pros: As a family of 5 we had a great stay in the connected family rooms. The staff was very helpful and the restaurants, especially Yum are great. Room service was also very good. We only spend an afternoon at the pool which also was perfect. The location near Old Dubai gives more of a local feel.

The room and bathroom were perfect, so clean, well appointed. Loved the animal made with towels on Sunday on Sunday morning with the towels! Everyone was so respectful with me being a different culture: Irish/Australian. A very big “Thank You” to everyone including Security and staff in the Executive Lounge - and I must not forget tte wonderful people who worked in the shop!

Also entrance automatic door was not working during my stay, even nobody put a notice on it that gate is not working. I tried to entered and then memorized that gate is not working. I can understand that sometimes due to some fault issue it was not working but atleast they should stick notes that it is not working. Also the Restro-bar at groundfloor was not opened due to some renovation.

The fact the hotel is smaller than the megahotels which dot Dubai makes for a much more friendly stay than the typical impersonal and rather sterile experience

No internet available in room. Digital tv with thousand channels, but only a few in English/French. If you want a bit more luxury I'd recommend the newer Winchester Deluxe hotel in Kuwaiti street.

Cons: The hotel manager is unfriendly and is never seen or available from behind his closed door. Manager's secretary does not bother to reply to several urgent emails. But this is not important as it is really the RECEPTION and HOUSEKEEPING and ROOM-SERVICE staff that makes this establishment a great place to stay.

Cons: The service was horrible. Receptionist don't care about you at all. Once they have ur money they don't care. Worst service I have ever seen I wish I never stayed here. Been to two other hotels in Dubai and they treat u like loyalty. The workers at the hotel are all extremely rude. Even room service woke me up at 4 am twice for food and it was the wrong room. I have sleeping issues and they didn't even bother to let me check out later. Disgusting service over all. Food in menu shown isn't even available. Rooms look old. Just thank avoid this place. Dubai is supposed to be enjoyable and this place took my whole experience away

Pros: I would like to thank Mr Niyas, the supervisor daytimes, Mr Faisal, the bellboy, Ms Lyn, the receptionist. They were very warm, friendly, polite to guests, to me. From the beginning of my stay until after 2days, they have remained composed and accomodating. They were very helpful and professional with their job. Even when I was terribly upset and angry at my initial stay because of room accomodation at 5pm not still available after i made online booking, but really they did not leave me unattended and they were very prompt wth their solutions. Exceptional staffs. ❤

Cons: I didnt like the delay of housekeeping services. For cleaning the room, i had to disturb and irritate the receptionist because cleaner do not come in a reasonable time. They come late usually after more than 30minutes. I have also asked to change my towels for the day and i was only given a small one and was promised by a cleaner to be given the bigger one later in the evening. However, until 1am NOBODY came to give. Very disappointing. During my stay also, I cut myself my small finger was wounded, skin flapped open causing me to bleed endlessly because microwave was placed on top of a huge fridge and i needed to move it down because NO plug anywhere around. Touching the bottom part, i cut myself. I asked for assistance through receptionist AFRUS but he was inactively helping saying repeatedly he already called someone to come to the room to help me. I made more than 5 calls and had to fight with him to urge to send me someone so i can stop my bleeding. He even told me to learn how to be polite??? Excuse me?? I was bleeding and no one came after 20 minutes and am bleeding and how u expect us guests to be polite??? What is this??? Security came, only after 20 minutes slowly walking and bringing NOTHING AT ALL, NO FIRST AID KIT NO NOTHING. Her name is Ruth. I asked her why no first aid kit??? She answered " I HAVE TO CHECK THE WOUND FIRST MAM" reallllllyyyyy pearl park??? Are u kidding me??? You come at the guest scenario without any first aid kit and u just looked at the patient then go leave her again??? She left again and never came immediately.... she only came after more than 15 minutes again. See??? Look at the super extensuve delay this is. This happened at around 12.00 MIDNIGHT and everything ended exactly at 1.45 PAST MIDNIGHT see how much time it took overall!!! ALSO, SHE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO DO SIMPLE WOUND TREATMENT HOW TO STOP THE BLEEDING. SHE DIDNT KNKW HOW TO DO HER JOB AT ALL. EVEN HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN THE WOUND AND COVER IT LATER. WORSE.

Cons: We waited long time to go to our room. The room was very dirty, sticky floor, the sofas were smelly, there was a cockroach in the bedroom. No soap no towels, the hot water wasn’t working in one of the bathrooms. The bathrooms were dirty and smelly as well, it showed that they only cleaned the surfaces that show. We asked for room service to at least clean the floor again, since it was pretty late at night, the cleaner came in with a very dirty mop, and made it worse...

Cons: When we got there, the specific room that we booked wasn't available so they upgraded us to 2-bedroom apartment in which we had to pay additional 50AED. When we got in the room, the sofa was very dirty, almost no kitchen utensils, no fridge, no bathroom towels, the remote control and water heater weren't working. We had to call the reception and it took them forever to provide all the things we needed. Horrible. It was definitley not worth the price.
