Breakfast was none-existent....Had donuts/rolls & coffee.....I was told there would be no usual breakfast after I had paid for the room....There were least expensive hotels in town....but....I....thought Holiday Express had a better reputation....we were wrong!!! There were very few people staying at the hotel, but we were given a room which was next to the highway...so we were wide awake at 6:00am by heavy truck noise....seems all the rooms on the Quite Side of the hotel were not used...I guess the front desk has marching orders to fill the front rooms first...didn't work for us !!!
repeat of above info.
The beds and pillows
seemed like it was in a sketchy area
The room was spacious. The bed & sofa comfortable. Handheld shower was nice. Loved having bath gel, shampoo and conditioner in pump bottles inside the tub. Towels were fluffy. Lots of different kinds of lighting in the room. Plenty of USB and electrical plugins. Curtains did a good job of blacking out light. In room K cup coffee was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was no blow dryer in our room and they were quick to bring one to us.
The bed had risers which really made it hard to get into. With bad knees I like to have not gotten into the bed at night. It was supposed to be a handicap room, which the tub/shower comb did have a handheld shower head and grab bars but you had to step way up into the tub, which made it hard to get out of as well. The vanity was kind of small making it crowded when my husband and I put our bathroom stuff out. There was only 1 TV, which was at the end of the bed so if you were sitting on the sofa or at the desk you had to really pull the wall mounted TV out and turn it a lot. It almost made it hard to get around the bed from the right side as you came around the end of the bed. They either need to supply a step for those of us that are short or take the bed in the handicap rooms off of the risers. The closet was free standing in the room, which was different. You could not hang full length clothes or shirts/pants in it because of the room safe at the bottom of the half shelf closet. At first I thought it was a full length closet, until I opened and saw a shelf half way to the bottom. Hangers were under the shelf and above the room safe about 2 foot. I'm 5'4" and my shirts would not hang straight down. The entrance to this hotel was very, very hard to see and a really small driveway with deep potholes on either side. There was a small black and white about 12"x12" sign to show you where to turn in. It was especially hard to see at night. You also had to go west on 380, do a U turn to get to the hotel.
Everything was good
